Had a great time with Derrick for the past week and i m soooo not looking forward to the start of school again. how i wish time will stop and we can just see each other everyday.

This week is going to be one hell of a week. i'm looking forward to this friday, where all the nightmare quizzes will end.

I realised i applied for the university that required the most documents to be handed in.
- transcripts
- written academic reference (no other unis need that!)
- application letter
- etc etc etc which i cannot remember.

There are simply so many things to do that i m so afraid i would end up screwing one of them up.

There are mixed feelings when it comes to INSTEP this time. I used to see myself looking forward to the programme in the case that i get selected. but now, there are just somethings i dont want to leave behind in singapore. i hope u'll wait for me.

TALKING TO PEOPLE WITHOUT INHIBITION

While waiting for Business Finance Lecture yesterday, i met a friend from hall 9 at Canteen B. We did not use to be close and were never close.

I used to have this thinking that no matter who it was , if this person is from hall, we must always keep ourselves safe and speak carefully. Hall life was always full of politics, and what not. But i realised now that i'm away from all these (think of all the things i gave up!) i realised i find it much easier to speak and associate with people truthfully and sincerely. To think simply and act simply when facing these people used to be a tough thing to do. but now, i realised the act of just simply wanting to catch up and really wishing your friend well can make you feel very much satisfied and much better at the end of the day.

I guess the thing i've learnt after moving out of that damned hall is that i can treat people much more sincerely now as i have no ulterior motives. its not that i used to have any, but because of the fact that you know many others who speak to you in hall speak to you with a motive behind their backs that you tend to hold back during interaction.

Ever felt like that?

I realised i learnt a lot over the past year in ntu and i think i have grown much more. but, there is always things to learn and we should never be complacent and stop there.

gosh.. its only been like 15 hours since we last seen each other and i miss my bf alr!!!!!!!!! =(

arghhh.. i badly need to lose weight because i m sooo off form now. i need to limit my indulgence and stop all that snacking!!

But when one is stress, one tends to indulge rite?

gosh.......

=( i'm so super fat now.. i tink i gained 10kg over the past few weeks..

i m soooo fat. sooo fat... soo soo soo fat. all the fats are jiggling about like nobody's business. why m i not a belly dancer? i think i would make a great belly dancer!!!

Cathryn's CCA record for hall just got removed. or put in worse words, STRIPPED.

Thanks to... some people who just have nothing better to do despite having left the university and have graduated. Perhaps for these people, they could not find jobs due to their inferior attitudes and have nothing better to do. So, they have no where else to go except to seek solace in their past. Their previous hall of residence where they enjoyed the glitz, glamour and glory. Living in their past, getting stuck between whats fantasy and what is real. These people simply leech on the happiness of others and love to see others suffer.

All they know to do is to use their finger to point accusations. Mindless accusations where they think they know best. They think they are big brother (ref to orwell).

They think they are superior when actually they suffer from supreme inferior complexity resulting in a condition that they live in a trance. They have in fact no idea of what is in reality and suffer from being able to differentiate themselves from their schizoprenic personalities. Now that their true colours have revealed and that they have caused some to suffer in replacement of them, we have come to realise that such inferior beings are indeed a waste of our time to blog about them and to feel sad because of what they did to us.

BUT... i shall still address this issue in a rightful manner and not engage in their silly tricks and underhand methods just to pull me down. listen up you imbeciles! All you nincompoops. Cathryn aka Mei Qin will not falter under you. And she is not going to be affected by your actions. your actions have not resulted in the desired consequences and she is blogging not because she is affected but because she feels a need to address this issue.

So anyway, for those who do not know what really happened during my biz mag term last yr, please make clear of the situation before you jump into conclusions. Of course, it would not be wise of me to blog about the incident here and it could result in even more unfavourable consequences. Thus, i urge those who want to make clear of what is happening to step up and approach me directly. Dun be hum chi.

Cathryn is not affected and she is in fact thankful of what has happened. because it has shown her the true colours of people and made her a little more cynical towards life. but being cynical isnt bad. it helps her prepare for whats to come in the future.

Gosh.. i really am clueless about accounting n biz finance!! i m so going to fail this semester.

i just finished an accounting lecture and i m feeling so terrible about it.. i dont understand a single word.. yes. i have repeated this line many many times and i can warn everyone that...... this is not going to be the last. so.. friends, endure with me.

i'm at COM 255 Lecture now and its a really brainless lecture. Let me show you how our lecture is like!!

What is theory?
- A set of ideas which explains something
- A informed conceptualization to explain… (as below)
- An informed explanation to explain a phenomenon, an idea, a reality, a formula etc
- Definition – to spell out, to make clear, to illustrate, to show
- Proposition
- Theories help us understand phenomena


As you can see.. the only difference between the various points are..
