We dress ourselves around here!

Ruby and her outfit combinations CRACK. ME. UP!!!  They generally consist of polka dots or stripes, a Hawaiian dress, some sort of headband, jewelry of course, and a pair of heels are preferred.  Oh yeah and did I mention nail polish, she wants her nails to be freshly polished ALL. OF. THE. TIME!  She is so funny and I wouldn't want it any other way.  I remember early on my mom always to me to pick my battles carefully with my kids.  If it's not life-threatening she would always say then you may want to let it go.  I'm going to agree with her on this one.

Dallin can climb higher than all of our kids and has absolutely no fear when doing it.
These binkies... we can't shake them...I'm still okay with it though!

Playing in the splash pad - diapers only.  This was one of those days I didn't pack swim suits because I had no intention in taking the kids to the splash pad.  I figured it would be just a park day, however they had other ideas.  It was fun to roll with it and watch the two of them have such a fun time.

Stars, stripes, and heels oh my!!!!!!!
I love it when these two snuggle up next to each other and watch a show, it's so cute!

Utah Splash Pad Fun

More on Utah on some future posts but first the splash pads.  I'm bummed that they had turned off all of the splash pads in our neck of the woods in San Diego county due to the drought.  It seems like there should be some way of reusing the water, but who knows.  I do know that my kids love getting wet and very much enjoy these.  While we were in Utah for the 4th of July we went to an awesome splash pad at Pioneer Park.  After they played around in the water a bit they had a good game of baseball with grandpa.

Utah summers really are pretty magical, I'm grateful we had the chance to go back again this year.
