Scrapbook Saturday - Another Project Life Page about the House Rennovations

With much of my craft stuff packed away while the house is renovated, traditional scrapbooking has rather taken a back seat in favour of the ease and convenience of using Project Life by Stampin' Up!  Today I am going to share another page about the house renovations!  I have lots of other photos I want to scrap too but they are going to have to wait until after the work is done.

I have used the Everyday Adventure Cards and Accessories for this page - I can't believe how much you get in thee kits, I have made well over 20 pages and I still have loads left!  

You can see the full range of Project Life by Stampin' Up! products here. I have added swatches of the paints used in the bedroom to this page - since they will not touch any photos I don't need to worry if the paint is archive safe or not!

Memory Keeping Monthly Using Project Life by Stampin' Up!

I am really looking forward to tomorrow's Memory Keeping Monthly Class and to introducing two excited groups to the wonderful Project Life By Stampin' Up! Products.  I know they are going to have a lot of fun with it - I know I do!

Today I am going to share a double page about the building work that is currently going on in my house.  I am lucky enough to have a great builder working on it but sometimes when I look around at the mess I feel a bit overwhelmed by it all and in those moments it is fantastic to be able to look back thorough my album and see just how far we have come already!  

I have used the Everyday Adventure Card Kit for these pages and added a couple of stamped images from the Day to Day and Remember This Stamp Sets.

Scrapbook Saturday - Project Life by Stampin' Up! Recording my House Renovations Part 2

Last Saturday I showed you the first spread in a Project Life by Stampin' Up! Album that records my house renovations and this week I am going to show you the next double.  T

This is where the real work began!  The first week of the big build!

 The inserts I have used for all these pages are the Everyday Adventure Set.  The house certainly looks like a building site!

I am loving how easy it is to keep this album up to date.  Each evening I take photos of what has happened around the house and the lovely builder Colin is even taking some photos for me along the way too!  On a Sunday evening I am going through and selecting the photos I want in the album and making the page.  It is a great way to end the week and helps me remember just how far we have come as I sit amid the chaos!  I think even after the building work is finished I am going to end my week with a page put together on a Sunday evening, just recording day to day life and my little adventures.

Scrapbook Saturday - Project Life by Stampin' Up! recording my house renovations

As many of you know, my home is in the middle of some extensive renovations, and it is exciting to see how things are changing.  I have of course been taking plenty of photos along the way and a Project Life by Stampin' Up! album is proving to be a great way to tell the story of this build as I go along.  Today I am going to share the first few pages with you.

Like all the best stories it starts with the first meeting!  I have used the photos from the Estate Agenent's Web Site for these pages.  

The story of my first viewing is quite amusing, I was on the way to Stampin' Up!'s Convention.  The wonderful Estate Agents gave me a lift to see it and then to the station after - and by the time I unpacked my suitcase I had purchased the house!  

I love that little peek through that you get from the cut out letters!  Next I have a double page that is not quite finished yet - I want to add a title to the card at the top left when one of the new alphabet stamps arrives!  These pages show some of the changes I made before the main work began.  I do have some more photos of the, shall we say interesting things I found around the house and will use these on some before during and after pages.

These pages all use the Everyday Adventure Card Collection and the Variety Pack of Page Protectors.

One of the things I am loving about this album is that in those moments when the chaos of the works all seems too much I can see easily how far things have come already.
