Art Journey Challenge # 77: Zwart/wit met nog 1 kleur. Black and white and 1 other color

Deze maand was het thema van de Art Journey Challenge Zwart/Wit met nog 1 andere kleur. Toen ik mijn zwart-witte kaart af  had vond ik het eigenlijk al af maar moest nog 1 kleur toevoegen en dat vond ik best moeilijk. Heb het dus maar zo licht mogelijk gehouden. 

This months Art Journey Challenge theme was black and white with one additional color. When I was done with my black and white I was actually satisfied with the result, but then had to add one more color and that was difficult for me. I just added some light coloring.

Stamps used: All Art Journey: Houses & Towers; Eye's; Insects; Modern 2 mini and a part of a saying from the sheet Brushes & Pencils

Art Journey Challenge: Blue white

Deze maand is het thema van onze Art Journey Challenge Blauw/Wit.
Ik heb het heel simpel gehouden maar vind het eindresultaat wel leuk geworden. De rand komt van de sheet Tulips en de huisjes en tekst zijn van de sheet Houses & Towers.

This month the thema of the Art Journey Challenge is Blue/White.
I kept it rather simple but I so like the result.
The frame I made from a little stamp on the sheet Tulips and the houses and sentiment are from the sheet Houses & Towers.

Boekje werd huisje/ Book turned into a house

Bij onze vorige Designteam Get-to-gether gaf ik alle leden de onderdelen voor een zelf te maken boekje met de opdracht om er iets leuks van te maken. Alles mocht. We zouden de boekjes bij een volgende bijeenkomst ingepakt meenemen en dan zouden ze random uitgedeeld worden. Verrassing dus wie jouw "boekje" kreeg en van wie jij een kunstwerkje mee naar huis mocht nemen.

Nu had ik zelf al gauw het idee dat mijn boekje geen boekje ging worden, en na enig gepuzzel is dit wat ik er van heb gemaakt. Hoop dat jullie mijn huisje in een  huisje leuk vinden.
Heb binnenste huisje is gemaakt van de bladzijden die ik aan elkaar heb geplakt en in vorm gesneden. Het buitenste huisje is gemaakt van de kaften.

At our last Designteam Get-to-gether in 2014 I gave all members the parts of a do-it-yourself book and asked them to make something nice out of it. No limits, no restrictions. At a next get-to-gether everybody had to wrap their "book" and we would random give everybody a package. It was a surpise who would get your book and which book you got to take home with you.

I already had decided that my book wouldn't turn in to a book at all and after some thinking and measuring I made this small house in a house. This one tucked inside is made out of the pages of the book glued together and cut into shape. The outside house is made of the bookcovers.
