after so long of no ktv-ing, i finally got to satisfy the emptiness ytd night with Shuan, Fen, TAi and Ken. Wah lao damn high can, felt like we just ended a rock concert. And thanks to them, i found a damn nice japanese song. Freaking good song, highly recommended, title is Forever Love by X-Japan.

the virus bug really got me bad. the throat was a little itchy on monday, but the full effect came in the night. Went to bed earlier then usual, but i just couldnt sleep. the pain in the throat was killing me, and worse still, i was feeling cold at one time, den pespiring like mad the next minute. like that's not enuf, the headache was killing me as well. when i tot i could get some sleep, the alarm rang.
when i cant get sleep, it means theres something really wrong. The doc said its virual attack, which explains the fever and headache. But why izzit that i still cant get much sleep ytd night?? man.... my head still hurts.
Alot of frens around me are also getting sick. So everyone, please take care of yourself ya.

I read from somewhere that, a few years ago, the dead body of a whale was washed onto shore. And when they opened up its stomach, they found about 800kg worth of plastic bags inside it. This isnt the only case of animals (both marine and land) eating plastic bags as food. Please, try to Reduce, Reuse, and Refuse. How you may ask. well, i'll take grocery shopping for example.
REDUCEWe all know how generous the supermarkets are with their plastic bags. If you can, try to repack your things after payment. You will be surprised to see that you can use at least 1 less plastic bag.
REUSEIf you know you are going marketing, bring along used plastic bags from home. Better still, bring your own grocery bags. This way, you need not add anymore plastic bags to your "collection", and its so much easier to carry the groceries with a more solid bag!
REFUSEYou know how the supermarkets will give u a bag no matter how small your items are? So if you are buying small items like a can of Coke, tell the cashier lady to not give you a bag. Instead, put them into your own bag. Even better, put a plastic bag (taken from home) in your bag just in case.
These are all very simple actions in life. And its these simple actions that can help save the animals on this planet. When they say EVERYONE PLAYS A PART, believe it. Animal Planet has this quote,
" There is only one species on earth who can save all the other species. Us. Think about it." How very true. If you dont do something now, it will be too late before you know it.
Besides minimising the usage of plastic bags, the usage of straws should also be minimised. I think i have said this alot of times, straw is the number 1 litter found on beaches. And it would be dire if animals eat them unknowingly. So the next time you order a meal from Macdonalds, please think twice before pressing for a straw.

in the end, we brought Dad to this teochew restaurant at Suntec City, Imperial Treasure Teochew Restaurant. The food is quite good, service is acceptable, and the price is affordable. We also bought a mini Mochamisu from NYDC for Dad also, so it was an enjoyable dinner. Too bad none of us took any pics. haha.
We seemed to "love" going Suntec to eat man. First Kuishin-bo, den The Rice Table, now Imperial Treasure. What shall we eat next?? Mother was saying Canto food, den we link to having dim sum for breakfast this sunday since my parents are off for the day. I know, very out of point.
Oh yeah, anyone wanna go to the project superstar recording on 7th of Nov (tue)? I can get tixs, but the only requirement is, to be my fren's supporters. hahahaa. No harm rite? Got gain yet no lost.

Today is my dad's 52nd birthday, so,
HAPPPPY BIRTHDAY PAPAAAAAAAA!!!!! My bro was thinking of going to this really chi chi Chinese restaurant for dinner, but he just told me that a set dinner for 4 pax costs $300+! I nearly choke on my saliva man, somemore Siding and 2 of my parents' frens are coming along. So just imagine the price of the set dinner for 7 pax. Steamed man!
And i officially no need to go to work on the 23rd of Oct!! Yeeeeessaaaa.. Extra long weekend, i like...... hhahaaa.. Now my brain is churning for things to do already. I wanna go swimming or go beach (if the body allows), i wanna go diving (but not possible), i wanna get my study stuffs done, i wanna go watch movie, maybe i wanna go to the gym, i wanna.. i wannna.. But if all plans fail, i will jsut stay at home and do jigsaw puzzle! I just bought 2 1000-pieces jigsaw puzzles to work on, one is that of a Puppy pic, and the other one consists of alot of Disney characters. The best thing is, they are selling at 3 for $10! Damn shiok, Hari Raya pasar malam at Paya Lebar, very bagus!!

and Mr Kenny Lin Daowen aka Ken Ni, ni ke yi ma? aka Blur cock aka Ge Shen (God of Singing) aka Ou Xiang (Idol) has made it to the top 24 of Project Superstar!!!!! Damn exciting can!!! Finally, i can watch TV and proudly point to the pple ard me that the guy singing on TV is my fren!! Muuuuahahahahahahhahahahahaaaaaa.. When the host said his name out, i couldnt register for a while, still need my brother to "remind" me. hahahaha. So cool so cool, now can really make banners and posters le!
Feeling bored during the performances, Jozie and I started to be judges ourselves and comment on anyone who came into our vision. THru this, we found alot of look-alikes in this year's male contestants, and since we could not get their names at all (and they all look like each other), we decided to name them our way. So in conclusion, we have the following names:
1. Hossan Leong (very small and sharp face)
2. Ekin Cheng (this HK actor)
3. Traffic Police/CWO (coz he wore a jacket with lime green lining)
4. SMRT Guy (coz he wore a purple shirt with purple tie. Fugly)
5. Norman look-alike (Norman's one of our junior from SP)
6. Yoda (Joz's idea, she says his face really is wide, and so suay, he wore green jacket. haahaha)
7. Pin Guan (this Taiwan singer. And everyone agrees to this look-alike)
8. Jay Chou wannabe (Everyone says this fellow is good-looking. But to us, NO GO! Ugly hair, no personal style, and worst of all, NO BUTT AT ALL! bleahhh)
9. The Star (he was an actor with Mediacorp. period)
10 Dreadlocks (my favourite! Not a look-alike la, but the most stylish contestant)
All of the above got thru to the Top 24, which is understandable, EXCEPT FOR TRAFFIC POLICE/CWO, SMRT GUY AND NORMAN LOOK-ALIKE!!! WAh lao, not only are they fashion disasters, they are NOt the least good-looking, and they DO NOT SOUND GOOD AT ALL! Why did they got thru den? Just because they are from some stupid music school, and their "teacher" is fren fren with one of the judges. From some music school still sound so bad, really cannot make it.

Had my hair trimmed ytd at this EC House at Pasir Ris before meeting the girls. Den while i was walking towards the shop, i saw Pam, Shea Shea and her mum-in-law! Such a coincidence, first time see them there after working at Loyang for almost 2 yrs. ok, lets get back to hair-trimming.
Whoever say that pple with short hair will take a shorter time to cut hair?? it was supposed to be a 10-min cut, but mine took almost 20 mins man. And there's this lady (with much longer hair) who came after me, left before me. hhahhaha.. I think its because the lady who cut my hair liked talking to me, so she took her time cutting. heh. Anyways, one interesting about this 10-min salon is, they will give you the comb that they used on you. Cool eh.. Save them from washing and disinfecting. And yes, now i have a much neater head, but look like a boy man. Oh well..
Meet-up with the girls was nice, but also expensive, coz will kena psycho to buy stuffs. hahahaha. Thanks to pj, i bought a pair of shoes/pumps. Never mind, just got pay, so can spend. heh...

last saturday night was our annual Docent Bash at the Zoo, and the theme for this year was, SUper Heros and Villians! So naturally, almost everyone dressed up according to the theme, and we (the PP ppl) all came with towels as our cape! There was Catwoman, Zorro, the Scream, Huang Fei Hong, and even Terrorist all under one roof. It was like a Comic party; colourful and quite enjoyable. Oh, not forgetting a belated birthday sing-along and cake-feasting for Haniman. Happy 26th Bro!
But i must say i was pretty suay while going home from the zoo. I reached AMK just a little after 11pm, and i saw bus 24 went off. Thinkin that there bound to be more coming, i waited for almost 30 mins for the next one. Only then i realised that the last 24 was the one that already left. So nvm, i walked to the mrt, hoping to catch the last train towards Marina Bay. But the moment i stepped into the station, i saw the train has just left. How suay can someone get you tell me. Damn it, so i walked to the bus stop hoping to catch bus 25. Luckily i didnt miss it, but i reached home ard 1am.

I declare that im not made to do window shopping. After 3 hours of walking ard town on Sunday, my feet now are bloody sore. And the best thing was, i was only wearing slippers while walking. Think im born to do one thing only; SLACK.
