Look what I did

I did my own background on this blog. This was not a premade template it was me creating it. I did get the graphics from a web site called Shabby Princess. Aren't you so impressed? I actually had to work in HTML. Go figure. Maybe there is a new hobby in this for me. Not for a while though.

I am still working on the girls Easter outfits. Kami's is really coming together and Kezri's is still waiting to be cut out. I am learning a ton while doing this. I promise pictures of them on them once they are all finished.

Some other good news for today is that David has an interview today at 1. This has been a weird thing coming about. On Tuesday he got a call and the guy on the other end of the phone simple says, "So, Mr. Smith, tell me about yourself." So David proceeds to tell him about his education and experience, etc. Then the guy says that he would like to meet with him and that David should call him on Wednesday. David called him on Wednesday and they set up a time to meet at 3:30 that day. Then at 3:00 the same guy told David that he wasn't able to get done that day what he needed to in order to meet with him, but that he would like to meet on Thursday at 1. So today David has a meeting already arraigned, hopefully this will work out. But we will see. It is rather interesting since David can't even find where he applied for a position with this company anywhere. But he has placed his resume with places like Promanix and what not and they could of sent it over. Who knows. Things seem to happen in the weirdest way around me and my family. I will keep everyone posted.

I am heading up the Opheikens family camping trip this summer and will start getting things out in the mail to everyone involved with that. It looks like it will be from July 3rd till July 11th. Come what days you can and leave when you must. Hopefully we will be able to get some real good everyone in the family there time this year and not a day here and there. Email me with any food ideas and job ideas so I can start working on all that.

Again, I have the word sucker tattooed on my forehead. Kezri is bringing home 3 snails from school. So we have a new family pets. I guess they did a unit on them and since they are considered "pests" they can't just release them into the wild. So if no one adopts them, then the teacher has to freeze them to kill them. I guess since we did away with the fish tank now I have one more thing to do. Oh Well, it will teach responsibility won't it. Mainly to me.

Work is going so much better. I am able to finally see the light at the end of all the evaluations. Plus it seems to be settling down.

We have Kami and Kezri's parent teacher conference next week. I am sure that both will be doing fine. Kalaree had a great report card this last time. I don't remember if I blogged about it. She had As, Bs and one C. Not bad for her. I am really impressed.

Kalaree has picked up the hobby of cross stitch. She is still struggling, I swear she is too much like me at times. She just wants it to be done and she doesn't want to take the time to do it right. Yes, I just admitted that I am impatient. But for those that know me that is no surprise.

Not much else going on. I will be sewing tonight and tomorrow night and most likely all day Saturday. As well as dying Easter eggs and getting a ham dinner together. Which I really can't wait for. I love ham dinners.
