Find Out About Friday - The New Easy Way to Book a Feeling Crafty Class

One of the things I really enjoy is to share my love of stamping with others at classes, and based on the lovely comments I get from those who come they really enjoy the classes too.

Today I want to tell you about some changes I have made to make it easier for you to book onto a class - either in person or one of our Classes to You.  Classes to you are a great way to take a class from the comfort of your own home, you will get all the card, papers and embellishments you need as well as full instructions.

To book your classes all you need to do is click here - easy! I have also put the link on the side of this blog so you can easily find it any time you like.  You can still book by email or phone if you would rather.

Double Page Bohemian Scrapbook Layout

Today I have a double page layout to share with you featuring the gorgeous Bohemian Patterned Papers.  

I love how vibrant the papers are and how much impact even using just a few strips of them has.  The two pages are mirrors of each other and feature a little paper weaving in the corners (yep you guessed I could not decide which I wanted on the top!

The coodrinating Bohemian Boarders Stamp set meant I could take the pattern from the papers and add it to the background and the journalling card.

The One Celebrating 4th July, Project Life and Scrapbooking!

Before I share this week's scrapbook Start Point I wanted to wish all my American Friends Happy 4th July.  I made this Red, White and Blue card to celebrate.

Now being a Saturday I know that many of you have come here to find a scrapbook page and there certainly has been a lot of scrapping going on around here - I have started on the 300ish photos I took in Madeira.

As you can see not really ready to share yet but I do find that Project Life by Stampin' Up! Pages make sorting the photos much easier and once I have finished that I will add some cards, journalling and embellishments to those pages and make some 12x12 pages for those extra special bits too.

What I can share with you is one of the inspiration pages I made for the last Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club.  We used the Bohemian Boarders Papers and here I have added a stenciled background.  

I do have slots available on next Saturdays meeting of the club if you would like to take part in person or I can provide your kit in the post - please just email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk to reserve your space / kit.

Would You Like To Stamp With Me?

A few people recently have asked me about how they can come and stamp with me, so for this week's Find Out About Friday I though I would share some of the ways.

At A Class

I run a regular programme of classes offering Card Making, Memory Keeping with Project Life and traditional Scrapbooking. This is what one attendee said about last weekend's class 

'Great to join you and the other ladies for card making and tin filling today. Thank you so much for the lovely gift bag of sweets.  You always make a special effort to treat with considerate and pretty gifts!  THANK YOU.'

You can always find an up to date schedule of classes here, but for those of you who prefer everything on one page here is the summer class schedule. I do add new classes from time to time so keep an eye here for announcements or make sure you are subscribed to my newsletter (it's free) by putting your email address in the box at the top right of this blog.

Everyone is welcome at classes what ever your level of experience and as with many things it is even more fun with friends so why not bring them along?

All of the classes I offer can also be taken privately as a group, either at your house or mine if you are local to Leighton Buzzard, or by mail / with the power of the internet if you are not.

These are some of the cards we will be making at the next card making class.

Scrapbook Saturday - A Start Point Page for the Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club

Today I have one of the inspiration Scrapbook Start Point Pages I made for the Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club to share with you.  This month's kit features the wonderful Bohemian Designer Series Papers and lots of fun embellishments.  I had so much fun with the bright bold colours and patterns as did those who have used their kits so far.

If you would like this kit please email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk.  The kits are available for a limited time only and contain everything you need to make at least 6 full 12x12 pages, there is card, patterned papers and lots of pretty coordinating embellishments.  Each kit costs £25 which includes post and packing.  Additionally I will email you photos of at least four pages made exclusively using things from the kit, so you will have plenty of ideas to get you started!

Scrapbook Saturday - Scrapbook Start Point Using the Sweet Dreams Products from Stampin' Up! UK

Today I am going to share one of the Scrapbook Start Points that we are going to be using at this month's Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club.  Each month's kit features a different set of papers from Stampin' Up! UK and using just what is in the kit I make four or five scrapbook Start Points that those attending can use as inspiration to start their own scrapbook pages.  All they have to do is add their photos and any extra embellishments they want when they get home.

This month's kit features the  gorgeous Sweet Dreams Papers.  These papers are part of a product suite with a baby theme but they clever designers at Stampin' Up! have made sure that the papers and accessories are fantastic for any occasion.

This page also features the coordinating Sweet Dreams Washi Tape and the Elegant Butterfly and 1 3/8 Circle Punches.
