I have so much to discuss.

But it all has pictures to go with it and I don't want to blog about it without pictures. The pictures are at home sitting on the camera waiting for me to download them. I am so far behind. David started on the outside lights. I am so hoping to get those done here real soon. We are celebrating Kezri's birthday today since on her birthday David has to work and won't be home till late. She is so excited. She wants to take a treat to her class but her teacher has asked the parents to donate a book in place of snacks. I like that idea a little better. But then Kami has snacks on Kezri's birthday and she is allowed to bring a special treat since her birthday is over the break. That has created all sorts of fun in our house. Kami is not liking Kezri having her birthday so close to hers it seems like hers is never going to get here for her. Oh the joys. Kami also has another loose tooth. It is the other top front one. I am thinking hopefully right around Christmas is when it will be ready. We did get a little more snow and 1/2 of our district got a snow day but not the school I work in or the school the girls go to. We just a late start. Our district has an automated calling system which they were able to try out the first time. It was hilarious listening to the parents this morning, complaining about the system calling all the phone numbers in it. The funny thing is that I got all three of my phone numbers called this morning at 5:30 am as a staff member and then again at 6:30 as a parent. Then there was some confusion about kindergarten so that phone call went out at 8:30. Again to all three of my numbers. So I have no idea why they were complaining. I will try to get to the pictures tonight. I should be able to and to post about Kezri's birthday. So watch for more to come.

Finally some movement.

So almost a complete month later we are finally getting our van fixed. I have been playing phone tag with this place in Denver and I could not for the life of me get someone on the phone to arrange the repairs. Well today I finally called and demanded a supervisor and woohoo finally our van will be repaired. David is taking it in tomorrow to let them look at it and then he said they should be able to start the repairs next Monday. I will have a rental to drive while they are fixing it. I am so glad to be finally getting this done and over with. The funny thing is that I am also trying to settle the Dr. bill with it and they keep commenting that it is really early to settle this. I think that is hilarious that it would take this long to get everything in place to get it done and over with. Oh well.

I have great kids!!!

David ended up working last night. He was just going in to sign papers and they ended up keeping him till almost 5:30. Which was fine. I got home to find Kalaree and Kezri at the kitchen counter and Kalaree was helping Kezri wiht her homework. I started dinner, while they continued to work. Then we ate and the girls headed out to play. Lately though I have really enjoyed their little snipits. So I figured I would share those here. On our way home from the car accident. Of course once everything had calmed down. Kezri says, "I was shaking so hard my eyes were watering." UUMM your eyes were watering because you were crying. Got to love kids. Last night I thanked Kalaree for helping Kezri with her homework. Kezri replies, "I had to force her to do it." Oh the power of younger siblings. Kami is really afraid of Halloween. Dresses.

I finished the dress and even had them done before midnight. Kami's is really cute and Kezri's fits her. It is amazing how two different outfits can come from one pattern. This was the most simple pattern so I plan to make more. In fact I already have the fabric for Kami's next one. I am even thinking of doing the doll one to match for her with this next one. Both girls picked their fabric main fabric. Kami had to have both yellow and red, which surprising goes well together. Kezri picked sage green and pale pink. I got plenty of pictures of Kami's but when I went to take Kalaree's and Kezri's pictures today the battery on the camera was dead so I will have to get out and get some more later. Kalaree asked for a store bought outfit. Which is fine since now a days you spend the same amount on the fabric as you would if you bought it premade. Plus she is at that age where it just isn't cook anymore and I totally understand. So she got a shopping trip just her
