first day of work.. is COOL... very fun! hee.. got to call companies, apply on job street, email, print , fax, receieve resumes! cool.... i love looking at resumes!!!

haha.. though,.. i was only supposed to look at them tml i looked at them today liao. hahaha..

i'm quite happy today coz i m finally employed. finally.. went for an interview today and got in! anyway, the office would be at raffles place clifford centre..
*guess what! its right beside my dearest caltex house!!!!*
arghhh.. nvm.. i shall fantasize while working that i am working in the caltex hse rather than clifford centre. =)

anyway, the working environment is a rather small one and i was taken by surprise the boss was keen to hire me. =) coz i tot they were only looking for perm staff! i din noe temp positions would gain a chance too. its something like a recruitment consultant but i'm not sure what the exact title is. will tell u guys again once i noe.

This job is a bit diff from the ones some others are doing at another co. coz.. it requires me to look for my own /( or for the company ) cilentele base. so.. yea... a bit of sales and telemarketing side.. but an interesting job!(i certainly hope!)well, we all must admit all jobs would have their boring sides too. but if we dun get used to it, we will never be able to do well.

anyway, went to thai express to eat today coz someone demanded a treat from me. c! haven get pay must treat ppl alr.. HAI......

today was a bad day. everyone shld nt learn from me anymore. its not too good to have too many choices coz u'lkl be spoilt for choice and its really terrible . i feel so sucky n yucky.

lets talk abt happier things. abt today, i'll elaborate another day.

anyway, last sunday was our fifth month together! yipppeee!!=)

and guess what my dearie gave me?!

he gave me a damn cool white gold bracelet with cute little diamonds on it! very sweet right?

but i currently dont have a picture of it with me now if not i will show u all kk? heex.. all these are the only things that are keeping me going..

my stupid experience today, i realised.. is not caused by my stupidity or anything. its not. its caused by greed. i should not have been too greedy to go for 2 job interviews and got into both of them. arghhh.. nvm. dont feel like explaining abt them now. shall explain another day.

yoz.. haven been blogging for a while..

today, i'm gonna blog about my sunday trip to the white tangerine cafe.

the name might sound familiar to some of you as this cafe had appeared on tv a few wks ago regarding its floats, fondue, waffle with ice cream, etc right?

yeah.. so, i was of course curious as to why.. a cafe located in a community centrw ould suddenly become so famous.

you know, normally community centres cafes are like very lok kok one.. but this one isnt..

In fact, it even screens EPL matches every saturday ( if i did not remember wrongly.) and it has outdoor live singing performances every weekend too. cool right? i think it is a great place to chill out.

there's like indoors and outdoors dining. the weather at night is not too bad for considering outdoor dining as me and my dearie sat outside for 45mins waiting for seats. I seriously wouldnt mind waiting even longer because the atmosphere and the music is simply so nice.

yup yup.. and finally when we got a table, we went in and ordered......

Chocolate fondue ($6.90 for two! so cheap!) and 2 root beer floats ($3.80 each i think. )

that was enough to occupy our tummys for dessert already. =)

and we stayed there from around 8 plus to until 1030..
the cafe wasd not boring at all.. there were a wide variety of boardgames that we could play while waiting for our food or even when eating.

And guess what we oplayed??

** disney version of monopoly!**

cool right? i tyhink i prefer the disney version than the normal one coz the normal one is like so serious like tt.. no fun at all.. i really enjoyed playing the disney version. i have never played much of monopoly when i was young becuase i have never really gotten the chance. most of the time, i only played Game of Life when i was in my cousin's house. i miss playing game of life! i think its much more fun and interesting than monopoly . so i think.. when i earn enough money, i'm going to buy game of life! preferbly by this yr! yeaH!!

den i can bug everyone to play with me. heex...

disney monopoply was at first quite smooth sailing for me.. we bought land and houses. then dearie was lucky enough to buy the expensive land.. in disney's case, it was "101 dalmatians and something else.)

so he went on to build houses etc.. so that, if i stepped on his land, i would have to pay rent of $2000!!

so guess what.. i kept rolling and rolling the die... (there was only one k..)
but i never never never ever hit that spot. (yeah!)
so he was so sad and devastated that his investment had somewhat gone to waste.

so finally it was around 1020 already.. and we were like.. "kk.. lets pack up and go and finish this game with another one more roll each. )

so he rolled..

and then.. i rolled.. heex..

guess what? i rolled to chance... (which in that disney's case was... proceed to 101 dalmatians)
omg.. how unlucky was i.

i thought that i was so lucky that i was able to avoid the 101 dalmatians place throughout the whole game!!! but guess what?! at my last final point... i did not... i could not.. i could not avoid paying rent of $2000.. which, took up the majority of my assets..

haish.. his investment did not go to waste after all....

hello ppl.. guess what man.. some of u might have heard this already while some of you probably have not..

i've been retrenched. hahaha...

c.. at a young age of not even 19.. i've been retrenched.

but nvm, i'm not very disappointed. it is not as though i was super passionate about that job either, given, the very mcuh differential treatment given to the more experienced and seasoned workers and to the less experienced, newer ppl.


nonetheless, it was a great experience which would do me much good in my resume.

so dont worry.


i bet none of you have ever been retrenched right? haha.. coz too many temps liao.. now, i think there should be less than 10 temps in the office liaox.. hee...

nvm,.. i'll look forward to more!! and right now, i'll just concentrate on slacking.
