Paper Sundaes DT card

Hello my Sunday bloggers and my scheduled post...I was on holiday yesterday to catch up on some stuff but back to work today. The challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is to use something from your stash. For my card I used Scenic Route papers which I bought last month, I punched out the swirly vine and inked up the edges to make it look like the leaves were turning for autumn, I added 2 little felt flowers which were cut from the MFT die-namics rolled flower die..I also added a couple of spiral things...can't remember what you call those in real life!! The pearls and message I have had in my stash....almost forgot..the image is from Karen's Doodles which I coloured this time with promarkers. Our sponsor this week is Karen's Doodles...woo hoo, Karen has lots of beautiful images...you will be spoilt for choice!! I have entered my card in the following challenges....

I ♥ Promarkers - pearls and swirls

Simon Says Stamp - autumn

Merry Christmas...

Well after my post yesterday saying that it was raining...it actually turned out to be really hot and looks like it's going to be nice and sunny today. For my card today I have used my new Bo Bunny winter Joy papers...these are absolutely gorgeous in real life but haven't been able to get the matching ribbons yet...the image is from Sassy Cheryl's and I coloured the snowman with copics and added some glitter. I distressed the edges of the layers to give it a shabby look...well my interpretation of a shabby look. I didn't think I needed to add any embellishments as I think it looks ok as there is a few different papers. I have entered the following challenges.

Friday Sketchers - sketch

Cupcake Craft Challenge - digital

Sir Stampalot - distressed

Stampin' for the Weekend - shabby

Totally Gorjuss - Christmas in August

Craftalicious - purple and green

It's a shower...

Hi folks...I thought this card fits perfect to the weather we are having just now...well the weather where I am. Every time I hang my washing out it starts to rain....what a nightmare with towels!! So onto the card... these little meeses have been hiding in my stash for a while so I thought it was time for them to come out and show their e little faces. Now you will never believe this but I didn't use copics to colour this..I used my waterur pencils for a change but I did make a bit of a mistake...I used a memento ink pad...doesn't work with waterpencils however I still think I got away with parts of the ink bleeding as I needed very little colourecially on the meeses so between the ink and the pencils I think they look ok. I stamp this stamp twice so I could cut out the flower head and 3d them and then touched up with lots of glitter. I have entered this in the following challenges:

House Mouse - make a splash

Pollycraft - nature

Crafty Cardmakers - glitter and sparkle

Craftalicious - purple and green

A Crafty Little Place - anything goes

Charisma - inspired by a song - singing in the rain

this one has new flowers!!

Well my new die arrived so of course I needed to test it out....what do you think...I'm not sure yet. For this card I used Crate Papers - Paper Doll Collection and the image has been coloured with copics. I added ribbon and a ribbon charm but I had to colour the ribbon to match the card...now the flowers were made with my new die-namycs die from My Favourite Things...it's just a spiral and then it's rolled to make this type of flower. I added pearls to the centres of the flowers. I also embossed the backing panel with swirls as I don't have a swirl die...yet. I have entered this card in the following challenges:

Friday Sketchers - sketch

Craftalicious - pearls and swirls

Anya Ink - recipe

All that scraps - die cuts

Dare U 2 Digi - blooms and charms

It's a cutie...

Well it's a very blustery day here today....but the washing is dry!! On to today's card..I have made this with a few challenges in mind. The papers are Crate Papers which are very easy to distress around the edges because they have an inner core, then I inked them up with my new distress inks....think I need to practise (Linds..I agree with you now!!) The stamp is one of the cute Mangas from Sugar Nellie...although this one looks a bit more stroppy than cute and of course she has been coloured with copics.

The Sugar Bowl - sketch and scallops

Craftalicious - cute

Crafty Catz - distressing

Crafty Cardmakers - inky fingers

Just for the Boys!!

Eventually I finished this card...this is the 3rd attempt..first one was too big for the card, the second one was a bit naff...Helen at work asked me to make her a card to give to her boyfriend...mwah mwah ...ooh they're so sweet!! I have made this quite plain all grey, blacks and white which was the requirements Helen gave so it fits a few challenges. I coloured the image with copics and added some white coarse glitter to give the beer a frothy look and layered it onto grey card and patterned paper which I had in my stash...finished with some stars which I cut with the sizzix...oops nearly forgot...

It's an easel card...so here's the inside too...

Paper cutz - stars
