Well good morning bloggers and my last card as February guest designer at My Mum's Craft Shop It's short and sweet tonight as I am off work with flu *cough, cough splutter*...this week the focus is on My Mind's Eye and there is such a huge selection to choose from.

Checking out the wildlife...

Good morning sweet stampers.....thank goodness it's the weekend!!  What a long week this has been...so many queries to deal with at work but almost all sorted!!

So today's challenge over at Sweet Stampin' is "Mother's Day or a Special lady"....you might be thinking my card is not Mother's day and you'd be right....I totally forgot however I am still going to give it to my mum to give to her for her little trip she has planned with her hillwalking group....cos she will be checking out the wildlife...

Our sponsor this week is Hobbykutz who are giving one lucky winner a fabby surprise package and also The Ribbon Girl....so pop over to check it out.

For my card I have used papers from Prima Madeline collection which I layered onto bazzill card.  The wooden fence is from Hobbykutz.  The stamp is MFT A la Modes On Safari which I coloured with copics, I added a couple of punched butterflies, a binocular charm and a little flower to finish.

What...no colouring!

Good morning campers and my scheduled post...yes working again!!

So over at My Mum's Craft Shop there's some more inspiration this week with what's available to buy in the shop...here's my inspiration for this week.

I had been eying up this little tree for a while, as I do like trees but couldn't think what I would use it for...anyway I decided to go ahead and buy it and I am so glad I did...I just love it!!

I cut out a pale blue circle and embossed it, then layered it onto bazzill card and distressed around the edges. The cloud has also bee cut from blue paper.  The trees were cut from different coordinating green paper...oh and some doodling too!!

All dies are MFT die-namics...flat bottomed cloud, terardrop tree and the wonky scallop....you can buy them all from the shop.

sentiment - Stampin' Up
rhinestone - My Mum's Craft Shop

oooh another digi...

Howdy doody my fellow bloggers...did I tell you I am on holiday from work today...and I should really be doing some housework which I will do once I have got my priorities sorted.

So since I got so many lovely comments yesterday on my digi colouring, i thought I would do another!!  I have to say I can colour these more easily with pencils than pens!!  I have used papers from MME - My girl...which are just devine!!  The image is Alicia from Sugar Nellie and I coloured her with copics and then polychromos.  The flowers are die-namics trio die.  I added some pearls to the centres of the flowers and at the corners of the layers.

supplies:
papers - MME My Girl - My Mum's Craft Shop
image - Alicia - Funky Kits
pearl pen - funky Kits
polychromos - Hobbycraft

challenges:
Raise the Bar - anything goes
Charisma Cardz - anything goes

phew...at last

Hey sweet bloggers....at last I have managed a post today!!  now I have made several attempts at coulouring these beautiful digis from Sugar Nellie...but I am so rubbish at it!!  This was was my best effort and has taken me most of the day to colour but I have to say that I am quite pleased with it given what the others looked like!!

So the digi is called Amber from Sugar Nellie and I coloured her with copics and polychromos.  The colouring seemed to work best when I coloured a base with the copics and then built up the colour with the pencils....will try this method again but not today!

I saw the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday was an eye for detail and to me that meant a face focusing on the eyes...I do love Amber's eyes!!

I have used papers from MME - Unforgettable which I will need to buy more of cos these are so gorgeous and I cannot run out!! I distressed each of the layers before layering onto bazzill card, then I also distressed the card.  I made the flower from some felt with my die-namics rolled daisy, the flourish is from Magnolia.  There is dotty ribbon underneath the flower but I think it has taken over that spot on the card. I added a piece of aqua lace and some tiny pearls to the image to finish...hope you like.
