Flung my driving test again. but i dont feel as bad as the first time, maybe becoz im totally to blame this time round. I really felt like laughing out loud after i walked out of the reviewing room. I got a total of 38 demerit points, hahahaaaaaaaaaaaahahaaaaa, power man. Hahaaa... Suay suay kena both the 8 pointers, how to not fail like dat? Think i was too relax thru out the test, drove like i got no government hahahaaa.... almost bang into a car, and carry on turning when the green arrow was already gonna stop flikering. hehehe..... But at least this time i have no immediate failure, so im happy!!

I cant wait for May to come quickly, besides the 2 public holidays, i might be goin for a 1st Aid course from the 16 to 19 May, which means i dont need to go to work for almost the whole week! Then, i might also be goin Tioman to get my scuba license!!!! Aaahahhahaaaaa.... if everything goes as planned, i will leave for Tioman on 20th May den return on 23th May, with a label that says " Certified Open Water Diver ". Aaahahahaaaa....... cant wait cant wait..... I have already counted, i will only be working for 16 days in the month of May! But come to think of it, i will be 'returning' all of it in June and July, coz theres NO PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AT ALL!!!!

Im sure July will be a good month, coz everyone will gather in a small country call Singapore! prayin real hard to which ever gods are up there : PLEASE LET JUNE PASS BY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE PLEASEEEEEEE..... Everyone, pls also cross ur fingers and toes.

Today the president of my company came from USA to 'visit' us. I was told specifically to wear formal, no t-shirts n jeans. heh.... Just because of the president, my feet has to suffer the blisters from the stupid heels. Hes like a cute old man, short n granpa-ish.

Im on half day today coz of my driving test later on. 2nd attempt, hopefully can pass ah..... Pls let me pass... I totally hate the sight of the L plate ah, and like wat D says, i wanna upgrade to a P plate!!!!!

Did i mentioned abt my lunch last friday? Free lunching again coz of Secretary Week. Went down to Changi Village Hotel for japanese food. Nice. Had Unagi n sashimi set. 29 bucks for that. Den had Black Sesame ice Cream, very very good. Waited for like 20mins for the 1 scoop of ice cream, we guessed that it just arrived from japan la. that 1 scoop of ice cream costs 6 bucks. Shiok ah. i wanted more, but paiseh.... heh....

Got a phone call from someone very dear this morning, breaking a news that i have never expected it to come from her. I tot such thing will not happen so close to home, but it did. It first came as a shock, but as i talked to her, shock turned to relieve as she seems to be truly happy about it. Its also glad to hear that the closest people ard her are supporting her, and not choosing to adandon her. Of course i will be standing with her thru it, disallowing anyone to hurt her in watever ways possible. Im just hoping dat things will go the way she wants it to be and everything will turn out fine. Everybody will still love you no matter what happens, esp ME. Take good care of yourself.

.ATTENDED THE BESTEST TOURNAMENT EVER IN MY LIFE OVER THE WEEKENDS.

Live rugby action at its greatest, performed by top teams like New Zealand, Fiji, South Africa and England, just to name a few. It was a blast to be able to catch all these action at the national stadium, tho i was almost fried under the scorching sun. My poor face, back n thighs were totally burnt, n not forgetting my dying voice that makes me sound like a toad now. You may think im mad, but i tell you, its worth every single bit of it. Nothing compares to the adrenaline rush when the KIWIS did the HAKA right in front of my very eyes, TOPLESS!! How awesome is that! Also, the excitement when Team Singapore scored a try against the Aussies! And that little pinch of disappointment when FIJI lost to Australia by a mere 2 points during the Shield Finals.

Besides professional rugby, the other crowd puller was this local percussion band call WICKED AURA! They totally rocked the stadium with their drums, shakers and smooth tempos. Where ever they go, the crowd will definitely be on their feet and moving to the beats. So when they stationed themselves right beside us, we all let down our hair and were just partying with the players and everyone else! We were all high on rugby and music, with the help of some BEER! Wicked Aura is really very WICKED!!!!!!!!!

Much to my delight, the KIWIS beat the English in the Finals and clinched the champion position in this round of the IRB Sevens. The KIWIS were just too stong for the Englishmen to handle, and the final score was 26 to New Zealand, 5 to England. Excellent excellent stuff, enjoyed every minute of it and im still craving for moreeeeee!!

Have some pics to share with you all, so that u guys will have a better idea of wat im tokin abt...

When you wear a new top or pants, you will try to make sure that it doesnt get stained on anything. But sometimes, you just cant avoid it if they come looking for you. This is exactly wat happened to me the entire day. First, i wore this new lime green top i bought recently to work today. And i was carrying a monk's bag, made of cloth and is maroon in colour. So i happily slinged it across my body like how i do it everyday, den after a while, i noticed a mark on the upper part of my top. Thinking dat it was water stain and dat it would go off when its dried up, i left it alone. When i reached my office, i put down my bag and the mark is still there. Feeling weird, i went to the toilet to have a better look thru the mirror. To my horror, my BACK is stained wif some browny thingy. Instantly, i realised that the colour of my bag ran n stained the front n back of my BRAND NEW TOP. N thats not the end.

Lunch time came, and i was happily eating bee hoon n curry chicken that the pantry auntie prepared (again). Halfway thru, the curry had to find somewhere to fly to, so it chose my top. And wala! theres 2 dots of curry stain on my BRAND NEW TOP, together with the already ugly stain from my bag. Now, i cant even show peeps the BRAND NEW TOP that i just bought, coz its hiding in my jacket, too ashamed to be seen by anyone. To make matters worse, i have to choose TODAY to go out for dinner. How great. The only consolation that i have now is that the stain is not permanent (im praying and crossing my fingers n toes that it can be washed off), and thank goodness this top only cost me a little less den 20 bucks. If its a hundred over dollar top, i wll just jump down n die. But then again, i will never spend that kind of money on a top. Feel so dumb today, and i pity my BRAND NEW LIME GREEN TOP. Haiz.

Saw an article just now on the web saying that dark chocolates contain this thing call Flavanols. It's said to lower blood pressure and improved sensitivity to insulin. It is also responsible for heart benefits. These substances, which are found in plant-based foods, stimulate production of chemical messengers that help keep the lining of blood vessels healthy.

Flavanols also delay - but don't stop - blood clotting. So you have less platelet aggregation, which means you're less likely to get a blood clot that might cause a heart attack or stroke. As potent antioxidants, Flavanols also help fight free radicals, destructive molecules that are implicated in heart disease and other ailments.

But the benefits of dark chocolates vary. It depends on the choice of cocoa beans, how long the beans were fermented (more fermentation kills more flavanols), the roasting process and the alkalinization process. But 1 such dark chocolate dat contains the right amount of Flavanols is Dove Dark. Two Dove Dark Promises contain enough flavanols to provide health benefits. There's no need to feel guilty about eating it because these are not empty calories.

Chocolate contains three types of fatty acids, in roughly equal proportions: stearic, palmitic and oleic.
Palmitic is a saturated fat that would raise your cholesterol, while oleic acid is unsaturated and will actually lower your cholesterol. Stearic acid has no effect on cholesterol. The overall effect of the fats in chocolate has been shown to be neutral.
Chocolate also contains essential minerals, including magnesium, copper, potassium and (in milk chocolate) calcium.

As far as calories go, it is crucial to pay attention to how much chocolate you're eating. One regular-size pack of plain M&Ms clocks in at 240 calories, and nine Hershey's Kisses will do about the same damage. A bar of Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate will set you back 220 calories, but at least you can say that those aren't empty calories; in fact, your heart may even thank you for indulging.

So ladies, next time when u wanna satisfy ur choco cravings, go for DARK CHOCOLATES!! At least you wont feel so guilty while sinking you teeth in it.

Yeii i have finally changed my blog layout.... have been searching for a nice one for about a week now, but to no avail. Its either the skins are not nice or it has already been frequently used on other blogs. And when i found one that i like, it doesnt go with the tag board this n that. But luckily, i got a saviour who sent me the purrrrrrfect blogskin right into my arms. Thanks PJ!! Gald you still remb abt it, coz i totally forgot that u ever mentioned to me regarding this orangey template. N the best thing? Everything fits nicely in, tho it took me almost an hour to make it look decent. But ah, the more i look at it, the more loud the orange becomes, and it does hurt my eyes at times. Aiya, lazy to change back la, so i guess my (n your) eyes are gonna suffer for a little while.

Pantry auntie cooked lunch for us again! This time, its curry Yong Tao Foo!! Pantry Auntie's cooking is really good man, main dishes n desserts are nothing to her la.... she used two rice cookers (1 big n 1 small) to cook the yong tao foo and in abt 2 hrs, EVERYTHING was wiped out!! N believe it or not, all the eaters were women, and got only 7 of us (including pantry auntie herself). Its damn good la, everyone had 2 full servings or more tho we were already full to the throat area. The thot of the curry, the bean curd, the veggies (most delicious of all) and other misc items make me wanna have another big wok of it ah.... tell me how am i supposed to not grow fat while working in this company? almost every week there's something sooo filling to eat at no cost on my part. My oh my oh my, *sigh*... I must be mad to be sighing la, im enjoying myself with all these good food that i dun give a shyte abt the after effects.

My trip to the Zoo on Sunday was a fun one i would say, tho im all alone. sometimes its nice to walk ard places by yourself and just enjoy doing wat u really like. Anyways, reached the zoo ard 10am for the docent talk, after dat, waited for like almost an hour before it was my turn to go for the interview. Interview wise, think i did farely good for it. Once the interview was over, conquest of the zoo begun! it was a very hot mid-noon, n because of that, i dun feel like doing much walking. Kinda just covered 1/2 the zoo, but the orang utan n manetee enclosures were 2 definitely must-go places!
My baby manetee has grew bigger, and there's a new baby in town! its only 5 months old n its sooooooooo adorable!! Sat there and looked at these beautiful creatures for a good 20 minutes before moving to my beloveds.. The orang utans are still behaving silly, and 1 thing i noticed in them was that they are frenlier now. All of them were trooping down to the bank of the water barriern just sitting n basking in the sun n letting tourists take up-close pictures of them. Last time, they would always stay real far from the water n real far from everyone. It was then i saw someone familiar... Kak Letchmi! totally didnt expect to see her on a sunday afternoon at the zoo! Went over to say hi n found out there was a 'wedding at the zoo' exhibition going on. Wasnt interested in it, so i carried on with my voyage. Was in time to catch the primate show "Spirits of the Rainforest". Still the same stuffs as b4, n tho i have seen it countless times, im still amused by it.
Was walking back to the direction of the manetee after the show n i spotted a few kids inside the enclosure. Curious, i went to check it out, n to my pleasant surprise, its the manetee feeding time! i have always wanted to touch the babes, so i just forked out 5 bucks as a contribution without heasitation. It was so fun i tell u, they truly are gentle giants. when i put the food near their mouths, they use their lips to take the food in, not teeth, so they totally dont hurt you. N the manetees feel softer than wat i thot it would feel. So fun so Fun!
Went for my second show for the day, the "Sealion Show"! Cute la the sealions, n damn smart also. Time check after the show, 3pm. Whoa its about time to go home, but b4 i left, i stopped by the wedding exhibition again to meet some old colleagues and also caught some of bridal gowns catwalk. No comments on that. Started to make my way out, den i looked up, the skies were turning black very fast. Once i exited out of the zoo, it started to pour, but such situation would not stop me from having Ben n Jerry's Ice cream! So at last, i got to satisfy my craving for BnJ and i felt goooood. Had a single scoop of Phish Food with coated cone, n it cost $4.50. Man, i should just go buy 1 whole tub la, but heck la. Knocked out in the ride back home.
In total, i spent like $11.50 in the zoo, n to think that i got in for free. I can really spend la. But, its Money well-spent!

The older you get, the less April Fools DAy mean anything to you, it has evolved into just another ordinary day. There's not even a single tot of wanting to go out there and trick someone, but im still surpirse dat there are peeps who still remb abt April Fools. This is one day that almost every grown-ups has forgotten. No wonder the older you get, the more stress you will be, and get less happier n less happier by the dAy. Oh well, welcome to the LIFE.

Lets tok abt driving again. After 2 months of not driving a manual car, im totally impressed with myself yesterday *smirk*. Not only did i not stall the bloody car, my driving speed was on par with the other vehicles out on the roads (which means i was driving at least @ 60km/h). Not forgetting that its night time. Fwah so fun can.... thrilling la to drive at night, cannot see and all, n yesh, ytd was the first time i drove when the sun went to bed. But i think i was more on the reckless side, coz i almost knocked down a banglah at the traffic light. Hey, it wasn't all my fault k, he was also at wrong. The green man was already flashing n he just dashed across the road w/o even looking out for cars. Somemore at night difficult to spot him ah, luckily he was wearing a white shirt, was wondering wat's the white thingy crossing the road, den i step brake. And ya wendy, dun worry, i know that a driving license is an asset and i wont give up so easily de. Just feeling lazy la.... heh...

Went for a meeting abt an hr ago, every1 in the company, including the peeps from the manufacturing side were present, and u know wat? the total strength in my company is only say, 20 peeps or less? Really small la the strength size... Anyhow, the meeting was abt enforcing safety measures in the company blah blah blah...... Just 10 mins into the meeting and i felt like sleeping le. But i was sitting right infront of the VP dat i had to open my eyes hugeee.... Might have to attend this orientation thingy next tues, where i guess there will be alot more talking goin on.... Tido sia....

Going to D's later to play mahjong i think, but i cant be able to stay till late coz i have trng tmr at 9 freaking am all the way @ NUS. Think i will go her place, clear her Tim Tams for her, chill a little and ciao back home. Hmm, but y do i have this really strong feeling dat im gonna go back home like 4am in the morning? Didnt wanna go for trng tmr, but bcoz i didnt attend tues' n wont be goin for sun's trngs, i think i better appear At NUS field tmr morning b4 i get my butt kicked by coach. Tmr afternoon going to Ching sista's bday party, cant wait to jump into the pool of York Hotel. It betta be good man, or else........ my prediction is that the party will turn out good, coz there will be fun peeps (US!!!!!) ard, plus all the hard work Ching has put into preparing her darling sista's bday bash. So yea, looking forward to it, as if its my own sista's party ah.. hehhehee.... Sunday willl be the BIGGEST turning point of my entire life, its either i make it or break it. Im going for the Zoo Docent REcruitment talk cum Interviewwwwwww!!!! i know i know, u guys have heard this over n over, but im sure u all havent gotten sick n tired of it rite???? I know u guys love me too much hahahaaaaaaa.... Wat really excites me is that i get to enter the zoo FREE OF CHARGE! heheee... i have already plan to have a good long walk in the zoo after the interview. Make full use of this opporunity man, who knows, it might be the last time i enter the zoo for free. N im so gonna have BEN'S N JERRY'S ICE-CREAM on sunday!!! the only outlet is at the zoo, and im not letting this chance go by. The thot of it makes me drooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool... YUMMMMMMIIEE!!!!!!!

p.s: if u realised, this is a very long post, y? coz it consists of fri's sat's n sun's entries. Heh.....
