only 7 more days!

It is only 7 more days before i end my 7.25 months long internship! It almost felt like i was a permanent staff working in the company!

Theres so many things one can experience once someone immerses into a company culture long enough. So many things one will observe. Working culture, working ethics and even politics. It has been such an interesting and colourful 7 + plus at TH.

****************

Life has been so busy with my running everywhere to meet timelines, dates, etc that i hardly am aware of what im doing. Time flies and i've no idea what i've actually accomplished over the past 7+ months. Let me try to type a list:

1. Successfully "finished" (or almost finishing) internship
2. Got to know more people and spoke to more people in the PR and advertising industry
3. Set up Singapore's first and only wholly student-run Advertising Agency, ADdiction
4. Handed over more responsibilities to more juniors in ADdiction in hope of passing on the legacy
5. Sourced and finally found 2 profs to co-supervise my FYP project. At the same time, managed to convince my dear friends to join in the FYP as a group. Definitely nt a one person effort for this.
6. Managed to survive through almost 2 yrs with my sweetie dew. and still managing to grow strong
7. Completed my japanese beginner 2 and struggling to keep up with intermediate one, with intentions of going
8. Watched a transition "cycle"
9. Successfully participated in 2 media conferences
10. Travelled to omg "only genting" for the past 7+ months (this is pathetic.)
11. Got my first "Coach" wallet! wee!!! Thanks to sweetie dew!
12. Signed up for my CDP accounts and trading account with POEM
13. Had countless conference calls at work
14. Had countless headaches due to working with uncooperative vendors
15. Ate many buffet dinners (thanks to sweetie dew's family)
16. Attended my first charity dinner for Noah's Ark and won a free buffet dinner for 2 at Grand Copthorne
17. Attended my first high class talk session on some policy thing at Fullerton Hotel and for that first time, dining never felt so stressful. I had to make sure i was using the correct fork n knife and had to make sure i would chew and chop without making too much noise
18. Shed tears over the club i built up with my friends because i was over-passionate about it
19. Had my very first LCD TV in my room! (with DVD player! shiok!)
20. One of the first times im looking forward to sch starting
21. Never felt so passionate about studying before.
22. Signed up for Amore and for once, there were ppl saying that i lost weight! omg! (but opps, am going to gain back in the next couple of weeks because i would be too busy with no time to go to gym)

Ok. the list is starting to wear thin. This is what i feel are the most significant happenings in my life for the past 7+ months. How about you? what r yours?

finally, i can take a short breath

The month of june has been a mad rush for me. So was the month of May.

I did not blog for more than a month! oh gosh.

I wonder if there are still many people reading the blog.

Anyway, i find it amazing i can still manage to keep up all my energy with every single commitment i have! I've been multitasking. Though enjoying it, i m starting to feel my wear and tear.

My current commitments:
1. Internship (Things are starting to get busy especially with TR season in!)
2. FYP - gosh. the meeting with govt officials made us all go running all around for information all over the world (literally!)\
3. Japanese lessons - shit. already the 5th lesson of my intermediate class and i have not touched the homework yet! i'll work on it tmr!!
4. ADdiction - clients to meet, deadlines to handle , proposals to draft. i seriously need to start delegating. i love delegating!

So anyway, just had a meeting with MCYS today, im not telling what we're going to do yet. or at least, not on the blog. It went well and im proud of my team. Despite all the troubles we faced, we managed to pull through and they were impressed with us! thank you guys for all the hard work put in.

and.. ice age 3 is out! and this time, i am determined to watch the 3D version of Ice-age. i really want to catch that!!!!!

As of now, because i have too many commitments, im really taking one thing at a time. step by step. its the only way for me to go. and finally, for a few days, i can sleep before 3am.

*****************

I think im getting increasingly influenced by the working culture and their so called atas life. im beginning to love branded products and love eating good food at expensive restaurants. oh gosh. this is bad. =(

And i have to adapt back into a student lifestyle in less than 2 months. arghhh! teach me how!
