Saturday, April 30, 2011 Had the SLA fair after school on both Wednesday and Thursday! Van's damn pro at convincing people to sign up hahaha :P POLITE gold cookie right there. Makes me want it even more for this year. As for school, I really don't understand why the grading is so strict now. I'm trying hard to do as much as I can and yet I end up getting some shitty grade. Really demoralizing. They might be looking out for the 'star' students but we're all here to learn after all, so don't our efforts count? It can be so unfair sometimes. On a lighter note I'm warming up to some of my classmates already(: Soon it'll be the rest! Training tomorrow. Year 1s are coming in soon!(: Monday, April 25, 2011 Just a quick update. Been having school for the past few weekdays. Training on the weekends. Worked yesterday. Tiring but I'm glad I made it :D Really can't wait for the class to warm up. Come on it's the 2nd week already! Week 1 grades have been demoralizing. Gotta step it up and achieve better grades from tomorrow onwards. Hoping tomorrow will be a better day(: Tuesday, April 19, 2011 Went for Min Ghee's birthday party on Friday with the girls(: Took pictures and fooled around. PA competition heats on Saturday. Could've gone home earlier but it kept raining + cat1 so it had to be postponed. Not once, but 3/4 times -_- So we warmed up 3/4 times too -_- PA competition semi-finals and finals on Sunday. Was glad we got through the semis(: Another boat crashed into us during the Mixed semis. The aftermath was chaotic. Became last although we were leading from the start. Shouting and vgularities filled the air. Thankfully we had a re-race :D Got through that round too. Finals were disappointing. Lost in both Men's and Women's categories. Achieved a 2nd in Mixed. Oh well. We'll train harder and come back even stronger and better. Was damn annoyed with the screaming and cheering after they finished. I understand the happiness but really?! It's just rubbing it into everyone's faces. Dinner with the girls after the whole event was great(: Felt really exhausted when I got home. School started yesterday and I'm still waiting for the class to warm up so that I can be more hyper around them :D Thursday, April 14, 2011 Tried to watch Love and Other Drugs (2010) on Saturday but stopped 1/4 through it. Guess it wasn't my type of movie hahah. Worked on Monday. Getting better I think(: Not as blur as last time but still blur sometimes. Whatever it is, just want it to go well each time. Ben N Jerry's free cone day with the girls on Tuesday!(: Training and lunch before that. Had a lot of fun as always :D Love the girls to the max(: Headed to school yesterday for the Freshman Orientation Programme (FOP) as a Game Master. Stayed out in the sun so I was badly sunburnt at the end): Dinner with Marion, Vanessa, Aifaa, Nazi and Esther after it ended. Laughed like crazy till my stomach hurt and jaw ached hahaha(: Felt extremely exhausted. Training was canceled today so more rest I guess? Oh and thanks Landy for the baggage tags! :D Thursday, April 07, 2011 Saw the Party Rock Anthem MV on Friday. The shuffling looks really cool :D It's tempting me to try learning it hahaha but remembering how I failed to do so for C-walking I guess this won't work out either :/ Watched 500 Days of Summer (2009) on Tuesday!(: At first I didn't really get why the girl decided to leave him when they've already done so much together so I went to read up on it. Felt sad for the guy who has to go through all the heartbreak but at least things start to look up to him again in the end(: Caught We Are Singaporeans with couz yesterday night before heading for supper with work colleagues :D Guess the guy had it easy, winning $10k. Like that I also want to join hahaha. So glad it's a break from training tomorrow although I'm going to join the family to pray to my great-grandmother(:
