Digital Two for Tuesday 62

This week we continue with some beautiful images from Harper's Bazar.  I am loving these and I hope you are too.  The artist Caroline Love Goodwin became a politician later in life.  She learned her craft in France which shows in her style.
Our guest host this week is Gunvor.  She has a busy career but still has time to create wonderful artwork. I love the flower accents she has added to her project and the dark background she has added behind the stamp.
Here is her bio in her own words.
"My name is Gunvor and I live in the eastern part of Sweden, about 70 kilometers north of Stockholm. I work full time as a lawyer and love to have a creative hobby in my spare time, that's why I love to craft. I have been stamping for 10 years but came in contact with digital stamps only this spring. They are a new challenge to me but I do love them."
You can see some more of Gunvor's work on her blog May the Ink be with you!.

Digital Two for Tuesday 61

Our images this week are a continuation of the images I have been posting the last week from Harper's Bazaar.  They are so much fun to work with.  On Sunday I made a series of 8 ATC's with some of these images but it has been raining so I haven't had a chance to photograph them.

This week we have a talented international artist Olga from Russia as our guest host.  It is so exciting for me to see people from around the globe enjoying the images I post.  The world has truly become a small place and of course art is the international language.  Here is Olga's bio in her own words  "My name is Olga. I am from Omsk, Siberia, Russia. I'm a loving wife and an engineer in the Technical University. I love everything new and interesting. I was attracted to the creation of cards over a year ago when I made invitations for our wedding. Since that time I love card making and learning new things.  I create greeting cards for my family and myself.  I love to try new technology and techniques.  I always learn something new.  You are welcome to see more of my cards on my blog."  http://angelic-page.blogspot.com/

Digital Two for Tuesday 59

This week we have two fun and different images.  Both are from the vintage book In Storyland which has turned out to be a treasure trove of images.  I challenged our wonderful guest hostess Dorcas with these images and she came up with the beautiful card below. I know I say it often but each time our guest host awes me with their talent and Dorcas is no exception.
Here is her bio in her own words.  "Hi! My name is Dorcas and I'm so happy to host today. A little bit about me: I am married to a very patient man and together we have a 12 year old daughter whom I home school. We share our country home with two cats and seven ducks here in North Carolina..I've been crafting for many years but have found my niche with card making and just love it so much!

I chose the cottage as the focus of my card making today. My husband is English and we lived in London for almost 7 years before moving to the States. It wasn't often we were able to venture out of the city but when we did we loved to explore the small villages round about. Needless to say I just love cottages to bits! On my card I have used Prismacolor pencils, K&Co papers, Celebrate It Ribbon, and embellishments by Recollection.  Grab your digis and go have some fun!"

You can see more of Dorcas's artwork on her blog http://dorcasdesigns.blogspot.com/.
Won't you take the challenge this week and make something beautiful with our challenge images.  If you do.  don't forget to post a link in the comments section of this post.

I Wish I Was At The Beach

Oh, I wish I was at the beach enjoying all kinds of unhealthy foods like french fries and popcorn and walking on the boardwalk.  It is definitely the dog days of summer her in the USA.  It has been a hot one.  I wish I had a little down time from work to enjoy the beach for a week but instead I will have to live vicariously through these lovely vintage beach images from the book In Storyland.  Enjoy.
