London Fashion Week SS16: Day 4 Outfit

Just in case you're wondering what happened to outfits for day 1,2 and 3 of London Fashion Week - apologies I had back to back shows and forgot to pose for an outfit shot. Plus when I did remember I was looking a bit worse for wear.

Anyway here are the details for day 4 outfit:

Here I am chatting with the lovely Pandemonia - a conceptual artist who makes all her own latex clothes and does her own hair! Day 4 she wore a chic figure hugging trench dress in classic cream.

I went for a bold black and orange figure hugging dress from House of CB www.houseofcb.com
with a Uniqlo Heattech black t-shirt underneath

The khaki bomber jacket (above image) was from American Eagle Outfitters

Brolly courtesy of ON/OFF LFW - much needed as did it rain!!!

The ankle boots are Vanity Boots from Hotter. Direct link:

Price £95 and also are available in plum and chocolate brown

Amy Childs Launches her SS12 Fashion Collection

Amy Childs launched her SS12 fashion collection at Camden's Gilgamesh bar this week with Amy herself strutting her stuff on the catwalk..
Black netting peeps out from underneath this white 'Marilyn' ponte skater dress with skinny black patent belt. This dress is available now on Amy's website www.amychildsofficial.co.uk at a price of £55.

After an introduction from Peter Andre, the models and Amy came out in a monochrome summery theme of polka dots and stripes.

The first sign that this was going to be a collection of bright colours was the touch of coral into the black and white mix.

The collection has a varied range of styles to suit every fun loving girl.
Skater Dresses

These flirty skater dresses came in block colours and my favourite the daisy print on a navy background.
That's TV presenter Lizzie Cundy on the front row wearing Amy's 'Victoria' shift dress in ivory.

Micro body con dresses

Simple on the front these micro body con dresses revealed sexy cut out backs.
Or adorned with ruffles following the curve of the body - on the catwalk in fuchsia but also in white as worn by one of the celebrity guests- Kerry Katona

Knee Length Pencil Skirt Dresses
.
Figure hugging but longer in length. The above 'Bridgette' dress has the 80s power look and is available online now in mint or coral . Price.£65

The on trend peplum accentuates the curves of the hips on some.

Whilst lace softened the look on others. Here Amy is wearing 'Lola' in dusty pink. Price £65.
Lola is also available in navy as shown above with the 'Vintage Lacey' dress in cream

Maxi Dresses
From the dreamy floaty chiffon style maxi dresses just right for a romantic walk on the beach...
....to the Versace like printed 'Isabelle' maxi available online for £60 in turquoise or fuchsia.

Another Versace like look could be seen with the gold studded embelishmentss:

The 'Vera' ponte skater dress shown above in white. Price £60 and also available in lime and black.

And the 'Janice'dress seen on the catwalk in black and white with celebrity guest Danielle Brown choosing the vibrant  lime. Price £65

Shorts and Playsuits
The playsuits had a Hollywood 40s feel with their wide short shorts, sweetheart necklines and halter neck ties .

Absolutely adored this combo of coral shorts and chiffon style sleeveless blouse.

Leisure wear in leggings and slouchy tees.
But we're still talking glam with wet look leggings and sequin scattered tops.
Amy wearing a 'Well Jel' tee.

Sequins Galore
And for the ultimate party dresses the sequins came out in full bedazzling force

Some of the collection is available now on her website  www.amychildsofficial.co.uk
with the others available to pre-order.

EVEAE WEST AW11 collection by EGYPT at London Fashion Week

Egypt, the designer, came on the catwalk in a tight body skimming cat suit of purple metallics and belted out a song. A great start to the show.
Definitely catering for the young who like to party all day and night.
Lots of tight figure hugging lycras in attention seeking blues,
oranges,
hot pinks,
silver and gold.
And when lycra wasn’t used chiffon in the guise of ruffled flowers covered the dresses in paler softer hues of pinks and creams.
But don’t be fooled by this ethereal take as the dresses were backless, hemlines short and necklines plunging. Here Egypt wasn’t following the rule of only show off your legs or boobs – and if you can’t break the rules when you’re young when can you?
Definitely not my taste now but my much much younger self would probably have been first in the queue for one of her metallic body con dresses
