i passed my basic theory test! yeah!!!! now i can apply for my advanced as well as my probational driving license! yipppeEE!!!!



anyway, guess what? i went for the e-trial first and completed it in 15mins. then i went for another try again, attempting the sanme few questions coz i wanted to be reassured.

then it was the real test.. n guess whats my computer staion no. ==>> 44

and guess whats my password? 4004

*note: these stuff r invalid after the test and thus can be revealed.

haha. m i unlucky? or what?

haha.. so funny rite? i was like shocked when i saw my paper telling me which station to go to take the test.
was it a sign telling me that i have would be failing this test? oh no.. it'll be drop dead embarrassing to fail the test..

but anyhow, ipassed and thats the reason to celebrate.


ayway, i think i'm PMSin. so if i talk to u rudely or bluntly, it is because i m PMSin. BUT thats not the real reason. the real reason is becasue, i will; only be rude to u unless u were rude to me first ok!

and yes, there's no point in keeping things i dun like or are rude to me around me! shoo!

anyway, i m very tolerant alr lor.. if i were not, how would i be able to endure stupid phonecalls by ppl who call the hotline or by ppl whom i have to call to bug them to give back and fill in their compulsory surveys which are bounded by the law and that they have to pay $1000 dollars.
i m very polite n nice alr lor!

to make myself happier with some cheap thrill , i got talent scouted again after one lng yr! yeah! haha. doesnt that sound bimbotic?hahaha...

but yeah... no la. nothing thrilling but just something to lighten up my mood a little. hehehe..
this person spoke like a motor train.. and was like hi.. blah blah blah... n i couldnt catch what she said until the part where she said, "our agency is located in orchard . would u like to leave me your name n contact no. so i can .. blah blah blah.." hahaha..

yeah.. i have my dreams of becoming famous n rich and pretty etc etc etc. who doesnt?

but i dont think u'll be the one who will allow me that dreams. in fact, i think instead, u'll make me a very very poor person. because of the amount of money which i predict u would continue to intro to me if i did not say "no. thank you."
packages like..., portfolios, makeovers, auditions.. u think all these no need money one is it? ahhaha...

AN ENTRY ON PEOPLE I'M IRRITATED BY

i woke up not feeling very hyper today so i decide to sit down and blog about some stuff i dont feel very good about. other things i'm supposed to blog about will be postponed to another day coz i do not want to ruin the entry with any cynical thoughts.

told myself this morning to either go jog or swim, but was too lazy to do either of them. hehehe.. and bessides , i woke up at around 9plus. sun is out. thanks to my skin condition which has been giving me lots of problem, i could not do anything after 830am. so yeah. here i am, sitting and blogging, and at the same time, accumulating fats.

min huey said she can sell her fats (if i did not rmb wrongly). well, i think i can donate fats. coz too much excess supply. no need to even wait til ppl buy. if you want, i can give it to you willingly. hehehe

dont complain to me that u need the fats coz maybe there's something wrong with your stomach. you have worms or smt. so thats not my problem. my problem is.. i want to get rid of the fats. i dont give a damn about anyone's lack of fats ok. hahahaha

ok. i'm talking rubbish.

let me talk about something else.

in case you dont know, the place i live in has been recently "revamped" to be called mini-chinatown.

haha.. chinatown my ass.

why do i put " " to the word revamped?

coz.. no.. they did not pull down everything. they pull down one freakin market and rebuilt the market building. and guess what they call it ? (according to my parents)

its called .. hainanese market (if i'm not wrong)

hainanese market my foot. haha..

everything that they sell is exactly the same as before. And mind you, before means when i started living there. Which also means, when i was so young, as young as an embryo. coz i have not shifted in my entrie freakin life.


the only hainan thingie i see there is like.. Hainanese chicken Rice. so much for being a hainanese market.

Then guess what? chinese new yr is around the corner and they are trying their BEST to liven up the freakin atmosphere.

guess what they do??

they provided us with freakin surround sound system . thanks a lot. most of the time when i watch movies , i'll be like WOAH... when i hear about the technology of surround sound. But not this time. never this time.

because guess what?

they put LOUD.. and i mean LOUD as in you cannot hear your TV when u on to about close to 3/4 of your maximum TV volume.
And guess hat we poor residents have got to do?

we have to close our balcony sliding door and close our windows so as to prevent even louder "noise " from coming into the house. and this would, at the same time, deprive us of ALL THE AIR WE NEED.

and whats the most ironic thing about this loud music is not about just solely the music.
Its about how inconsiderate some people can be.

Not sure if any of you can remember about one Jack Neo movie (then again, i wonder if ppl my age actually watch his movie ).

it was my mum who reminded me of this scene actually.


Anyway, there was this scene in one of the Jack Neo's movie where they filmed it at basement of the block. you noe, HDB flats, there is an empty basement where ppl have funerals there? yeah..

in this scene, there was a funeral and a wedding going on under the same block.

haha.. omg. so scary right?? but there's just in a show /movie (i told myself. )


guess what? something somewhat similar happened near my house.

As i told you, they were like blasting LOUD CHINESE NEW YR MUSIC into our homes (for what reason? i dunnu). and guess whats happening at the block opposite my house?

a funeral. can you believe this?

it seemed as though the funeral music had to try so hard to overcome the chinese new yr music.
i feel that they ought to do something about it. and the people who ought to do something about it is the people who suggested blasting loud chinese new year music into our homes!

Yes, i must admit that i cant stand people blasting loud music into my home. but i must say that i can tolerate such stuff. but what i cannot tolerate, is seeing people on one side, grieving our their loss of a kin while other people on the other hand, are so inconsiderate to blast music (chinese new yr songs somemore) into their ears.


mind you, the music is not played by just some normal pasar malam ppl but played as a stereo system which they implanted near a tree near my flat.



this is so inconsiderate. cant they just toleratew a few more days and allow thre funeral to be over and then play the chinese new yr music?
and then, i wont give a damn about it anymore coz i wont be in singapore for the chinese new yr ( as usual ) .


i think these people ought to wake up! and open their eyes to see what is going on around. instead of just blasting music so that they themselves ( i guess shld be old old ones ) can enjoy.


yeah. anyway, i feel so good after ranting soo much and scolding people in my blog. wah... i feel.. very refreshed right now and m happier already. though stil the same. hahaha.. but nvm. there's something more to look forward to towards the end of the day! =)

3 mths celebration!

hee.. =) we met after both our work and he told me he would be late.. bcoz... haha.. his boss last min got stocks come in n he had to take stock.. haha.. n told me to wait at carrefour for his bro hu needed to pass him something. and guess what? my cute little sweetie instead suddenly came up to me to "scare " me. hehe. so cute.. n i really tot his bro was looking for me and i was like staring at all the office guys wondering which was his bro. hehe..

DAY 7 OF EGYPT TRIP


morning: those who went to Abu Sinbel, went to Abu sinbel. iwanted to go!! but since it was an optional tour, my dad rejected it. arghhh..
his reason: Too dangerous coz its a domestic flight.

i think. the actual reason: too expensive. waste of money.

so instead, we went to the bazaar in Aswan to shop shop. but we did not buy much because, once u have shopped at one bazaar, the rest seriously look the same to me.

so after those that went to Abu Sinbel came back, we visited the unfinished obelisk.
An obelisk is like an erected long pillar..
in this case, its called an unfinished obelisk becuase there wrere some problems during the building of it so they left it there becuase if continue building, the thing will collapse in the future.

Kom meaning city and Ombo meaning gold..

Anyway, at night, we went back to the cruise where we had a bingo game. yeah.. no luck. i dint win anything at all.. my dad was luckier. he won "best loser". hahayha...

its like the last segment of the game and everyone has to standf up. when any no. on your card is called, you would have to sit down. so the one remaining standing is the best loser. there were like 3 best losers in total.. and each got a bottle of Heinekein Beer. our family doesnt drink. so we gave to someone sitting at the same table as them. lucky them..


DAY 8

Rise and shine! we had a horse carriage ride in the morning. and NO i was definitely NOT excited about it at all. Coz its like animal abuse... do you know how sad the horses look? they're like.. so.. underfed... But we had no choice as it was meant to be that we had yto take a horse carriage ride to Edfu Temple.
yeah.. you might start to think i'm contradicting myself here coz earlier on the few days , i was so excited about camel-riding.. but now, went it came to horses.. i get so... i dunnu.. "animal-rights" righteous.
right?

and yeah.. you're gonna say like.. Horses traditional role back in ancient times where also as a means of transportation what.. so were camels.. so why you draw the line btw camels and horse?

well, i have no reason or so to justify myself and see no reason in doing that. so .. dont ask me k.. i dunnu why..

but anyway, the camels there look rather happy. i'm glad that my kind are feeling happy in their hometown. hehe

and... haha.. yeah.. i've went horseback riding, donkey riding camel riding etc etc.. and i stand up for their rights.. what does that make me? a contradicting person and someone who does not practice what she preaches. hehe.. okok.. i'm rambling alr..

sorry for the delay!!! will be continuing a bit of my day 6 today and then going to slp soon so that i can wake up tml early morning to give companies a call so i can quick quick find a job!!!

DAY 6 (CONTINUED)

After lunch, we continued to visit the high dams. these dams were built by the Russians to prevent the nile river from flooding as it was very prone to flooding last time.
Flood has caused the agriculture in those areas to be destroyed.
The high dam was not the first dam to be built to prevent the Nile River from flooding. The first one that was built was the English Dam. It was a small dam built by the English ppl when they first came to Egypt. However, since it was rather small , it was not very successful.

As for the High Dam, it was a huge project done by 3000 engineersfrom around the world. it took like 11 yrs to built and as it was built by the Russians, it is also called the Russian Dam.

Next, we took a motoreboat to go to an island called the Angelica (not sure of spelling) Island. there, there is the Temple of Philae.
Why is it not called angelicxa temple?

this is because, the philae temple was originally located at the Philae Island but becasue its conditions constantly became worse due to flooding by the Nile, the Egyptians cut the temple into thousnads of pieces and transported it over to this island instead and erected the temple there.
cool right? i think its incredible!!

my new yr resolutions??

hahx.. this is like one of the first yrs i have never thought of what are my resolutions.
anyway, this year is gonna be like a total diference to most of us.

for guys, you've got to shave botak n go NS.
for gals, we dont have to go to school anymore! yippe...! but.. we have to work.. (as for me, i dont have to .. coz i haven found a job.. arghhhh!)


anyway, let me contoinue with my egypt trip. before that, i gotta track back a bit coz i realised i did not dwld some beautiful pictures...

DAY 6

Rise and shine!!!

I woke up early this morning to "coup" toilet becuase each train carriage had only one toilet. this toilet is like shared amongst 10 rooms (each 2 ppl ).

Anbd guess what i saw? i saw the sunrise..

This sunrise is not the same as of in singapore becuase in singapore, the sky is too cludy. in Egypt, the sky is clear, and so, the sun you see is a reallyy bright and fiery one.




see, so different right?

But anyway, i realised..

It is not where or how you watch the sunrise, but who we watch it with.

Finally after a long overnight train journey, we finally reached Aswan, where we went into our presidential cruise . the ship's name is called Nile Ritz. It belongs to a line of cruise ships known as presidential nile cruises. Other examoples of line of cruises ar like those in singapore, like, Star cruises (msian de.)
so its like.. Nile Ritz, Nile Plaza, etc etc etc.

Upon reaching the cruise, we had a welcome drink, which is a hibiscus drink. haha.. everytime you step into a new hotel , they welcome you with the same drink. i think its lke their national drink or whatevr..


too early to check in. so, we went to take a Feluca ride first. A feluca is like a sail.
oh .. and anyway, people in Cairo look a little Latin-like, while people in Aswan, are much darker skinned. people in Cairo look like North indians (or is it south? --- you know, the fairer kind)
while people in Aswan, much much darker. (i think.. ermm.. ya.. you know what i mean right? hahha)
This is becuase the weather there is much hotter and also, they are nearer to the border of Sudan.

Wind/ breeze was great along the nile river. what is very calm, thanks to the High Dams.. (which.. would be mentioned later. )

this man, if yoiu notice, is not on the same boat as us. for thoise who haf been to thailand, its something like a floating market.. in our case, its not a floating market, its more of a floating store. haha.. coz it was the only one.. hehe.. so cute.. =)

they sell these instruments for 1 US dollar.

In the Feluca, i soon realsied that the people in Egypt are very smart.

This guy, someone in charge of the Feluca, started to teach us to sing, askin us to join in some kinda fun, which, he claimed was how the Numbians sang songs etc. The Numbians belong to somewhere calkled Numbia Island.

and then. he reached his ahand out to me.. asking me to join him by standing up and singing. OMG.. sooo embarrassing...

haha.. but i m very nice (haha.. ) so i just stood up to jopin in the fun. One old woman in our group was very enthusiastic and she sang really loudly. So he also asked her to join.

anyway, back to why he is smart. these people.. really smart n strategic.

after making merry and fun, he went into a small compartment of his Feluca to take out many pieces of costume jewellery to SELL.. smart rite? make people happy happy then ask people to buy.



furthermore, this only happened after the Feluca was brought far way from shore. I believe this could be partlly becuase it was not allowed for them to do such trading . but yeah, we ought to give him some credit for his strategic planning.


After the Feluca ride, we went back to the crusie ship while some of the tour people went for an optional tour at Numbia island. I wantewd to go to the Numbia Village... but... it required camel riding. i'm like totally OKAY with camel riding.. but.. all the adults in my family group hated it. so... arfghhhhhh.. and whats more? i'm the only "child " . the rest are all above tjheir 40s. c! C! thats the disadvantage of being an only child. you cannot get to do such stuff.. when u really wanted to. arghhhhh


Lunch time was on board Nile Ritx.

And i just realised.. Fresh Dates rocks.. (they are .. according to our tour leader, Egyptian Viagra. haha.. mean the natural ones. )


and i also mastedred something along the trip. i mastered drinking Lipton Tea without sugar. i think its not bad lor..


okie.. i 'm gonna stop here first.. there is like.. so many more pages on my book to write about day 6. it seems like it is the longest day out of all my 11 days.. hehe
