Gotten news from my company that i have to go attend a part time course on Import and Export procedures on every wed for 5 weeks. Felt like im taking up logistics or something, which is something i have no interest in!! The ironic part was that I was asked to find out about this course online.. never did i expect that I will be taking it. U shld see the topics i have to learn in that short 5 weeks/3 hrs per week course, its plain scary. One full list of modules, all so unfamilar to me. Think my company knows i have intentions of quitting, thats y ask me go for courses, to stop me from resigning. Haiya, if only they are willing to sponsor my studies, which i doubt they ever will, since the degree got absolutely nothing to do with this line at all. Oh well, since got chance to learn something new, might as well right, so i will stop complaining and enroll for that course.
Oh and regarding my previous on Grey's anatomy, think i saw wrongly la.. hehehehe.. only next week stop coz of Oscars, GA will resume the week after next. Heng ahh... heehhehee.. But im very positive that i saw the words SEASON FINALE in TODAY leh.. weird...

2 weeks ago i discovered a very good tv program, Grey's Anatomy, and was thinking to myself, "Wah good good, now Monday night is a stay-home night (coz of desparate housewives also)" and was happily thinking that i can watch it for the next month or so. But to my ultimate horror/disappointment/dismay/watever-negative-words-u-can-find, i read from TODAY that tonight's episode will be the season finale!! Wah i tell you, really 'deng deng denggggggggg' ah.. Basket, y must channel 5 do this to me.. ~~~So sad, so sad, its a sad sad situation~~~~

Friday was out drinking with the gals (& guys) at Timbre again, and besides the down part of waiting for like eons for seats and only to have it taken away, it was a great night. The band made everyone high, and i like that..
After a late night out, waking up early next morning was a real killer man, but for the sake of free movie tixs, i still dragged myself out of bed, and i think pj and pris felt the same way too. Haha.. Nanny McPhee is a hearwarming movie for everyone to watch, cute la the show.
After the show, went down to bedok interchange to get the car and drove to this ulu place near reservoir for TOUCH!! Like sooooo long never play le, and the feeling was good man.. And for that day, i was a firefighter!! hahaa.. coz was playing for SCDF, so have to pretend pretend to be one.. hahahaaa.. Occasional touch is like how fun can, beats joining club and competitive games. Even tho the sun was blardy strong and glaring, i dun find myself any darker.. Put too much sun block le, damn it...
Sunday was Lazy Sunday!! Finally after so long, i can sleep in late!! And my parents took off as well! So i only woke up when i smell lunch at 12 noon.. hahahaha... shiok sia.. wake up den eat. hahaha.. thats life.. But my dream was smashed by my mum who ordered me to sweep and mop the floor and was the dishes while she and my dad happily go out for karaoke session. Prrrrrrft. Never mind, since its their off day, i will do as told. So, i spent my afternoon sweeping and mopping the floor, watching TV and lazing on the couch in between the chores. The satisfaction of cleaning up the house was there man.. And i made sure no one dirties the floor, coz i really will scold... Hahahaa..

- Must not ask me where im going, wat im doing, i.e, must give me freedom, but when i call for him, he has to be free (muuuhahahaaaa)

Since last friday Pris couldnt come out and celebrate her birthday, i went out with my diver frens instead. And coincidentally, it was uncle James' birthday as well!! Met them at an outdoor bar called Timbre, and i tell you, it was a very nice and relaxed place. There's everything u need to relax, Food, Beer and Live Band. How good is that man.. Plus the great company of frens, it was fantastic. But abit warm and dark ah, but its still acceptable. This place is behind Substation (in front of the old National Library) so quite convenient.
It has be awhile since i got high on beer, and really, drinking on an empty stomach can get u high damn fast. We all were having so much fun with the music that i think the other tables thot we were really gone.
Dunno why, that day, it wasnt just Pris' and uncle James' birthdays, alot of other people were birthday girl and boy as well. Y is everyone born on the 17th Feb? heh... Anyhow, it was really nice to see uncle James again (i made him sound old but hes only 35), and am glad that he liked our last minute bday card (postcard koped from the bar) and present (which i havent pay yet). We think he looks like this jap actor , while some thot he look like Simon Yam (hong kong actor).
Any resemblance??? hahahahaaaaaaaaa.... I love this guy..

last week i went for a dance production by NUS Eusoff Hall (coz of my bro of course), den my ou xiang was sitting 3 seats away from me!! Muuhahahaahahhahaaaa.. He's my bro fren and i just think that his theatre acting is quite good.. Anyway.. after the performance while waiting for my bro to come out, the lead actor of the play walked passed. While watching the play, i already found him very familiar, just couldn't place him anywhere, and when i saw him walk passed, i was 100% confirm with a chop very certain that i knew him and even talked to him before. But i couldnt be bothered to crack my brain to think so i let it go. That night jsut as i was abt to sleep, i suddenly remembered where i met him! We were from the same station at last year's stan chart marathon!!!! To think that we spent the whole morning and afternoon together and i dun recognise him after 2 months.
P.S: This entry is to once again remind myself and everyone else how freaking small Singapore really is, and most of the time, its a very scary feeling...

ok, was asked to blog something, so yeah... wanted to follow ching's way of blogging, once a month, but never mind.. try it some other time...
A few days ago when i was going home from work, i saw a very heart-warming (to me la) act at Tanah Merah mrt. If you think its about old people or pregnant ladies, WRONG! So carry on reading and dun think so much...
Ok as i was saying... While walking to the ticket gate to get out, theres this brother (elder) and sister (younger) in front of me, and they were holding hands. Already i found that very nice of the brother, coz he is quite old, ard 15 16 yrs old, and yet he is willing to bring (or fetch) his younger sis ard, less holding her hands. So at first i tot maybe the sis wants to hold hands, so never mind, they continued walking, and i continued walking behind them.
When we reached the escalator, being the civilised singaporeans, they stood on the left side, so they are not holding hands anymore. So tuk tuk tuk, we went down the escalator, and then reached the bottom. While walking along the walkway, the brother was in front and sis at the back. then the bro stuck his hand towards the back, indicating for the sis to hold the hand. At first the sis didnt see so didnt hold, but the bro insisted on even waved his hand at her, so she happily skipped towards him and held it.
I felt the whole scene sooooooooooo sweeeet, that strong sibling love. I really wanted to go up to the bro and tell him what a good brother he is, but i dun want them to think that im a weird aunty or something.
then i started thinking back to my younger days, whether my own bro ever did anything so caring to me anot. Sadly, i cant think of any... haizz, (in hokkien) Wa Pai Mia!!!! then i think again, if i have a younger sibling, will i be so caring? My first tot was, OF COZ I WILL! MAYBE EVEN MORE!!! But but but, i tot again, maybe not, coz from the way i treat my younger cousins.. lets just say im a very strict cousin. Oh well, i will only know if i have a younger sibling.

Happy Chinese New Year!! Gong xi Gong xi, everyone Fa big big this year....
I think in the year of the DOg, i have seen the most fireworks and firecrackers in my entire life, and the fireworks were all seen by accident. hahhaaa.. first fireworks was at Chinatown. Went down there at 11.59pm on Chu Xi, just nice to catch the fireworks. WAt a way to start the new year. Den went to squeeze in Chinatown. Pls remind me not to go down there anymore next year... The crowd is plain scary la, and no one knows why they are there for. While we were slowly moving into one of the lanes, 2 tourists asked in random why every1 is heading in that paticular direction. Dunno y but i started laughing coz i know no one can answer that.
Chu Yi morning, well, late morning to be exact, went down to Mandai to pay respect to grandma. I think we are a damn cock fambly man.. So many of us go, but no one bought flowers.. alamak, cannot stand sia... hahahaaa... And its quite amazing to see so many people there on 1st day of CNY. Everyone not pantang and best of all, most of them wearing red. power... The other place we went was my uncle's house, where everyone, esp the kids, were high on gambling. And i lost a total of 22 bucks, alot went to my mum, who had to be the banker. sian, everytime she banker, i will lose money. it wasnt until 10pm that we decided to call it a day.
headed for m'sia on monday, to a place called Masai, where we stayed at a kelong resort. Very boring place, no entertainment at all, so we gambled again. Took a "loan" from my mum coz i didnt bring a single cash, and i returned everything back to my mum. AGAIN. Dunno is my mum heng or i damn suay at gambling man. When you are on holiday, the only things you do are eat and sleep. Thats considered the entertainment for me. The little bbq at night was damn noisy, too many fire crackers to blow up. Hahahahahaaa... but it was really fun, and its something you cant do in Singapore.
Returned to singapore on tues afternoon and practically slacked the remaining day away watching tv. The second round of surprise fireworks came when we were driving along ECP. Suddenly we saw fireworks appearing in the sky! It was so exciting!! Dad den pulled over so that we could have a better view. I tell you, it was magnificant. It felt like the fireworks were falling onto me. Loved it.. and its not everyday you can stop at an expressway to catch fireworks. HAhahaha... so cool..
