New Rubbah from Doodle Dragon Studios

Long, long, long time no see, crafty friends!  I have been so far removed from my crafty stuffs that you all probably thought I'd croaked!  Simply not so, quite clearly, since here I am!

I wanted to share a quick little card using Lucky Rabbit from Doodle Dragon Studios...in rubbah!  You can find this cutie patootie for sale at C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps.  I added a love ticket...because he's lucky in love, this hunny bunny!  I used my Prismacolor pencils to color him up.

Thanks for popping by to see what I'm up to!  Hopefully I'll post a lot sooner next time!  MWAH!

Doodle Dragon & Designed to Color Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Spring Fling Hop with Doodle Dragon Crew and Design to Color!  You should have hopped from Lisa's fabby blog.  If not, please start back at DTC so you don't miss out on any of the fun projects...or chances to win!  ;O)

We are so happy you could join us for this special occasion. It is also Dustin Pikes 4 year Blogaversary!  Woohoo!  You won't want to miss out on the deals he is offering!  Some of the crew used images from the new set, so hop around and get inspired.  Don't forget to check out the blogaversary sets on his blog and in the store HERE!

Today I decided "SPRING" backwards and use an image from the March 2012 Members Only file.  The number on this image is Mar12MO10B.  I printed him out on Neenah card stock and paired him with some EP polka dot paper and some BoBunny card stock.  The cute little flower card stock sticker is from Cosmo Cricket that I picked up on clearance at my LSS.  I colored this BEE-utififul image with my trusty Copics, which I have listed for you below.  The sentiment is a rubber stamp from CC Designs that I blinged up with a little help from my Gelly Roll Stardust pen in clear.  I wish you could see the subtle sparkle on his wings...it's so pretty IRL!
FUR: E42, E43, E84
BEE SUIT: YR31, Y21, Y38

It's a Simply Betty Kind of Day...

Good morning, all my crafty cupcakes!  TGIF!  Woohoo!  Can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week?  Already?  Wow...I am not EVEN close to being ready for it, but I can't wait!  :O)

So today is a Simply Betty kind of day.  That's right...a new challenge starts TODAY!  Our last one wasn't a huge hit for some reason, but we're hoping to reel you all in with this one!  Use any rubber stamp with your SBS digital image!  I have to say that for some reason this was HARD...seriously hard!  I'm totally embarrassed to say that this card took me all day.  I have no idea what the problem was.  Definitely didn't flow, that's for sure!  I even used a sketch (and for some reson I have no idea where I got it from either!)...some days, I swear!  It did take a while to get Becky (from the Punky Teens Christmas line) printed to the right size.  I used the little tree stump rubber stamp from CC Designs.  Becky's hoodie is paper pieced, as well as part of her hat.  This image makes me laugh.  Put some chocolate in place of the candy candy and this is totally me!  Hiding out wherever I can.  My original idea was to use a sentiment that said something like "Take  time for yourself this holiday season," but I couldn't get it to fit and look good.  I added some Liquid Applique with glitter for the snow and a small pom pom for the ball on her hat. After about six hours (no, I'm not kidding) I was totally done dealing with it!  I hope you like it better than I do!  :O)

Don't forget to check out the awesomeness that is the Simply Betty Design Team!  They never disappoint!  :O)  Links for them are also on my sidebar!

P.S.  If you know what blog this lovely sketch came from, please let me know!

Summah, Summah, Summahtime!

Good morning again, friends!  Back, as promised, with my entry for Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge #5.  I am so mad at myself for missing the last 2 challenges AND the first blog hop they had.  See what going to CHA costs?  ;O)

I used Queen's Cutie from Kenny K's and sat her on a CC Designs swiss field fence that I purchased at All That Scraps.  The theme for this week's challenge is Summertime...I wanted the image to be the main focus, so I printed it out rather large and colored away!  Just some matting, rhinestones and inside sentiment (by Taylored Expressions)...all done!

Extra Challenges:
The Pink Elephant - summer fun
One Stop Craft Challenge - summer fun
Cute Card Thursday - whateva
Pile It On - a little bit country, a little bit rock n roll

Summertime Memories with ATS...

Hello everyone!  Just a quick post this afternoon before the storms hit {again}.  This week's challenge at All That Scraps is to make anything but a card.  Easy peasy!  I made a digital layout...are you surprised?  LOL!  I used the digi Butterfly Nora on my page.  I colored her in with Photoshop and even paper pieced her dress.  The adorable girl is my niece, Caysi...along with her Nanny's 3 Bischon's.

Hope you're all having a fantastic day!  :O)

Flutter, Flutter at BSC#1!

***This is my second post...if you were looking for the awesome sketch post for The Digi Shack, please scroll down!***

Here I am again!  Happy Hump Day my crafty friends!  It's time for another Flutter By Wednesday!  Your challenge this week is to use paper piecing {along with a butterfly, fairy or angel} on your creation.  I love this technique!  I paper pieced her outfit and I stamped an extra head and popped it up for added dimension.  I used a stamp from CC Designs and lots of Basic Grey papers...along with the Mojo Monday sketch.  I'm happy with the way this one turned out.  :O)  I am also entering this into the Beary Scrap Challenge...May Flowers.

Be sure to visit all of my talented DT sisters to see what they made too.  :O)  Links are on my sidebar!

Last Minute Challenge Entry

Hello again all!  I'm just squeaking in to enter this challenge at All That Scraps.  Their last challenge was to use pink and brown...like I can pass that up?  LOL!  It gave me another chance to ink up some of the stamps I haven't had the chance to play with yet too.  :O)

I made this get well card.  The brown and white paper is die cut paper from Making Memories.  I popped it up off of the pink card stock to give some extra dimension, though I didn't photograph it very well.  I also popped up the umbrella.  I added dew drops and rhinestones to the flower centers and CTMH's Liquid Glass to the raincoat and wellies.

Flutter By Wednesday #96

Good morning everyone!  I am feeling better today, thank goodness!  I was having a bit of coloring withdrawal!  :O)  It's Wednesday and time for Flutter By Wednesday #96!  This week's challenge is to create something with a love theme, however you perceive it.  You MUST use a butterfly, fairy or angel!

I used a CC Designs digi image...Nurse Nora.  It was supposed to say I'm the Love Doctor, but this is how she ended up.  I figure you have to love someone to want to take care of them, so...

I hope you enjoy my card this week! Be sure to check out the rest of the design team's creations! Ann, Cassie, Chris, Christine, Danni, Harriet, Heather, Jodi, Karen, Kimberly, Kris, Kristie, Michelle, Nancy, Nicola & Pam.
