Dallin and Lily turn 4 years old

Our babies 👶 👶 are 4️⃣ today!!! 😭🎈🎉
Never in a million years would I have guessed that I would be a mom to twins... but here I am. These 2️⃣ cutie-pies have taught me so many lessons over the past 4️⃣ years. Watching the bond that they have is magical. 💕 They laugh 😆together, sing 🎶 together, play together, and comfort each other when the other is in need. It’s really the sweetest thing.
Dallin, (the older brother, by 1 minute) is full of life, energy, and passion. He is Lily’s protector (most of the time). He thinks he is much older than Lily because he is several inches taller than her. 😂 He loves art 🖼 and is constantly building and creating.
Lily (the baby 🍼 of the family) doesn’t want to grow up and constantly talks about wanting to be small and a baby forever. 🤣She loves to read and sing and can usually be found carrying her stuffed animals 🧸, blanket, and babies 👶 around.
So grateful for Dallin and Lily in our lives! 🎉🎈🎁🎂

Ruby's Soccer Season Ends

Ruby, at the age of 4 just finished her first season of soccer.  The first couple of sessions were bumpy to say the least ("I don't want to play daddy!" - clinging to Eric's leg as he held the twins in both arms because I was coaching Gordon's soccer team on another field at the same time.  Eric defiantly took one for the team in the early sessions of Ruby's soccer season.  However, as the season progressed she discovered that she really does like playing and she was a good little soccer player.  She was darling to watch run around, kick the ball, and laughing all the way.  That's the way it is suppose to be.

Gordon, age 7 also finished up his soccer season playing on the Red Dragons - we had a good season and Gordon played well.

More April Adventures

Dallin loves to be in the front seat of the car and decided he wanted to sit with me in the drivers seat and pretend to drive.
The 3 amijos!  It's so fun to see there 3 become such close buddies.  Ruby is like a little mother to them most of the time but she is so sweet and the twins love following her lead.
Sure why not hide under the kitchen table?!?
Nighttime stories with Lily and the rest of the gang.
 Eric and Dallin
Dallin loves all things sweet, especially whip cream!
Lily still has that binkie!  She is so cute!

Home school Ruby

One of the best parts about homeschooling little Ruby right now is the fact that we get to take fun breaks like going to Jamba Juice and playing by the fountain.  This is one of their favorite little outings.

Ruby insists on writing all of the numbers 8x's each.  I told her she could do a few rows but she always wants to finish the whole sheet.  She has been the best little student and is always so eager to learn and to work.  Even though coming up with work for her to do each day is time consuming it is so fun to watch her make all of this growth and progress.  Just a month ago she could identify 3 capital letters, no lower case letters, and numbers 1-4.  Now a month later she can identify almost all of her capital and lower case letters, and numbers 0-10.  I'm proud of her and all of her hard work.  Keep it up Ruby girl!

Legoland Fun

The kids still love to visit Legoland.  Recently Ruby ran into a princess and was over the moon excited.
Dallin and Lily went on the little train ride in Duplo Village, they were all smiles and giggles, it was pretty darling.

My Hawaiian Girl and My Bakers

Ruby Rose will wear a dress and heals everyday of the week if I'd let her.  Oh and multiple headbands, jewelry and purses of course too.  She doesn't want to go anywhere without her purse.  This girl cracks me up, she is so cute!
Ruby decided for school a few weeks ago that she wanted to make cupcakes.  I agreed and she was thrilled.  When Gordon got home from school he was super excited to eat her creations.  He may have picked off the majority of the jelly beans on the cupcakes as well.  Love these funny kids!

Cute Ruby

Ruby LOVES to dress herself and pretty much insists that everything fits her even if it is several sizes too small.  This cute little girl somehow manages to get her little body into just about anything.  She put on Lily's 18 month old jacket here and showed me how it "still fit!"

Hawaiian Dancin at the GYM

Ruby woke up the other day (56 degrees out) and decided it was a Hawaiian Dress kind of day.  This girl makes me laugh out loud most days.  As we were waiting to get into the kids club this morning, Ruby decided to put on a little dance.  Meanwhile, Dallin and Lily are getting into each and everyone of those energy bars in the background.  Never a dull moment around here.

Ruby - dress up

Ruby loves to dress up whether it is in my high heels or a dress or a costume, it's all so fun for her.  One of her buddies got her this new "Hair Styling" costume and she thinks it's pretty amazing!

Happy 4th Birthday Ruby!

It's hard to believe that our little Ruby turned 4 years old.  Gordon and her decided that she had to have a birthday party this year (since she has NEVER had one).  They were making me feel a little guilty for about 1 second but then I quickly came to my senses and realized that she really is only 4.

Gordon had basketball the morning of her birthday and when we got back home, one of our friends had dropped off a card and cupcakes for her, she was super excited!
We were suppose to have her little party at the park but it rained a TON, so we moved it inside (17+ kids and parents) made for a memorable couple of hours.

The kids went on a "gem hunt" through the house and found all sorts of gems, Ruby loved it.  The kids then counted and sorted their gems.
We also had a treasure hunt and they all did a great job of finding it.

Ruby was so darling at the end of the day she said, "Mommy, thank you SO much for my princess party, I had SO much fun and I loved having my friends come to my house!"  This little thank you made it all worth it!  Love you forever Ruby Rose!
