A card from scrap leftovers

Hello, this is Gunn
It is sunday and time for a new card from me. This is not just a card I think or.. maybe it is. I had to make a birthday card for a little boy.Suddenly I discovered a small peace of blue bling cardstock, not so big just a 8,5 by 13,5 cm big. Love that blue color. My mind started to work and I went true my leftover scraps for pattern papers and so on. I also wanted a pocket on this small one, and ofcours a liberian pocket was perfect.
Because there will be a tag with a greeting and some money to go.

This is my tag and there is place for writing on the back

This is the back of the card and the pocket, it suits the card perfect, no cutting or messuring. Just lucky on this one, fitted right on, Small buttons, chipboard star, brad with word and a charm. Text is norwegian and means: lots of hugs from all of us. I also used a Heidi Swap gost watch on the tag. And I used a MS punch.

This is the front. I love this boy, he seems to have fun, and that is perfect on a birthday card. Birthdays are suppose to be fun. Sentiment is Norwegian from Ett Trykk company and says: Happy Birthday, The small cars are buttons and the flower is prima.

I had so much fun making this card and the best part is that I got to use leftovers.  So get inspired to dig in your scraps and create something. And this boy is a part of the Boy oh Boy collection, you can find him here,

My charming cards!

It has been hectic in the Dingle house yet again, not much time for crafting so I thought I'd show you two of the "Charming" birthday cards I received for my birthday last weekend.

Thank you Karen and Lou! Seeing your cards on the screen is one thing but having them there in front of you is a completely different matter! Stunning!!!!

Monday Mojo

Yikes! I almost forgot the Monday Mojo this week! It's been quite a hectic weekend and it totally slipped my mind.

I took the chance to make a card for DH who is to be 40 in a couple of weeks. OK so it's not kind but he will see the funny side (unless his sense of humour gets left behind with his thirties!). I wanted to show you how the downloads can interact with photos, and how great pictures are on greeting cards. It has been a favourite embellishment of mine for years, you can' get much more personal than that!

The card uses Henry Hare from the Animal Magic collection to help me point out the crows feet around this poor man's eyes.

I made another sentiment circle and it's a little cruel, the wording reads "Age is not just a number, it's you getting old!". To soften the blow I placed a crown on top of his head (even though my daughter Aimee proclaimed it to be "girlie"). I think guys like a little humour on their cards, and lets face, you need someone to put a smile on your face when you hit the big 4-0! He he

...and here is the sentiment just for you if you have a 40 year old-to-be to make a card for. Click for large version then right-click and "save as". Usual copyrights apply.

Don't forget to enter yesterday's challenge.

Bye for now

Ballerina Birthday

Hello, only a few days till its June!! Wow! where has the time gone!
This card I made using a Dottie image from Dress up Dottie,I paper pieced her body & ballet shoes, then added my favourite Sakura Clear Gelly Roll glitter pen,I used Bloom Dots Cuttlebug folder for the oval embossed piece. Then I used Paper flowers for her tutu and around the edges to make a boarder, again using Sakura pen. I attached a Great Big Brad which I added a rub on to,also i used a rub on for the ribbon to say Happy Birthday. A very girly card and it really sparkles.
