Ski Night

I made 3 attempts to go up with my girl friend's this winter to ski. They all failed due to different circumstances. So a last minute trip worked...and to top it off we skiied for FREE! I went up with my amazing friend, Lisa (who everyone says looks like my sister). We had ourselves a blast!

More from Utah!

We went skiing at Deer Valley with my brother. He is the director at the Summit County Library and hooked us up with FREE passes. We are showing them off in the picture...they are Deer Valley bolos (VIP right there)! It was a gorgeous day with great skiing and we had an awesome time!!

We love seeing Kenzie, Dallin, Dan and Lisa!!

My parents are missionaries at the LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake and they had to go work on Saturday so I had my best college friends come up with their families and we had time to catch up. Briana and Natalie both have 2 girls as well. Here are the oldest girls checking out the birds!

This is a good chair to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in!

Julia, Mar, Briana, and Natalie! Such beautiful girls inside and out. I love them so much!

On Sunday Lyndsay and Tyler stopped by on their way home from Wyoming and we got to chat with them. Lilly and Dallin hit it off...they are both SO CUTE!! I am so blessed with the greatest friends of all time. I love Tyler and Lynds so much!

We had a few things to celebrate whilst we were there. My brother Dan and his wife Lisa had their 8th wedding anniversary. We had some pineapple (they went to Hawaii on their honeymoon) and played "Are you smarter than a newlywed." Then we celebrated my dad's 64th birthday. We decorated with balloons and a banner, played some Wii sports, watched an awesome video my brother made him, and ate Peach Cobbler!!
We got my dad that sign. When I saw it, I couldn't resist :)

Mini-Vacation

Doug's parents came to watch Allie for a few days so we could have a pre-baby getaway.
It was incredible. We went and stayed in a lodge at Schweitzer Resort. We went to "Alice in Wonderland," ate wonderful meals, went skiing on the most beautiful day with brand new snow from the night before, and enjoyed the outdoor hot tub.

Go ahead...judge me...I'm 26 weeks pregnant and did two things I probably shouldn't have...SKIING and HOT TUBBING. But it was perfect and I'm just perfectly wonderful after both. I'm converted to a yearly getaway now.

Thank you so much to Larry and Luanne for this special opportunity for us. Allie had the best time with them.
