A scrapbook is the truth of who our parents are. It’s filled with their love, hopes and dreams.
We celebrate our successes, and show what we’ve learned from our mistakes.
We share the stories that are most important to us, share the values that define who we are, make the pages that really matter most.
We share ourselves with pictures and words, and that’s got to be one of the most important reasons to scrapbook.

Five Important Areas to Scrapbook
1. My History Speaks to Yours: Stories about your ancestors and your own growing up days. Every family has a story. What is yours?
2. Our Precious Memories: The good and wonderful things. This is the essence of who you are, and who your children will be. Document it and love it.
3. The Extraordinary Ordinary: Home is where the moments happen. Susan B. Anthony said, “Sooner or later we all discover that the important moments in life are not advertised ones, not the birthdays, the graduations, the weddings, not the great goals achieved. The real milestones are less prepossessing. They come to the door of memory.”
4. Get Real: Life isn’t all rosebuds and sugarplums. Record the hard times as well as the good times. What lessons did you learn?
5. Scrapbook Your Faith: What we believe contributes to who we are inside—our character. Themes such as thankfulness, values, wonder, doubt and forgiveness can be recorded in our books.
