Ended the second week of work yesterday. Work induction on Tuesday. Had quite an amount of free time during the first few days of work. The projects has since came in.. Don't really like the finance part but it's good to know I guess. Other than that I kinda like helping out with the various projects which are going on now(: Always exhausted from work and all the traveling though :/   Had thought of working out after work but I always end up just sleeping after dinner and washing up. RPDB girls reunion last Sunday after training(: Missed the seniors so much. It's been such a long time since we all gathered and just talked and had fun hanging out(: They also bought cakes for me and Aifaa as a belated birthday celebration(:  Training today. Really didn't feel like going because of the usual reasons and was also tired out from the work week :/ But it was okay since the girls were there :D Gotta wake up early tomorrow again): Monday, September 17, 2012
Had a great birthday this year(: Out with Yuen Yong, Annsley, Cheng Yee and Crystal Chee on Saturday. Went for training first before meeting up with YY and Annsley. Headed to PlayNation to play raving rabids! Fun + laughter(: Waited for the other two to arrive @ Pastamania before having dinner :D Was surprised with a card from YY! Homed first before heading out again. Had a fun time and it made my day(: First day of internship today! I was slacking the entire day, just familiarizing myself with the place, walking around and watching shows. Enjoyed the free tram rides :P Soon all the work will come. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF!(: Thursday, September 13, 2012
Training last Thursday. Celebrated Yuen Yong's early birthday last Friday!(: Went to get her cake and balloon with Crystal Chee before that. Had dinner @ HandBurger. Glad she liked her balloon. Although it was only the 4 of us there, there was so much laughter. Loved the jokes that evening(: YAAAAA, rushing for 1-for-1 and replacing the balloon :P   Went down to SAVA at LSR during the weekends. It was kinda weird not going down for a race after a long time :/ The wait was also boring except when we looked at the races. Visited the dentist and watched Step Up Revolution on Saturday too(: The visit was painful): The dances in the movie were great even though the storyline was predictable. The main lead was kinda handsome too :P Would rate it 3/5.   RPDB handover on Monday. Inventory check before going to Aifaa's house for some Hari Raya festivity(: Called for Mcdonald's and we all upsized and doubled hahaha :P Stayed there quite a bit just watching TV, chatting and laughing together(: Finally saw her cats too! :D Training on Tuesday. Haven't exercised in 2 weeks so I'm aching now): RPDB chalet later! Going for the BBQ(: Looking forward to seeing the girls later. Friday, September 07, 2012
Redang island getaway on Sunday with fam!(: Left on coach at night and arrived at the jetty in the morning. Had some Nasi Lemak for breakfast first. Boat ride took an hour to get to the place.
Day 1: Sea, sand, sky Was already greeted with tons of PRCs -_- Nevermind that they are PRCs, but imagine being surrounded by arrogant, rude and heavily accented people. Couldn't take it. Had our welcome drink and headed to our room after that. Watched some TV and explored the area. The beach was cool - white, soft sand and almost clear water(:   The sun was shining down on us and it was unbearably warm :/ Had lunch before collecting our snorkeling equipment. Saw the corals and fishes underwater(: And drank some seawater too :S Returned to the island and we went for some freestyle snorkeling ourselves. Was at the rocky area where I was cut by one of the rocks. Started bleeding like crazy :/ Dinner first before visiting the doctor and she bandaged my wound up. Bed time after a Johnny English movie. Kept waking up at night :/ Day 2: Rest and relax Woke up early for breakfast. Decided not to go for the other 2 snorkeling trips to the deep sea and another location because of my cut): Mum and bro went freestyle snorkeling at the beach. The sun was crazily hot that day. Was perspiring so much): Right feet was covered up with a plastic bag to prevent the sand and water from getting to my wound. Washed up after that(:  Lunch then we went to feed the koi and goldfish since no one really fed them. Back to the hotel room and we all ended up falling asleep :S Woke up and went to get some ice-cream(: Instead of walking around eating ice-cream we retreated back to our room to have it. Sat around using wifi and enjoying the live band after dinner(: Watched a movie before we retired to bed. Day 3: Home sweet home Breakfast before getting on the ferry to get back! Waited an hour for the coach to arrive. It was going so slow to get to our first break. Turns out the engine had some problems :/ Had to hop on to another bus. This bus was going super fast, overtaking other vehicles. Creepy guy seated in front of me was moving close to the girl beside him. I don't understand how her boyfriend can sit so comfortably on the solo seat and not mind it -_- Had fishball noodles for dinner at the last break. Bought my favourite tea egg too(: Finally arrived at the customs after a 9-hour ride and back to SG!(: Day 1, 2, 3: Movies we watched     We only watched Tron Legacy and Rise of the Planet of the Apes halfway though :/ Skyline was kinda scary but I felt that it had no proper ending. Would rate it 1.5/5. Mo Mo Cha kept repeating on one of the channels too since it was shot at the beach itself. Overall: Good - food, service, snorkeling, beach Bad - people (mainly PRCs) |
