It's Christmas....
I've been on a roll today but this card took me ages. I managed to fix my sewing machine so I tried real stitching on this one however I have missed a couple of stitches at the corners but I hopefully will get better at the stitching....I think it finishes off a card. I have used Bo Bunny Winter Joy papers, and layered it onto bazill card which I distressed, the image is from LOTV which has been coloured with copics and then I added some shading with waterpencils and then finished off with some glitter on James's hat and a snowflake!! I have entered the following challenges.
LOTV - untraditional Christmas colours
Friday Sketchers - sketch
Delightful Sketches - make it sparkle
Charisma Cardz - anything goes
Little Red Wagon - glitter
Crafty Catz - stitching
Sweet Stampin' - stitching

A few challenges..
Morning Friday bloggers...well still not been on that much as my PC has to go back to Mr Fix It man on Monday so I am still using Michael's laptop when I can however it needs to go to Mr Fix It Man too as he has forgotten the password to get into the main account where all his stuff is and the account I use doesn't have administration rights...never rains but it pours and that's not just the weather!! So I am on a mission to get some cards made and posted today and my scheduled one for Sunday. For this I used Crate Papers and the stamp is from Mo Manning(which the lovely Linds sent me)and coloured the image with Promarkers....still don't have a big range of colours....yet, but I think I like them as they are easy to control and you can still do the same with them as you can with copics. The message was punched out using the Stampin Up word window punch and I also punched 2 strips of scalloped edging.I added 3 flowers made with the die-namics rolled flower die and glittered it up a bit. I have entered the challenges below.
Simon Says Stamp - sketch
Little Red Wagon - glitter
Charisma Cardz - anything goes
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Teenagers
DP2 - bling
Passion for Promarkers - flowers
Allsorts - 3 punches

Paper Sundaes DT card
Hello Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post....yes working again. This week the challenge over at Paper Sundaes is to use 3 or more embellishments....I kind of forgot about the embellishments until after I had finished the card and as I am having PC problems I wasn't sure if I would have time to make another and get it posted so I had to make do with what I had but I'm sure you have loads of embellishments to choose from.
Our sponsor this week is Belles 'n' Whistles...they have lots of beautiful stamps.
I have used Bo Bunny Papers for this card as they are a bit summery and I thought they went well with the Belles 'n' Whistles stamp. I also added some chalked clouds to the background as it needed something else. I have coloured this one with copics and my 3 embellies are the cloud, sun and button.

So I have to say why I started my blog and then pass this on to 10 others so here goes...
Well I had been making cards for a while and then I was looking for a particular stamp....so I googled it and I came across a blog but not just any blog, it was my friends blog who forgot to mention this blogging stuff to me but low and behold she had so many of my blogging friends saved on her blog. I am totally addicted to this as I have met so many friends through the land of blog who have given me lots of encouragement and I can't thank you all enough!!
It's Autumn...
Well I am not happy as this virus is not for shifting from my PC so still using Michael's laptop...nightmare!! I have spent most of the afternoon making this card...think I like paper piecing...it's very therapeutic and these sugar Nellie stamps are really good for that...well I think so. Thinking of You.......
Morning folks...not sure how good this photo is as I have loaded it to Michael's laptop and I don't like the laptop....my PC has a virus...boo hoo!! Hopefully my PC will be fixed today and will be back to normal. I can't believe this has happenend as I only got a new monitor the other day and now this....well I suppose if it's going to happen it will happen to me..that's the kind of luck I seem to have. I actually wanted to post this yesterday to make a few challenges that ended yesterday but for one thing or another that didn't happen. So here we are now...the papers are from Scenic Route - Laurel and the image is from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics and water colour pencils. I layered the image onto the circle which distressed with my Tim Holtz distressing tool. The flowers are cut using MFT die-namics rolled flower die. Mixed Mediums with Paper Sundaes
Welcome Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post...yes working again!! This week over at Paper Sundaes the challenege is to use mixed mediums so you need to use more than one type of colouring medium for example I have used water pencils on top of copics, but you could use chalks, inks, prismacolours, watercolours etc. This week one lucky winner will receive a $25 certificate to use at My Creative Classroom.
For my card I have used papers from Echo Park...which I really like. The stamp is a new stamp I spotted over at Quixotic Paperie I just needed to buy her....isn't she cute and you'll never guess what her name is....well I'll tell you...it's Fiona!! How cool is that...a stamp named after me!! As I said I have coloured Fiona with copics and water pencils. The flower has been cut using my die-namics rolled flower die using a piece of white felt...which worked really well but a pity I stuck it not quite in the right place. I decided it should be over a bit once it had dried but the craft knife wouldn't budge it....at least the glue is strong then!! I also added the strip of lace and the little pearls. Hope you like and I have also entered this card in the following challenges: oh BTW incase anybody is thinking is the stamp named after me...it's not ...just a coincidence!!
Sweet Sketch Wednesday - sketch
Fab 'n' Funky - living in a material world
All that scraps - lace and CC Design
Simon Says Stamp - Pearls and lace

Merry Christmas...
Well after my post yesterday saying that it was raining...it actually turned out to be really hot and looks like it's going to be nice and sunny today. For my card today I have used my new Bo Bunny winter Joy papers...these are absolutely gorgeous in real life but haven't been able to get the matching ribbons yet...the image is from Sassy Cheryl's and I coloured the snowman with copics and added some glitter. I distressed the edges of the layers to give it a shabby look...well my interpretation of a shabby look. I didn't think I needed to add any embellishments as I think it looks ok as there is a few different papers. I have entered the following challenges.
Friday Sketchers - sketch
Cupcake Craft Challenge - digital
Sir Stampalot - distressed
Stampin' for the Weekend - shabby
Totally Gorjuss - Christmas in August
Craftalicious - purple and green

It's a shower...
Hi folks...I thought this card fits perfect to the weather we are having just now...well the weather where I am. Every time I hang my washing out it starts to rain....what a nightmare with towels!! So onto the card... these little meeses have been hiding in my stash for a while so I thought it was time for them to come out and show their e little faces. Now you will never believe this but I didn't use copics to colour this..I used my waterur pencils for a change but I did make a bit of a mistake...I used a memento ink pad...doesn't work with waterpencils however I still think I got away with parts of the ink bleeding as I needed very little colourecially on the meeses so between the ink and the pencils I think they look ok. I stamp this stamp twice so I could cut out the flower head and 3d them and then touched up with lots of glitter. I have entered this in the following challenges:
House Mouse - make a splash
Pollycraft - nature
Crafty Cardmakers - glitter and sparkle
Craftalicious - purple and green
A Crafty Little Place - anything goes
Charisma - inspired by a song - singing in the rain
