yo! i'm blogging again..


let me talk about the "trips" we made today for my birthday! hehe.. dearest dearest planned a surprise journey today. with various pitstops along the way.

general overall view of the day : though there were some "obstacles" we faced along the way, i still very much enjoyed it esp since i spent all these time with you.


well, first stop was off to suntec city where we watched "prime". haha.. coz i was wanting to watch that show (since it had sexual references.) but haish.. very ltttle references leh!!!! hahahahah...


following that, he brought me to a bus stop where we took off to an "unknown" destination..


which.. happened to be... west coast park..

in case ure wondering what for?

when we reached west coast park, we walked and walked and walked.. literally .. til the cows came home. which they never did. because we went in the wrong direction. thanks to someone who claimed that he had a good sense of direction.

all thanks to a jogger who told us we were walking in the wrong direction. we finally reached west coast park. though not in time to watch the sunset. which did not seem so important afterall. as it is the person who is with you that matters the most instead of the destination ure heading.

soon, it was dark.

he told me to go wait somewhere else and after a few mins, boo! he called me and i saw him holding a sparkler. soooo sweet rite? heex.. we had several excess left so we're gonna bring it for the chalet later. heex..


and then he stuck some of the sparklers on the floor and attempted to light some of them simultaneously. however, i only managed to capture only this picture ( c below.)

i went to ecp to run with him . so tiring! all in a bid to lose weight.

oh. before that, i used his weighing scale to measure tha fat percentage in me.

i'm 19% ful of fats. which is healthy ok!!!!!!!
he is 14% full of fats. hehe but thats because guys have no boobs.


and so we ran and ran.. till the cows came home. it was as though the cows nv ever wanted to go home and i could never ever end or stop running.

anyway, it was such a great day yesterday and i had to spoil it all. not going to elaborate on how i spoiled it. i spoiled my own surprise la. but nonetheless, everything turned out great too. we decided to watch a movie at 935. Zathura. not bad a show. but we could have watched prime if we bought the tickets earlier. prime has sexual references lor. hehe


ok. i'm beginning to sound like a sex obsessed freak. which, i'm NOT.


anyway, we counted down to my birthday. so sweet rght? hehe... love him so much. wish to spend every single birthday with him.


but anyway, i'm gonna meet him later in the afternoon. but not sure where we're going. since i ruined my own surprise, he had to quick quick think of a new one. hehe.. but he is so smart n witty, sure can come out with something good one!


and anyway, he is gonna bring digicam! so if i get the pictures i'll put them online for all to c kk.. hopefully he rmbs to bring la!!! oh.. did i mention? his digicam is very very very cool!! n sei!! hehehehe


class chalet is tml . testimonial day is tml too! i haven even packed my bag for chalet! very lazy to pack. and i dun have any shirts.. how? anyone got any to spare? if not i really m at my wits. hopefully i can go to the pasar malam later and get some nice nice 3 for $10 t-shirts. hehee

so the four of us ate dinner at jumbo restaurant at east coast. after which, we had rum and cherry chocolate cake which we had bought earlier from AWFULLY CHOCOLATE. it was DELICIOUS!! omg.. omg.. i love awfully chocolate cake! they should have put it under the top ten cakes on straits times today! i wonder why they did not . *.*


but anyway, so thrilling. this is like the first time i intro someone to my parents la. heex..



anyway, i'm getting fat again. so tml, we're going to run run!

at ecp. but not so far la. we should always start slow right? haha../ if not, we will die. or should i say, i will die. haha


oh yes. did i mention i bought my grad night dress alr? i realised i need fashion stickers. anyone has any to spare?

let's start off with the morning at 1130am when i went to do my hair. i went to dye it.

so after that.. his bro left. we cointinued on to lido and then to tangs..

where i saw my grad nite dress. super simple, yet elegant and nice.


din know whther to buy it or not yet. wanted to go far east to c c first.


so we headed on to far east..n we ate churros!!!

at far east. we saw this really nice casual blazer that suited him. not bad. wuite cheap too. but.. hmm.. nv buy.


i din c anything which was of my liking at far east.


so yeah.. finally, i decided to buy the dress at tangs. we we went back there AGAIN.

after that.. we went to cathay cineleisure to have dinner.. at like 8pm. haha'

we went upstairs to shop for a while and guess what?! we found him a ncie nice blazer.. but he say must bring his bro to see tml. so yeap! he is going tml and i HOPE he buys it coz he looks great it in. hehehe



we then rushed through all the crowds to make our way to plaza singapura. to get the puzzle frame so we could do jigsaw together. note. time was abt 9 plus ten. or ten plus alr.

but yeah!got ppl inside!!!


so we knocked on the door and bought our stuff. yeah!!!!


and finally we went back home.
finally, i reached home at ard 1050.. legs tired from shopping..



now.. for the interesting stuff..


it happened outside orchard mrt station. the one near borders. at the traffic junction.

1. THERE WAS THIS GUY WHO WAS SLAPPING THE FACE OF A CHINA GIRL (ARD THE AGE OF 20) REPEATEDLY. AROUND 5 TIMES.

it was as if it was totally intentional and we could see that it wad. everyone stopped and STARE. typical of human nature. it was like.. OMG... what kind of a guy is he. no matter what the girl do.. repeatedly slapping a girl is WRONG.

i guess the girl has done something to make the guyy really angry for him to do such a thing.

this is such a truamatic experience.



2. shortly after the couple fight, there was this group of "ANG MOS" walking toward the traffic light where we were waiting to cross the road.


about 3 female and 1 male.

they were tall, slim and beautiful. very much model-like.
and guess what was trailing behind them....

why SNAGS are lousier compared to MCPs

in case u dont know what SNAGs are... they are our sensitive new age guys. hehe


i was thinking of some reasons and i came up with a few.


*disclaimer: these are just my opinions on what SNAGs and MCPs are. of course you will find my views rather shallow and stupidly bimbotic. hehe.. but yeah. read if you wish. but dont get angry after reading. in case you're a feminist or smt. becuase i'm not.*

1. first, SNAGs are the reputedly guys who can cry.

guys who can cry are reeally sweet. but guys who cry all the time... ARE NOT.

i'm NOT feminist. so i still hold the traditional point of veiw that its always better that girls cry on guys shoulders instead of the other way around.

and its like so.. ermm.. funny. imagine seeing a guys sobbing on a girl's shoulder while you are walking along orchard road. weird isnt it?



2. SNAGs always give in. MCPs.. hold on to their veiws strongly.


hehe.. thats what i think la. to some, it might be true that you would like toi command the SNAG aropund bossing him to do everything you want. listening to your commands.


but soon enough, you'll get bored of it. it will always be what you want what you want and what you want. do you want such a situation??? i wont.



3. MCPs have EGO!!!

snags... uynfortunately.. in my opionion.. dont.


haha.. and.. a guy with EGO will always appear more masculine than a guy without.



4. SNAGS cross their legs like girls. hehehehehhe


i HATE guys who cross their legs like girls. esp if i;m sitting next to them and they're crossing their legs just like i cross mine.

anyway, regarding the egypt trip, i was asking yee chien for her experience in egypt. and she said that the tour people were saying that thre was once a tour group went to egypt. and theire bus was hijacked . the terrorist slit the throats of all the passengers on board the bus.



i was like.. OMG......... oh no.. what to do??

what more thrill can one ask for other than some time out for relaxation esp with your favourite hairstylist whom you can rely on.

i rmb that i used to cry after my haircut when i was young bcoz i was always dissatisfied with the hairsylist. well, right now, i guess i have found a really good and reliable one. and i dont think i will cry anymore after i do my hair. (i really pray so because it is super duper expensive after i have done all the calculations.)

Run and Run... Till the Cows Come Home...

Long overdue discussion but this is something about doing long distance running(aka Long D). These are based on facts, advices, training pointers and tips from sports coaches, pe teachers and books. However, different people even professionals may have different opinions on the same issues. But all roads lead to Rome, just different ways with different pace and rate of progression. The part on training can no longer be seen on the tag board so we can only discuss certain issues which i remember were discussed on the tagboard. Pardon the poor language due to the error typing as well as lack of time to check through the post.

1) Your heart is NOT STRONG enough for long D of 8-10km.

Long D like any cardio exercises, requires a really big heart. Many people died from heart failure as a result of activities too straining. Yes, you can die from Long D, sounds real scary....BUT WAIT!!! Most people who died were big fat obese couch potatoes in the first place. Nobody ask you to jump from your tv couch straight into your running shoes for a marathon. The heart is a piece of big bulky muscle. Like all other muscle groups, you do not suddenly push it so hard. You will need to slowly build it up with a proper training routine. Gradually increase your mileage. Anyway, 4-7km is considered only medium or at most medium long distance. I have not heard of any marathon runners who had died of heart failure yet.

2) For maximum weight losing effects, do not hydrate sufficiently before run.

Many trainers will advise you not to hydrate yourself so much before and during a workout. I will personally advise not to drink anything during the workout. This is not for any weight losing purpose but simply an act to develop mental discipline and physical tolerance of the adverse conditions. Though the process of hydration during a workout will probably be used as an excuse to rest by the participant and waste efforts of training. You need to do continous training for maximum results. Not run 2minutes, rest 5minutes and repeat the cycle over and over again. However, do take note that insufficient hydration can cause death. So exercise with precaution. SAF regulations requires all runs of 5km above to have water points along the route.

the standard of A lvls as compared to O lvls are like... comparing a mountain and a molehill.

though your birthday is like in 4 hrs time (its 8pm now) but nvm..

wish you first. hahax... so lucky! u can learn driving already!! i cant6 yet.. but dont worry.. i will the moment i turn eighteen.



anyway, studying. i'm totally SICK of it.

the only assurance i can give myself right now is that at least.. i dont have to think of math anymore in my life.. (except when counting money)
no nmore. no more math. i'm not taking science or math in uni (if i can get into any in the first place. )


i'm gonna like pump petrol for the rest of my life.

you know there has been recent new paper write ups esp on life! on the play "lao jiu"

they say its the first adaptatioon of Kuo Pao Kun's play ,"Lao Jiu"

but actually thats not very true. because we had acted out that play before back in 2002 or 2003. and i was part of it!

hahx.. but i guess its probably becasue it wasnt a big production and just a secondary school production and that is why they did not bother about it.

i mean, ya,. comeon.. who would bother abt a secondary sch production unless its from schs like, RGS, RI, and what not.



but yeah.,.. it took place at ngee ann poly auditorium(i think ) and i think it was a huge success. though some people say they copuld nto understand the play. well, the reason you cannot undertsnad the play is because , " you're simply not smart enough." not becuase the plot was complicating.


the plot was meant to stimulate people's thought about life and about following your aspirations but perhaps some people just could not get what the play meant and left half way during the interlude , which, i feel was terribly rude and irritating. because, ...:


1. we put in so much effort like months!! to come up with the play and you just.. LEFT.



2. you disrespect Kuo Pao Kun. thoiugh i'm not close or related to him, i think you still givehim utmost respect for being able to come up with a superb play.


3. you paid $$ and u have just wasted half of it. might as well give the money to the needy who wished to watch but did not have the money or chance to.


4. you've thrown your own face away.

you LEFT not because u're too high class for the play or whatsoever.BUT because you have no intellectual value in yourself. thus, you do not undertand the play..



probably because i'm bias because i've acted in it. but generally, the play was a huge success and i had a really good time in it.


which was why...

i wanted to go for the auditions for this current "lao jiu" play. it was advertised on the newspaper last yr in around oct. i bet none of you took note of it rite? haha.. but yeash.. uin the end i didnt becuase i tot i probbaly din have the time xdue to exams etc. and whats more.. the people who would be auditioning would be professionals.. and what m i? i just go there to throw face only. hehe


and for such stuff, my parents would be totally against it too.

even when i joined the production of lao jiu, they were like.. " wHAT! WHY DIN U CONSULT US BEFORE GOING FOR THE AUDITION?"

hahx.. because i knew you would object and also, i felt i had a high chance of getting into the play and if you hindered it, i might not be able to pursue my interest. ( not that its like my life or smt.. but its smt i like to do. )


so yeah.. lao jiu is a fantastic play and i feel like going to watch it. anyone wanna treat me to it? hahaha..

i just realised people all know so much about losing weight i feel very much like an amatuer when i read my blog entry now. haha.. but then again, i have the cuteness and naiveness of an amatuer. ahhaha.. jk jk..


anyway, lots of things happened yesterday. not really a lot la.


we went to marine parade park way to eat our dinner yesterday because it was drizzling.



then on our way into parkway, we met some people. not some. but MANY.


we met almost half the 29th student's council. haha..

then cute little him (omg.. shldnt be using that to descirbe him dont fit it at all.. ) went to wave hi to them. so i was thinkin, " oh .. he knows them, "


i was a bit too shocked to say hi back. haha.. and after a while, i then found out no.. he doesnt know them. haha.. okok.. i dont really know hoe to express my entry properly in this situation. so i'm gonna like.. leave it as it is. haha..


anyways.... dont ask me hows my rev coming along. because it sucks ,. dont mention studies, becoz it sucks.
