For this card I started with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of black card stock and layered this with a slightly smaller piece of white card stock.  For the border on the left I used the B149 Cuties 1 die from Cheery Lynn Designs and layered this to the card.  I added another layer of black card stock lining up the edge to the border.  On a smaller piece of white card stock I stamped the 3020 Daisy Swag from SweetStamps.com using Nightfall Shades Dye ink, stamping in a diagonal pattern.  I stamped the image on another piece of white card stock and die cut a portion using the XMC4 Circle Window Little Stackers dies from Cheery Lynn Designs and colored the flower using Creative Inspirations paints Canary, Evergreen and Chocolate.  I traced the same Little Stacker circle on a piece of  black card stock and hand cut this circle.  I used foam dots to layer the two circles than attached the black circle to the card.  I added a small piece of the Cuties 1 next to the Daisy circle.  I stamped the 3024 Nice Daisy in Nightfall ink on a small piece of white card stock and attached it to the card.  To finish the card I added black brads to the corners and adhered it to an A2 white card.

Glitter Easter Egg

For this card I started with an A2 white card and used the DL191 Celtic Chain Rectangle Reflections die from Cheery Lynn Designs to cut the design on the front of the card (these dies are easy to work with  and easy to store and there are many different designs).  The egg was die cut using the DL210 Lace Egg Four  and the base for the egg is one of the corners from the B161 Lace Corner Deco A set ( I snipped off part of the corner piece to give it a flat bottom) both dies are from CLD.  To add the glitter to the egg, I used a piece of  2" Super Sticky tape, on the backside of the egg, trimmed it and then added the Sparkly Sweet Glitter from SweetStamps.com.  I put a piece of 36 lb vellum behind the egg and trimmed this out too and added some Candi fix foam dots to adhere the egg to the card.  I used a course pouncer and Forget Me Not and Fortune Teller Shades Dye inks to add some color to the front of the card.  I attached the ribbon to the card by weaving it through one of the open areas on the front and used a micro glue dot to attach the end of it to the inside of the card.  The bow was made using the Bow Easy ribbon maker.  On the right inside panel of the card I attached a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of lavender card stock to finish the card.

For this card I started with a 6x6 plaid paper from Authentiques Delightful collection.  I used the FD002 Fancy Die Oval from Nellie Snellen for the green frame.  This die set has 7 different dies, 3 of which have slits in them to add the flowers.  I used the largest oval to cut out the size oval I wanted, then used the next smaller size die with the slits to make it a frame.  The yellow flowers were die cut from the FD004 Lilly Shapes Fancy Die.  You form each flower by inserting 2 petals in each slot.  I used the next size oval to cut out the Cryogen White Sparkle card stock and stamped the 2018 Girl with Bunny from SweetStamps.com with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored her with Copic markers (Y23, YR21, YG03, YG11, R20, E000, E00, E31, E34 and e55).  I used the smallest oval in the set to cut out a piece of Cryogen White and stamped it with 992 Easter Greetings  from SweetStamps.com using Palm Grove Shades Dye ink and wove a piece of green ribbon thru the slots.  I layered this to a piece of yellow card stock and hand trimmed it than layered that to a piece of green card stock and trimmed.  The butterflies were die cut using the DFD008 Butterfly Double Fold Die from Nellen Snellen.  I cut 2 sets, one yellow and one green, then altered the colors before adhering the butterflies together.

All the papers for this card are from the Authentique Gathering 6x6 paper pack.  I started with the orange patterned piece, cut a border from the polka dot paper and used All Purpose Spray Adhesive to attach it to the card.  The oval was die cut using the Nellie's Multi Frame MFD007 and for the small oval I used the Nellie's Oval 3 Multi Frame MFD013.  For the folded corner I attached a piece of the polka dot paper to the backside of the card folding it over twice so the point is folded under.  Before adhering this layer to the front of the card I attached the brown side of the double sided ribbon, then tied another piece of ribbon around the first piece with the blue side showing.  I used a piece of the same cream patterned paper as the oval to make the corner of the card and added strips of Latte self adhesive pearls from Kaiser Craft.  I also used the same pearls around the small oval.  The image and sentiment are both from SweetStamps.com, the 3039 Blue Bells were stamped on cream card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored using Creative Inspirations paints, I mixed a little Turquoise, Sage and Fairy Dust together and used it to color the petals of the flowers, the centers were colored with Burnt Clay and then Raw Sienna of the top of that, the center of the flowers are colored with Chocolate and the leaves were colored using Sage.   The 9134 Welcome Spring was stamped using Brownie Shades Dye ink.  I used foam dots behind both of the ovals to pop them up from the card.

Bee Happy

For this card I started with a 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 square card that I embossed using the Crafts-Too EF3014 Dots embossing folder.  I used Honey Shades Dye ink direct to paper to color the dots and sponged the same ink around the edges.  The layers were die cut using Nellie's Multi Frame Stitching Square 1 MFD033.  The images are the 2021 Bee Happy DUO from SweetStamps.com.  The bee was stamped on Cryogen White Sparkle card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with the YR21 Copic marker and a Clear Stardust Gelly Roll Pen.  The sentiment was stamped using the 852 Word Frame DUO from SweetStamps.com on Cryogen White using the same inks as above.

Monochromatic Butterfly

At SweetStamps.com's blog today our challenge theme is Monochromatic.  Please join us for your chance to win $20 of FREE stamps by entering your Monochromatic creation in our challenge.

I made this card because of a conversation I had with one of our customers at our SweetStamps.com, Fowlerville, MI retail store.  She mentioned she hated having to pay extra postage when she mailed a round card.  So I came up with this.

I started with a lavender round premade circle card from The Paper Cut (you could make one by folding a piece of card stock in half and cutting out the circle, just make sure you extend the die slightly over the folded edge so your circles stay together to form the card).  I scored both of the circles down the center and folded them in towards the center.  After die cutting the DL103A Italian Flourish Angel Wing from Cheery Lynn Designs from a piece of Double Mates Lovely Lilac card stock I embossed it with a Crafts-Too EF3055 Scrollworks embossing folder then cut this piece down the center.  I layered these pieces to the front halves of the card embellished both sides with strings of self adhesive pearls from Kaiser Craft and flowers from Petaloo.  I used adhesive to hold the left side of the card together forming a half circle.

For the inside of the card I used the same Angel Wing and Embossing folder (using the reverse side of the Lovely Lilac card stock and adhered this to the right inside of the card.  The Medium Monarch Butterfly and Angel Wings were die cut using the DL116 and DL116A both from Cheery Lynn Designs.  I added Fairy Dust Creative Inspirations paint to the angel wings before attaching the die cut butterfly.  I used the same pearls as the ones on the front of the card on the butterfly.  I stamped 9110 Butterfly Kisses from SweetStamps.com onto the same Double Mates card stock using Forget Me Not Shades Dye ink from SweetStamps.com then used deckle scissors to cut the words out and layered them to the dark side to the card stock and trimmed with deckle scissors.

The finished card will fold together to form a half circle and is able to fit in an A2 envelope for mailing.

Rose Stencil

For this card I started with a 6x6 paper from the Bo Bunny Garden Girl collection for the base.  I used the Nellie's Multi Frame MFD040 for the corners.  The XL13 French Scalloped Flairs are from Cheery Lynn Designs.  The Rose is a stencil that I colored using the From the Vineyard chalk set using a Dove Blender pen.  I used Removable Tape to hold to stencil to the paper and used the Dove Blender pen directly on the chalk to pick up the color.  The large pearl brads are from Kaiser Craft and the ribbon is a layer of two different sizes of sheer ribbon with gold edging.
