Argh! Was totally burnt by the sun over the entire Sunday. Went down to Bedok reservoir to catch the Wakeboard World Cup competition. It was a bang! Enjoyed all the stunts and the male wakeboarders, hah! Pics will be up quite soon, so be patient. Im ready to take on the wakeboarding world, and for a start, we will be going wakeboarding next month! cant wait cant wait! But now, i cant wait for my face to stop being so bloody red! ITs so embarrassing to walk around the streets, coz everyone keep looking like there is no tomorrow. I had to keep facing down so that people wont notice my face. Wheres the freedom man!!! At least now the burn is subsiding, thanks to the aloe vera gel. It really works well, brought the heat away and reduce the redness. $11.55 well spent.

Tooth has been aching since sunday, suspected it to be the wisdom tooth growing again, but didnt really bother coz normally the pain would go off a few days later. But not this time round. It was still aching as bad ytd, so i had to go to the dentist. Took MC and spent 26 bucks for consultation, a mouthwash that will numb my entire mouth, a gel to apply to the sore gum, and some paracetamol. The dentist said that the wisdom tooth is growing quite well and not really affecting the other teeth, there is no need to extract it at the moment. Honestly, i would rather he extract it, coz maybe i could have taken more MCs! hahahaha, but heard from my colleague that to extract a wisdom tooth, it cost more than $100! So disgustingly ex!
Now the pain has gone down alot, but im still having trouble swallowing, eating, and even smiling. I have come to realise that simple actions that are so effortless last time seem so difficult now. Once the pain is totally gone, i promise to appreciate ALL of these small actions and be thankful that i can do them so easily. Lucky i didnt have to wait till i break my legs before i realise that walking dont come to everyone so easily.

And it has been raining cats and dogs and even elephants these few days. At this rate the rain is coming, how will my undies ever get dry!!! I want some dry undies to wear! Oh and toking about rain, have you ever noticed how beautiful the raindrops dance among themselves when its really pouring very very heavily? When you have the time, look out of the window during heavy rain. you will see, amidst the downpour, that a section of the rain will be going the other direction and they seem lighter, as if they are floating and playing around with each other. Its realllly pretty, and you will pray for more rain, well, at least i did.

i found out that the orange color background of my blog is blinding me (and all of you... i noe i noe, stop complaining already!) but i just cant find another nicer color. Black bkground means i have to change my wordings to white, white bkground is too boring, how about dark yellow or maroon? Think maroon suits me better than yellow, but still needs a little time to adjust to the color change. Ahhhhh, my eyes feel so much better, relieve ah... Wanted to change it to amber color, but stupid blogger dont recognise and it turned out to be white color.

I also found out that my pair of trusty Adidas sneakers since poly days is slowly wearing off under my feet. Sooner or later, the front part of the sneakers will fall out, i just know it will. Am i going to do anything about it? Nah, coz i dont think i will remember the openings when im at home, which means i wont glue them up. yup...

And i found out this morning that my sore throat had gotten worse., but y am i not surprised? When it was at its beginner stage ytd, did i take care of it? Nooooo.. instead, i had laksa yong tao fu for lunch, and chocolate cake also. Den today, did i try to take care of it? Nooooo... instead, i had chocolate biscuits and cake for breakfast, and going to have fried mee for lunch later. How clever.

Been wanting to blog since ytd, but from 2pm all the way to 530pm, i only had "i wanna blog about my dearest, one and only brother" typed out. Not because i dunno wat to write about, its coz i dun have the time to go recall back and type it all down. Hopefully i can finish this post today.

MY BROTHER

21 years of living together with him, im glad that this sibling relationship has never once turned sour. My brother has always been more than just an elder brother, he is also my guardian, my supporter, my fren, my idol. He has been such an influence to me that i will wonder what my life will be without him. For example, it was him who introduced rugby to me, him who started my love for diving, and im also quite sure that it was him who made me so.... boy. Since young, I have always joined him in his games, but i dont recall him joining in my games (playing with barbies and strawberry shortcakes). From He-Man to WWF to soccer, watever boys-games he played, i played too. But we were not all alike.
As a kid, my bro was the most obedient boy anyone has seen, quoted from family, relatives and other elders. Bringing him out was never a hassel for he would not cry, would not ask to buy stuffs, and would always be in sight. adults seldom have to worry about him, thus making him very very well-loved and everyone wants to bring him out. You can say that he is the goody goody boy, and until now, i still dont understand why was he such a freaking obedient kid. It made me looked really bad.
On the other hand, I was also well-loved, but in a very notorious way. As a baby, i drove my parents mad. The cradle has to be constantly moving, and be done MANUALLY. It was tested with the automatic machine, and my cries could be heard miles away. No one dared bring me home coz i would, without fail, make a mess out of everyone's house. Im always up to mischief, so adults cannot leave their eyes away from me. I think all my bro's negetive points are on me, and almost all my good ones are with him, thus the vast difference in characters.

Study wise, he is always the smarter one ever since primary school. Good schools all the way until now, and he is still doing relatively good. I must admit that i was really fed up with people constantly comparing the 2 of us, and at one point of time, i didnt like my bro because of the comparisons. But thankfully, i didnt allow those words affect our relationship. Come to think about it, i was quite silly to take all those so hard.
The older we got, our family bond also grew stronger. Even though now my bro is living in school hostel, i felt that this actually made us (including mum n dad) alot closer. Maybe like wat the saying goes, you only know how to treasure someone when they are away. How very true. We always try to make it a point to have dinner every Sunday, and my bro sometimes will come home on a Saturday night so that more time is spent together. Nowadays, when you put the 2 of us together, we will just crack the entire place up with the real stupid things that he do. i sometimes wonder, whos the elder one over here, him or me????

Im just so proud to have a brother like him, and if time were to turn back, i will still want to be his younger sister.

been wanting to take half day off today coz its a friday, but didnt get the chance to submit my leave form. Luckily i didnt waste that half day, coz i was out of the office running errands for my boss from 1230pm! Was asked to go down to the indonesia embassy to get my boss' visa, reached there ard 1.15pm, the collection dept not yet open. So i took a cab down to orchard to shop abit and also get my long-awaited Mayday-Singtel Card. Went back to the embassy at 2.45pm, stayed there for an hour coz of some really irritating problems, den left that place empty-handed. The ride back to the office was so shiok, i slept in the cab.
In short, i wasted the entire afternoon in town doing everything but work. hahahhaa.. Main work purpose didnt achieve, but my desires are all fulfilled... he he he.. but the sucky thing is i still have to come back to office. Dung. If only i could stay ard orchard since i will still be going down there later. Oh well, its ok, lucky cab fare can claim. hohohoh.
Oh and i saw an ex colleague from the zoo at the NYDC outside Hereen. such a coincidence.

after so long of not watching a movie, i finally caught one ytd. Tim Burton's Corpse Bride was a very different animation from all those that i have watched so far. The characters are drawn very differently, more of WEIRD if you ask me... but its refreshing to see something so off from the norm. The whole storyline is simple, a boy was match-maked to a girl from a supposedly rich fambly, he got nervous during wedding rehearsal, ran into the woods at night, rehearsed the lines himself, accidently put the wedding ring into the finger of.. you guessed it, the COrpse Bride! He tried ways to run, the corpse bride chased bla bla bla... i nthe end, the boy still married his human bride, and the corpse bride turned into thousand butterflies. Its quite a touching story, with a lot of singing in between. Not bad not bad.

Drinking on a monday night is actually a very good idea. makes the week seems shorter, and it can drive away the bluey feeling somewhere in the brain... And if the pub has live band and was in conjunction with Oktoberfest, its even better. Plus a few frens to drink and enjoy the night with, its plain perfect. Thats exactly what happened yesterday. Had a hell of a time drinking, singing, dancing, toasting and trying hard to speak German. That's one place we will frequent again soon for sure.

I have decided not to go anywhere during december. just going to hang ard this island and probably take the last few days of december off and slack all the way to year 2006. One thing is to save money, and the other, well, theres no other reason. Hah. Maybe it wil be safer to remain in sg, but then again, i might just get stung by an Aedes mosquito one fine day. Oh well, then i will just drink more beer coz i heard alcohol in blood wards off mosquitoes. I really wonder how true that is.

I declare bankrupt for this month. Please be good and try not to ask me out.
