Flaming Gorge Cabin

We took a quick two day trip up to Flaiming Gorge with the Browns. It was so much fun! Kingsley especially loved the trip, being outdoors and most of all fishing. We stayed in quaint cabins overlooking a beautiful lake.
In the afternoon we went out on the lake on paddle boats, and went fishing.
Kingsley was so excited when we caught a fish!

After we went back to the cabin and failed to get any of the kids down for naps, King had a blast sitting on the dock with his dad fishing and throwing rocks ;)
I just love all these photos of this daddy son bonding

I thought I could get some photos of our family in such a scenic place, but only Hudson was on board.
At night we ate some delicious chili and then roasted marshmallows. The kids loved hanging out by the fire with their sticks
It was so nice to be out in the fresh air where the kids could just run around and play while we relaxed. For some reason that night my boys slept so horribly :( Hudson woke up almost every hour crying, I think he was sick or teething but it was exhausting. Kingsley fell off the bed in the middle of the night and woke up with a bloody nose a couple hours later so we obviously didn't get much sleep between the two of them. Hopefully next year they will have an easier time sleeping.
How cute are these two buddies? Can't wait to go back next year!

Cheer Competition

A couple weeks back we did a girls trip to Las Vegas for my little sisters cheer competition. One of the highlights was visiting my cute grandparents in St George. They loved Kingsley & he of course loved them!
Trekking to Las Vegas with just my mom and sister turned out to be more difficult than we expected. My mother and I are not very good with directions, and we were a little nervous without my dad or Jeremy to lead the way. That dang iphone isn't ALWAYS correct and Vegas traffic can be a mess! Besides the stress of trying to find where we needed to go, it was nice to spend some quality time just the ladies.
(Well & King of course :))
Apparently these were the only pictures I took of King roaming around in our hotel room
Such a handsome guy this one.
We stayed at the wonderful Red Rock Hotel, and Prezley did awesome as usual. She is much more talented than I ever was that's for sure.
