e-ring

We already bought my engagement ring last weekend. Phewwwit. Well technically he bought it. Utterly happy with the ring. Hihi. We bought the ring in just one go. Awesome!
First we went to Tomei. There weren't a lot of choice but we already had what we liked in our mind. So we went to the next store, Habib. I think most ppl know this. The designs for rings at Habib were really outdated. They were big and ugly. Well at least for yellow gold ring. For this engagement, my mom and his mom want at least 1 diamond at the ring. So we asked the SA at Habib about it but unfortunately for yellow gold ring they don't have any diamond with it. Only white gold have it. So yeah bye bye Habib.
Then we moved to the next store which is Emas Sri Pinang (we were at Festival City). They have plenty of choices. A lot. There were 2 or 3 rings that I liked but they were more than RM1k which was more than our budget. And for rings that within our budget, the rings were light and thin. Have the potential to break easily. Mind you for ring with diamond, they only have 750. Only Tomei has 916 yellow gold ring with diamond.
At the end we decided to buy the ring at Tomei since we both wanted a ring that have good quality with the good price. Means 916 yellow gold and thick. Actually I don't mind to have a plain yellow gold ring. I seriously don't care at all whether the ring has diamond or not. I wanted we paid for something that is worth the money because I know diamond price suppose to be cheap. But because some trade in happening at Africa and interruption done by the middle person, the price goes way higher than it should. Having said that, why on earth gold price don't go higher nowadays? My boyfriend is investing in gold. Come on, please go higher! We wanna get married!
So here the sneak peek. My boyfriend capture the image and forward to me with his message ''Will you marry me?'' Heee.
see the big rock? lol. how can I showed mine before the day? |
