Shortened Week

Since Monday was a holiday, it felt like a Saturday. Tuesday felt like a Monday. Wednesday felt like Tuesday. Thursday was the last day of school. The kids were released early so, it felt like a Friday. Saturday (tomorrow) has so much going on that today (Friday) will seem like a Saturday, since that is typically our day to work in the yard.

I feel like I'm missing a day or two from this week and with so much to do, I could really use the extra time.

Now that the kids are out of school, everyday will seem like a holiday and I look forward to that.

Just a Minute

Savanah asked me to play with her this morning. I gave her the typical "wait just a minute" reply. It actually turned into more like five minutes, as I finished up loading the dishwasher. She returned to tell me a minute was only "this big" and it was time for me to play with her.

I love the way my kids remind me what is really important.

Back in Time

This has been a very busy week for us. Some days are so busy, I don't have time to write a post. The nice thing about Blogger is that I can edit the post date. I decided to change the date on my posts to fit which day an event actually happened, not the day I finally get a chance to write about it. Essentially, I'm going back in time. Wouldn't it be nice if we could really do that, just go back a day or two and finish up what we intended to do?
