Halloweenies ATC set - Belinda Spencer

 Hello Dusty Attic fans!!

It's Belinda here today to share some spooky but cute Halloween ATCs for The Dusty Attic featuring some of the new Halloween chipboard.

I started with a 12 x 12 sheet of kraft cardstock and altered it using various spray inks. Once it was dry, I added stencilling using texture paste with the Bats Stencil and heavy white gesso with the Spooky Faces Stencil. I then chopped up the sheet into ATC sized pieces.

I chopped up the Small Crooked Fences to fit on the ATCs and added those to each in their raw, unaltered form. I also kept the bats unaltered. The rest of the chipboard pieces were first coated with three coats of heavy white gesso before some of them were altered further using Posca Paint Pens and a Sharpie.

Here are the ATCs with the white gesso finished pieces. I added some Mini Stars to complete the night time look. I also finished each ATC with a Halloween Wordpl@y word.

And here are the ATCs that I altered using Posca Paint Pens and a purple Sharpie.

Here's a closer look at the individual ATCs:

Witches Ball - Kerstin Filou - Halloween Special

Welcome creative friends!

Kerstin is here again to inspire your for the new Halloween chippies at Dusty Attic.

I know that Halloween is not everyone's cup of tea and I'm also not the biggest fan from such crazy party nights, but nights I love to create with this funny spook, a lot of fantasy, in a dark foggy robe.

Last Halloween inspiration from me this year 😀!

Last full moon night in October and the little witch is invited to the midnight ball.

Of course, she doesn't know what to wear and stands forever
 in front of the mirror.

Her faithful companion tomcat Felix is waiting and  says
Damn it! What took thee so long???

He needs only a magical hat !

Beautiful Moment - Jen Burns - Mood Board Inspiration

Hello Dusty FANattics

I would like to share a layout I have created inspired by  October's Mood Board

This super cute photo of my Princess Grand Daughter made me lean more towards the Apricots and Pale Pink of the board.

The stunning challenge board ...

I have used lots of different chipboard which I have painted white to start with, then added colour to some pieces like the Mini Cherry Blossom below.
I have added an apricot paint the wiped/dabbed some of it off in places.

The Lace Border #3 Small

piece is perfect for down the side of this photo.

Same as the  Mini Marrakesh Trellis

that you can trim and add under any photo or paper stacks that you make to add interest and draw your eye to that spot.

The Flutterbies #1  has also been left white which adds brightness to a page.

The Doily #1   I have cut in half and put one half at the bottom of the photo and the other at the top which I have added Rub-Ons to.

Beautiful Moment Impact Title   has been coloured like the cherry blossom, adding paint then wiping it off in places, this time leaving a bit more colour behind.
