More Orks...

I'm continuing to work on the Ork boyz.

Finished 15 burna boys:

I also got the second batch of Tank Bustas done:

If your not familiar with these models they are from Kromlech. They are amazing models. I've got another batch of Tank Busta which will give me 30 total.

After them I will start on the FW Nob Bikers.

I'm also working on an Ork Village with kits from Kronlech as well. I'll post some shots of it soon.

Work continues on the Big Mek Junka...

I still need to do the lower turrets but I started doing some of the plating anyway because I was watching the telly and didn't want to get up to get more supplies. :)

I'd like to credit my wife with finding the lid I'm using as the top turret. I was looking all over the place for something and then she says how about this? I look at it and its the perfect size! Good job honey!

Forge World Kill Blasta PIP

I've had a kill blasta and kill bursta setting on my shelf for some time now. With the disappointment of the new guard codex I shifted my energy back to my orks and decided not to paint anything for guard at the moment. The new codex is fairly bland and seems to have less options than the one it replaced and really there is nothing new so I'll likely not mess with them much for a while longer.

Strangely enough the Orks continue to be fun even after all these years. So back to the Orks and their monstrous mekinations.

Here's a pic of it after the initial airbrushing.

Here's how it sits at the moment as I weather it. I need to still add some rust and paint all those cables. But its getting there...

I've prime the Kill Bursta red and will paint it after this one is complete. After that I will painting the Stompa in Bad Moon colors like this fellow here.
