Blue and Brown Easter 2013

For this card I started with the CS25 Center Step Die.  The other dies used were the DVW115 Spring Scenery, Cheery Lynn Designs B265 Build a Flower #3 Embellishments dies and the XL5 Scallop Circle stacker dies.  The stamp is the 950 Blessed Easter from SweetStamp.com stamped using French Roast Shades Dye ink.  The pearls are Kaiser Craft Chocolate pearl strips and the polka dot ribbon is from my stash.

Easter 2013

For this card I used the EF3067 Flower Bouquet Crafts Too embossing folder.  The water colored card was one I had from Hero Arts from many years ago.  The stamps are from SweetStamps.com, 992 Easter Greetings and 950 Blessed Easter.  Ink is Deco Coral Shades Dye ink and the dies on the inside are the MFD014 from Nellie Snellen.  Pearls are Mango from Kaiser Craft.

Lattice and Egg

For this card I used the FRM133 French Lattice Large, DL213 Lace Egg Seven and B154 Medium Rose dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.  I followed the directions for Stacey's Sparkling Stained Glass Technique but substituted Sugar Beads for the glitter and did not color the backside.  The flowers are made from tissue paper.

I added pearls to the egg and the corners of the yellow paper.

I finished the inside using 949 Happy Easter stamped in Forget Me Not Shades Dye Ink both from SweetStamps.com. and B170 mini Flourish One from CLD.

Glitter Easter Egg

For this card I started with an A2 white card and used the DL191 Celtic Chain Rectangle Reflections die from Cheery Lynn Designs to cut the design on the front of the card (these dies are easy to work with  and easy to store and there are many different designs).  The egg was die cut using the DL210 Lace Egg Four  and the base for the egg is one of the corners from the B161 Lace Corner Deco A set ( I snipped off part of the corner piece to give it a flat bottom) both dies are from CLD.  To add the glitter to the egg, I used a piece of  2" Super Sticky tape, on the backside of the egg, trimmed it and then added the Sparkly Sweet Glitter from SweetStamps.com.  I put a piece of 36 lb vellum behind the egg and trimmed this out too and added some Candi fix foam dots to adhere the egg to the card.  I used a course pouncer and Forget Me Not and Fortune Teller Shades Dye inks to add some color to the front of the card.  I attached the ribbon to the card by weaving it through one of the open areas on the front and used a micro glue dot to attach the end of it to the inside of the card.  The bow was made using the Bow Easy ribbon maker.  On the right inside panel of the card I attached a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of lavender card stock to finish the card.

Easter Greetings

At SweetStamps blog today our theme is Easter.  Please join us for a chance to win $20.00 in FREE stamps by entering your Easter creation in our challenge.  If you enter using a SweetStamps stamp you will be entered twice in the drawing.

For this card I started with a 6x6 plaid paper from Authentiques Delightful collection.  I used the FD002 Fancy Die Oval from Nellie Snellen for the green frame.  This die set has 7 different dies, 3 of which have slits in them to add the flowers.  I used the largest oval to cut out the size oval I wanted, then used the next smaller size die with the slits to make it a frame.  The yellow flowers were die cut from the FD004 Lilly Shapes Fancy Die.  You form each flower by inserting 2 petals in each slot.  I used the next size oval to cut out the Cryogen White Sparkle card stock and stamped the 2018 Girl with Bunny from SweetStamps.com with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored her with Copic markers (Y23, YR21, YG03, YG11, R20, E000, E00, E31, E34 and e55).  I used the smallest oval in the set to cut out a piece of Cryogen White and stamped it with 992 Easter Greetings  from SweetStamps.com using Palm Grove Shades Dye ink and wove a piece of green ribbon thru the slots.  I layered this to a piece of yellow card stock and hand trimmed it than layered that to a piece of green card stock and trimmed.  The butterflies were die cut using the DFD008 Butterfly Double Fold Die from Nellen Snellen.  I cut 2 sets, one yellow and one green, then altered the colors before adhering the butterflies together.
