Heber Half Marathon

2️⃣nd year in a row I ran the Heber Half. Such a gorgeous race through the mountains ๐Ÿ” with such an awesome cause. Besides the race which was incredible, one of my favorite parts was the expo the day before. The kids thought they hit the jackpot ๐ŸŽฐ with all the loot they came away with - candy ๐Ÿฌ, swag bags, earphones, water ๐Ÿ’ฆ bottles, stickers, sunscreen ๐Ÿงด....etc

Gordon tells me as we are leaving the expo, “Mommy, I hope you r
un ๐Ÿƒ‍♀️ this race EVERY year from now on!” ๐Ÿ˜‚ ✔️ So glad I’ve got Gordon’s approval!#heberhalf #runforautism #utahrunning #runtastic

I got a personal record of 1:42 which equates to about a 7:50 minute mile pace.  I was really happy with this time considering that I haven't been able to train as much in the last couple of weeks and my hip was acting up for the past 4 days.  So happy to run and so happy my body felt as well as it did!

Christmas 2017

We had a wonderful and "relaxing" (as relaxing as it can be with 4 children ages 7 and under).  Mom and dad came a couple of days before Christmas and that was perfect.  The kids love having them around, as do we and things just run smoothly.  We had a great Christmas though and the weather here was nice.  Ruby found one of my old dresses from when I was a flower girl in a wedding when I was about her age.  She loves wearing it and looks so cute in it.
This year for Christmas, Ruby, age 4 wanted babies, baby accessories, nail polish, lip gloss, lotion jewelry, and anything else that would classify as girly.  She is so funny.
On Gordon's Christmas list was an Apple Watch, Nintendo Switch, XBox, and a few other big ticket items... he did not get any of those things but ended up with lots of Legos, books, clothes, and a ping pong table.
Dallin loves the big Duplo Legos, PJ Mask, Mickie Mouse, Playdou, and anything else he can get into.
Gordon and dad played a few fierce games of dodge ball in the back yard.  Listening and watching them play was probably just as entertaining or even more entertaining than even playing.  Gordon couldn't stop laughing and I think grandpa had a pretty good time too.

Lily Marie LOVES Minnie Mouse and got a Minnie Mouse outfit from Bobbi that she wore for about 2 weeks straight.  She is so funny.  She also loves babies and any baby accessories too.

On Christmas day we went to the park to meet a friend of Eric's from Santa Rosa.
My dad got Gordon his first baseball mitt and began to break it in.

Thanksgiving in Utah

Life has gotten away from me in the recent months and I'm finally just getting around to updating life in our family.  We decided to switch things up this year and instead of go to Santa Rosa for Thanksgiving we headed to Utah.

We had a marvelous time.  The kids loved seeing their cousins, aunts, and uncles.  We made sure to hit up the swim centers daily, visit Thanksgiving Point a couple of times, visit BYU and the Monte L Bean Science museum, Gordon and I ran in a Turkey Trot together on Thanksgiving day, and we ate a lot of good food.  It was a successful trip in my eyes.  I do love how much the kids enjoy visiting Utah, we all get a little nostalgic.

I discovered the Heber City Rec. Center and we spend many hours there playing soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis and dodge ball.  It was awesome.

Hold Me Mommy

"Hold You ME!"  These are the words I hear on a regular basis from these little munchkins.  These kids are so cute but sometimes when everyone wants me to hold them at all the same time it can be overwhelming.  This is a usual occurrence in our family, me holding multiple kids all at once. #momofmultiples :)

More Summer Pics

There are bits of summer that are magical in my mind (not the whole thing if I'm being completely honest).  However, family night with our neighbors were great, the library summer reading program was great for the kids, Gordon went to two soccer camps and had a great time, and finding the Pop Badge, Mr. Gold at Legoland.

I'm grateful for summer and the memories we made but I am sure grateful that it is now fall and the kids and I are back in school.

Christmas in July

These twins love to wear their Christmas pajamas all year long, it is so funny and cute.  Dallin especially will ask for his Christmas pajamas and in fact refuses to wear just about any other pair.  Luckily I got his a pair of basketball pjs recently and he seems to be enjoying those as well.

Lily LOVES all things vegetables!  She can sit with a cup of carrots, snap peas, celery, cherry tomatoes, and a small cup of ranch dressing and be seriously content for the longest time.  Grandma Pat is smiling down on her and loving that she has a thing for veggies like we do.

Our sweet neighbor Marty is like a Fairy God Mother.  She continues to show up on a regular basis and sprinkle our house with so much love, amazing food, crafts galore, and great company.  On this particular day she brought over some princess crowns, necklaces, bracelets, and nail polish for Ruby.  Um needless to say Ruby was over the moon excited!

Oh this is hilarious.  I went to pick up some bagels from the Einsteins a few weeks ago when I noticed a "Going out of business," sign on a shoe store.  I had the twins and Ruby with me at the time, which made the whole experience even that much crazier (3 kids running wild though the store).  At any rate, all of the shoes were $1!!!  Ruby was picking up shoes left and right (she LOVES shoes).  The only problem is most of the shoes were not her size but she did find a few pairs of ladies heels that she wears on a regular basis.  This girl, so funny and cute!

Everything is more fun with Bobbi and Grandpa are around.

My parents were in town Memorial Day weekend because my dad had a baseball tournament down here.   We get spoiled when they are here.  Eric and I were able to go to the temple one night while they watched the kids.  We went on our nightly "walking date" just around the neighborhood and on the trails close to our house.  The kids are in hog-heaven and burst into big splashy tears whenever they leave.  Life is just better when they are around, for all of us.

It's so fun to watch my dad play games with the kids and the kids love it.

Park time is also way more fun with several extra pairs of hands.  So grateful for these amazing parents of mine.

Go Warriors!  We have been loving watching the Warriors play basketball this season, such treat to watch such great ball!

This was one of those nights that Gordon and Ruby were actually playing so nicely in the tub together.

Dallin thought he would try Gordon't new Pokemon hat on, he seemed to be a big fan.

Dallin can now shoot a squirt gun and thinks it is HILARIOUS!!!  He unfortunately has a pretty good shot and squirts me constantly.  Funny little boy!
