Simply B Stamps Preview - Lifeguard Christian

On to preview day #4 at Simply B Stamps!  Are you loving these new Teen Scenes?  Here's the snippit that was  prepared and posted on Facebook...

Our fourth image is Lifeguard Christian, and he's ready for any beach emergency...although I'm not sure there is a cure for the pitter-patter of a young girl's heart when she looks upon this cutie pie!  I used some Echo Park and Pink Paislee DP for this one.  I followed the sketch over at Card Patterns this week.

Meet me back here tomorrow for another fun preview!  MWAH!!!

Steampunk Halloween Release at Simply Betty Stamps!

Good morning all!  I am so excited to share with you today!  Simply Betty Stamps now has the Steampunk Halloween line live in the shop!  These images are to die for...no joke!

First up I have Druscilla the Demon.  I used some Echo Park Apothecary Emporium DP along with some purple and dark red card stock.  I got the charm at Hobby Lobby, I believe.

Next we have Beatrix the Witch...I am loving her!  She is bad to the bone!  I colored this one with a combination of Copics and Prismacolor pencils.  More Echo Park DP and card stock stickers on this one.  I loosely used the sketch over at Card Patterns for this one.

Last image is called Lydia the Living Dead Girl.  I so love her outfit!  I used some MME Blackbird DP for this one along with the current sketch at Deconstructed Sketches.  The metal sentiment is from Making Memories.

Head over to the SBS blog and be sure to comment, comment, comment for your chance at a digital image...this'll be your only chance for a digi of these babies!  Thanks so much for checking in today!

The 6th Day of Halloween...SBS

Good evening (said in my best Dracula voice)!  I whipped up a card for the 6th day of Halloween challenge over at Simply Betty Stamps.  It's due tonight, so I had to post one more time!  :O)

I used LondonPumpkin for my card.  I also used the sketch for Card Patterns and the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge.  I colored her with my trusty Copics and I now know I am in desperate need of a C5 refill!  I also used nesties, Echo Park DP, ribbon from stash, button embellie by K&Co, Zva flourish bling, pop dots, TH distress ink in black soot.  What do you think of this card?  I really am loving London!  :O)

New Release at Doodle Dragon Studios!

Good morning, my sweets!  It's another dreary day here in Kansas City today...this is day 3 of the rain and clouds.  At least we have the internet and digital images to play with, right?  Speaking of digis, today is a new release for Dustin Pike's Doodle Dragon Studios!  Some fun Halloween images, frames and backgrounds!

Today I used the digi "If the Shoe Fits."  The actual stamp just says "If the shoe fits!"...I felt the need to be snarky, so I added you're probably a witch.  LOL!  I colored them with my Copics and added some black glitter to the buckles.  The DP is Eerie from Basic Grey, card stock and ribbon (colored with Copics) from my stash, rhinestones from Michael's, MS edge punch, nesties, TH Distress inks.  I also roughly used the Card Patterns Sketch 81.

Here's another picture of the background stamp I used for a full card front...that post can be found HERE.

Be sure to check in at Dustin's Blog for info on a new monthly Stamp Club and to check out what the DT members have made for you today!  You can also find the links to the DT on my sidebar!

COME BACK TOMORROW FOR FOR MY BLOGAVERSARY!  YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS IT!

What? No Pretty Paper?

Hello everyone!  Sorry for my absence!  I got pretty sick and slept FOREVER!  I am feeling {mostly} human today.  Since I missed out on sharing Jake's 1st day of school photo earlier this week, I'd love to share it now.  The first picture is last year's 1st day of school, followed by this year's...WOW!  You never really realize how much they grow until you compare like this!

It's time for another challenge at Doodle Dragon Studios Challenge Blog!  The next 2 weeks, through September 5th, your challenge is to use any DDS image and NO DESIGNER PAPER!  What?  No pretty papers?  That's right!  A difficult challenge for me!  Here's what I came up with using the sketch at Card Patterns...

Come on over and join us for your chance to win a free DDS image of your choice!  Check out the rest of the team's creations too!

Spring Cleaning? But...

DUST BUNNIES ARE OUR FRIENDS!!!  Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you all had a great weekend and are refreshed for this week.  ;O)

I made this card with an older Card Patterns sketch {#56} and this cute Dust Bunny image from Wink Wink Ink.  I used the pre-colored version of the digital stamp along with the included sentiment.  A cute card to send someone just because.  Be sure to head over to the WWI blog to check out the ongoing challenge (ends April 26th) and then hop over to the WWI Shop and buy yourself some super cute digital stamps today!

Have a great day everyone!  :O)

Mother Hen

Happy Friday everyone!!!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend planned!

I wanted to come by today to share a Mother's Day card with you.  I used one of Wink Wink Ink's fun digital images today and paired it with the sketch at Card Patterns.  I actually used my Prismacolor pencils this time instead of my Copics...imagine that!

While I'm here I wanted to remind you that Wink Wink Ink is having their first ever challenge and you still have plenty of time to play along!  All you need to do is use any WWI image (there is a freebie on the blog!) and border punches!  That's it!  Let's see ya get punchy with us!!!

The Shack is Back!

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!  Woohoo...the weekend is upon us!  I wanted to pop on this morning to announce that THE SHACK IS BACK!  The Digi Shack, that is!  Toni is back in full force and has some new digitals coming out on the 6th!  I'm here to show off a sneaky peek of one of them since I have been asked to stay on as a DT member.  Thanks Toni!

I used this cuter than cute bunny for my sneak peek.  I like to call him Funny Bunny since he makes me laugh.  Along with that I used the sketch over at Card Patterns.  It really didn't come out like I envisioned, but not every card of mine is a masterpiece...it is original though.  LOL!

Don't forget that these images will be released at The Digi Shack's new home (link will be provided later...we're being SNEAKY) on March 6th!  Be sure to come back for an awesome blog hop!  :O)

Card Patterns Sketch

Hi everyone!  I had a full day of errands and then some getting ready for the Sassy Studio Designs Release Party on Thursday!!!  I wanted to pop on and show you the card I made for Card Patterns this week.  I love this sketch and it worked out well with this image, "Holiday Shopping".  :O)  Here is the sketch and my take on it.

Here I have used the SSD Pillow Box Template along with the Cocoa image...both of these will be released on Thursday, October 15th!  Doesn't she look so comfy and content sipping her hot cocoa?  I plan to add a Starbuck's gift certificate inside.  :O)

Don't forget that Sassy Studio Designs has Card Scents too!  We have some new scents coming for the holidays...I will keep you updated on those!  What's better than getting a handmade card?  One that smells good enough to eat, of course!  :O)

Hi again. I got a super cute Ketto stamped image from Holley on Scrapbook Place and I had to use her right away! I decided to use it for the sketch challenge over at Card Patterns. Here is the sketch...

and here is my card using it. I used Sorbet line papers by Kaiser Crafts, pearls by same, white cs, ribbon from stash, CTMH paper piercer, CM oval cutting system, CTMH citrus leaf ink, corner rounder, sentiment printed, Brock Script font, stickles on crown and Prismacolor pencils to color the Ketto image.

Here are some close-ups. I hope you like it! :O)
