Zagsnark Da Rippa - Warboss on Rocket Bike

Greetings,
    It's been a LONG time since I posted anything.  Not because I haven't been doing anything I just haven't had the motivation to post pics and what not.  I've actually painted a number of armies over the last two years.  Most recently I've been catching up on some Orks with the imminent release of the new Ork Codex.

    Photobucket changed their rules about sharing pics which messed up my blog which also made it very tough to want to keep going.  I may just take new pics of stuff and start over or move my pics somewhere else. UPDATE:  It seems that all the old photobucket pics are again displaying.

    Since Orks are my first, last and only true love (except my lovey wife and children of course) I figured I might as well post some pics.  Plus I got a new photo box I want to try out. :)

Blood Slaughterers

I picked up 2 more Blood Slaughterer for my khorne daemonkin.  I actually use them as mauler fiends because I can't stand the real models








They will be joining my existing Blood Slaughterer

With my Decimator, Brass Scorpion, and Contemptor my khorne daemon engines are coming along nicely.

Plagues for the Plague God

These are some other models I started years ago and then set aside.  Well, I decided to finish them up in anticipation of a nurgle daemonkin book; fingers crossed...

The Disco Decimator

I started painting this model quite a while back and finally got back around to finishing it up.  I use him as a forge fiend in my daemonkin army because I don't care for the dino bot looking GW forge fiend model.  I was going to magnatize his arms but I got lazy and just glued them.

Possessed Contemptor

Another great FW model that was a joy to paint.  I only wish I had more time to spending painting these days.  Oh well, just have to make the most of it.

FW Gal Vorbak Possesed Marines

These are some of the nicest minis FW has released in my opinion.  They harken back to first edition Chaos Marines where each figure was as unique as the last.  These were a lot of fun to paint and  I use them every chance I get.

More renegades. Why you may ask? why not...

Yes, I created another couple of renegade units.  I had the bits and was bored so I threw them together.  Do I need them? No.  Will I use them? possible.  Where they fun to build and will be fun to paint? YES!  One of these days I will need 100+ renegades on the board and when that day comes I will be ready.

Painting the Iron Hands

I've been paint the Iron Hands when I am able to carve out a bit of time. Its slow going but progress has been made. I've got 2 small tactical units done, 10 man sternguard unit done, 5 terminators 95% done, contemptor 60% done, mast of the forge 75% done. I'll just keep plugging away at these guys until they are finished. Here are some pics of the completed

Mek Boy Junka Part 3

I finally decided how to do the exhaust and the rest of the rear of the junka.  The main exhaust is made from a Kromlech kannon.  Smaller exhausts are extra killer kan exhausts.  I added a few fiddly bits here and there as well as the from blade.  Its ready for paint.

I'm not sure how to paint it just yet.  I'm still thinking about it and trying to decide what would look best and be the most enjoyable.
