New obsession

and it is not Twilight related. My Iphone has a Facebook app that you can download. So I did. I already had an account but I wasn't really using it all that much. Well it is another one of my new obsessions. I have found people on there that I have been looking for/wondering about since high school. I love that it is a great way to reconnect with those that we have lost touch with.

Kalaree is working on her YW project tonight. The fabric that the teacher bought is just crazy and it keeps snagging so I will have to sew some of the for her. But for the most part she is doing them herself. So crazy.

David is working again as usual. But we have our shopping say planned out. Next Monday I am taking a personal day and him and I are going to head out and get our shopping done.

I way over spent again last night. I found some great stuff at Goodwill for the girls room. I love when I stumble across things that are perfect. Plus it is amazing what you can find at the thrift stores you just have to be willing to look.

Kami has asked that I add the children's cricut to her wish list for Christmas. It isn't like the big adult cricut it is more of an die cut machine, less like the actually big machine.

I am currenty working on a table cloth for my dining room. I will post pictures when I finish it. I can't believe how busy crazy I am making my life right now. But I think that is what I need to do to keep from getting back in that poor me mood. Loves to all.

Finally some movement.

So almost a complete month later we are finally getting our van fixed. I have been playing phone tag with this place in Denver and I could not for the life of me get someone on the phone to arrange the repairs. Well today I finally called and demanded a supervisor and woohoo finally our van will be repaired. David is taking it in tomorrow to let them look at it and then he said they should be able to start the repairs next Monday. I will have a rental to drive while they are fixing it. I am so glad to be finally getting this done and over with. The funny thing is that I am also trying to settle the Dr. bill with it and they keep commenting that it is really early to settle this. I think that is hilarious that it would take this long to get everything in place to get it done and over with. Oh well.

I have great kids!!!

David ended up working last night. He was just going in to sign papers and they ended up keeping him till almost 5:30. Which was fine. I got home to find Kalaree and Kezri at the kitchen counter and Kalaree was helping Kezri wiht her homework. I started dinner, while they continued to work. Then we ate and the girls headed out to play. Lately though I have really enjoyed their little snipits. So I figured I would share those here. On our way home from the car accident. Of course once everything had calmed down. Kezri says, "I was shaking so hard my eyes were watering." UUMM your eyes were watering because you were crying. Got to love kids. Last night I thanked Kalaree for helping Kezri with her homework. Kezri replies, "I had to force her to do it." Oh the power of younger siblings. Kami is really afraid of Halloween. Dresses.

I finished the dress and even had them done before midnight. Kami's is really cute and Kezri's fits her. It is amazing how two different outfits can come from one pattern. This was the most simple pattern so I plan to make more. In fact I already have the fabric for Kami's next one. I am even thinking of doing the doll one to match for her with this next one. Both girls picked their fabric main fabric. Kami had to have both yellow and red, which surprising goes well together. Kezri picked sage green and pale pink. I got plenty of pictures of Kami's but when I went to take Kalaree's and Kezri's pictures today the battery on the camera was dead so I will have to get out and get some more later. Kalaree asked for a store bought outfit. Which is fine since now a days you spend the same amount on the fabric as you would if you bought it premade.
