I’ve just got home after an hour flight from KL via Subang Airport..

The ‘sit-drink-talk’ was fun…we had 2 crates of Special Brew, 2.5 crates of Carlsberg and 16 cans of Chang beers….

There were me, Mr Jew, Mr Brandon, Mr Donald, Mr Guz and Mrs Guz, Mr Alex and Ms Eva (Brandon’s gf)…I arrived at the KTM station an hour early than expected and I had to wait for over an hour for mr Brandon and Mr Jew to come and fetch me up then we went to Carefore, Subang looking for stool+table as well as meeting up with Mr Donald…we started the ‘sit-drink-talk’ session at about 5pm that afternoon with 16 cans of Chang beer (Mr Guz had not arrived yet with 4.5 crates beer supply)….I think because of the tiring journey I had earlier from Penang to KL, it affected me as well as Mr Jew who came from JB….we were not up to the full potential of once being recognized as ‘dewa’ (ni serita muda-muda lah ni…all day long drinking-karaoke until ‘soilang’; emptied your wallet to buy more alcohol..haha..)

We managed to finish up all 16 cans and I fell asleep for about an hour waiting Mr Brandon and Mr Don to return from buying some dishes for dinner (Ikan and Pari panggang) Mr and Mrs Guz arrived hours after then followed by Mr Alex who came couple more hours late….It was a surprise and a happy moment to see Mrs Guz who’s currently 8 months pregnant…congratulation!!

The night was fun although it was just a decent ‘sit-drink-talk’ session…we had catch-up chat and non-stop drinking but it was a shame we didn’t even manage to finish 2.5 crates of carlsberg...imagine that!! We finally ‘kecundang’ at around 4am on Sunday (not drunk but tired)…..It’s been always a wonder to us, every time we had some kind of drinking session in KL we never really get to the level we’ve always had in Penang…4 crates of beer in Penang is just about nice for 4-6 people...Mr Brandon now has 2 crates of Special Brew at home…

I woke up at about 12pm noon then buzzed Mr Jew to wake up as well…me, Mr Jew and Mr Brandon drank couple more cans of beer (finally we managed to clear all 2.5 crates of Carlsberg) whilst doing a brief post-mortem of the ‘sit-drink-talk’ session…at about 1:30pm Mr Brandon drove me and Mr Jew to Subang Airport for a return journey…

Middle of Year 2009..Party Time!!

Hi chaps!

It’s been quite a while huh….

Workplace is pretty much ‘calm’ at the moment when there are only me and manager working….rotating shift although sometimes I kind of felt that I’m the victim to his role by swapping couple of shifts when he fells like doing it…thankfully I’m not much of a fussy person at this kind of responsibility…at least I knew I’ll get paid at the end of the month with ‘extra’…hehe..

My colleague who was supposed to get 3 weeks unpaid leave ended up with 6 weeks unpaid leave (will be back on 29th June)….I couldn’t blame her though after knowing the story behind all the problem she has to endure…at least at this moment, me and the manager are able to ‘neutralize’ couple of bad impressions towards Penang office…

My part time so called business is not good since last month….well, I’ve been busy swapping/rotating work shift without proper pattern of work to accommodate unattended shifts….I’m currently looking for a ‘runner’ and believe me when I say that I have problem with trust…I had couple of candidates but they were not quite right for the job….

Friends…couple of weeks ago, a shocking news hits me….I wasn’t surprised yet it wasn’t expected to be this soon when all seemed to work out pretty good for them…they were one of the known name in Penang music scene since years ago but hey…even world class musicians could have their own agenda…no more “I’m with the band”..ha.ha…

I might be a little too late to share this great news…close friends have finally making their way to the aisle in near time soon…they have been together for couple of years and had just brought their relationship to another level (engagement) on 24th May 2009...look forward to their wedding day next year!! Congratulation!!

Another great news…I’ve just bought flight tickets back to Sabah for this coming Christmas…I had not planned to buy this soon but a day before, I was thinking of another close friend who’s having her wedding ceremony at KDCA at the end 2009 and I don’t prefer to miss this one at all…. Having said that I decided to apply leave and got it approved on the same day!!! So…I’ll be around from 19th Dec 2009 – 3rd Jan 2010….

I’ve been looking and planning at a possibility of another holiday this year…Me, Mr. Jew and Mr. Brandon are planning to go ‘out’ for a short holiday in Italy but so many things have came up without notice...Italy?? You guys really believe that??? I wish I can afford to go there…haha….the truth is, we are planning somewhere around SEA…since Mr Jew has a new pangakosayo colleague…we might go Philippines kan Jew?? Ha.ha…options: Vietnam, Philippines and Singapore…harap-harap Mr Jew sponsor la (FYI: Mr Jew’s wedding budget is RM10 million as he wants to beat the big spender, Tom-Kate’s wedding of USD2.7 million)

Mr. Brandon is coming over to Penang today…Mr. Jew is coming home as well and he has arrived….I have not met Mr. Brandon since Christmas 2008 and Mr. Jew since middle of last month…we are going to have a very small Kaamatan-Gawai belated celebration this Saturday…the event is scheduled to kick off as early as 5:00pm and expected to finish the next morning…we’ll be having BBQ and of course beer...as an event organizer, hope there will be enough supply of beer (depending on how much we manage to collect for ‘dana kehausan’).....Have fun!

Hot Spring Poring: Ultimate Relaxation

Third Day (14th Feb 2009)

….Yeah baby! Haha….I haven’t been to Poring for almost 5 years...that’s a quite a long period especially for someone who lives in Ranau…as the previous story goes….me, Mamai and Tom arrived at Hot Spring Poring couple of minutes before 6pm…first thing we did, house survey…and chose a room (a fully furnish 3 rooms house) then marinated the chicken wings along with sausages.....we bought 3 packets of chicken wing and 5 packets of sausage; 2-3 were prepped for BBQ respectively and the rest were kept for tomorrow…

Done preparing for BBQ and rearranged several items in the kitchen, we then went to have our early relaxation (Hot Spring)….it was past 6pm and people was already heading to their vehicles…couple of people were still there enjoying their relaxation though...we spent couple of minutes looking for available pond and finally found one spot..too bad the management doesn’t take care the hot spring ponds well enough….I had to use a piece of plastic cover (junk food’s) to avoid the water from going out through the drainage hole on the bottom surface….I couldn’t sit still and after a walk surveying around couple of ponds..I found 2 rubber pads meant to close the drainage hole…I took both of them..hehe…by that time, Mamai already enjoying his hot spring relaxation…swimming in the small pond? haha…kind of la sebab baring and tiarap….Tom however, enjoying a cold relaxation…haha…he opened the cold water tap instead of the hot water…well, he was enjoying his own kind of relaxation juga…what happened to mine? I had to wait almost half an hour to catch up with their enjoyment…haha…susah susah dulu ba….

Whilst waiting, care to have couple of cigarettes? Yeah...it must be great to have a couple cans of beer, couple of cigarettes whilst you’re in a hot water pond…huhu…finally, three of us enjoying our own kind of mind+body relaxation…spent almost an hour in that state…me, alternately having couple of cigarettes then called it a day when it was already dark…we were worried the others might be looking for us as we thought they might have probably arrived and wanted to get their stuffs in Mamai’s car….reached at the house, they were already there…the ladies were preparing foods for dinner, Sumpitz+Dogoes+Bopp were trying to lit up the fire for a BBQ and couple more were watching Astro…..I changed my clothes and went down to help the BBQ squad...haha…after couple of attempts...finally, we managed to make the fire up burning the charcoals….the others had their pre-dinner…whilst me make do as what necessary to the fire (making it bigger)…me, Tom and Mamai didn’t join because we already had our evening-slash-dinner couple of hours ago and….I was waiting for the BBQ…hehe….joining me in the BBQ squad were Dogoes, Sumpitz and Defoo…hehe..Dogoes as the QA assistant and Defoo as the passionate observer from the house…haha…slowly, Pinny, Bopp, Gurangak, Zi, Mamai, Nokurugia, Lumis and Defoo joined us…the others? Kuai was enjoying her Korean movie....Tom and Gidong had already entered their dreamland…I just wish we had a beer that night and more chilies….it could have been better but what would you expect ba kan if the entire members were tired…some had to walk “katam-katam” style to go-up the stair…as for me, my left leg was badly injured compared to the right one…although there were no beers that night…we had a hot Coffee+Kacip Fatimah that night…then orange syrup later that night…me, Mamai, Defoo, Lumis, Zi, Nokurogia, Bopp, Pinny and later joined by Dogoes spent couple more hours under millions of bright stars playing “lap-lap” using the K-box coins provided by Zi as tokens….

Fourth Day (15th Feb 2009)

I woke up at around 7am and noted several of us already busy making a breakfast...some were busy watching cartoon (Si Defoo) and I think others in the room were still enjoying their early morning climax…haha…Kuai and Zi went to ‘pasar’ earlier membeli belah.….Lumis with her squad were busy in the kitchen preparing a fried rice and fried chicken wings….I helped by making a hot black coffee (Nescafe) although tidak sedap tapi habis juga kena minum…hehe…our breakfast was really nice…nothing more you could ask for when you have fried rice+fried chicken+chilies on your plate accompanied by hot black coffee then later a cigarettes…haha…thanks to Lumis and her squad….after resting of stuffed tummy, we then walked slowly heading to….kehaaa!!….mandi la….thing that had changed since the last time I as there is, there have an entrance fee for the new ponds compound….it doesn’t make sense to me when there have a rate per age range and there also have a an hour duration for each entry…does that makes sense to you? Do you think if you exceed the 1 hour duration, the life-guard will drag you out of the compound? That’s just ridiculous…siapa punya idea yang brilliant la ni????? Entrance fee was RM3…we were supposed to let the ticket attendant knows that “we’re with Kuai (bukan la kuai tapi nama sebenar la)” something like that la kenen so we can get into the compound without paying RM3 each…but no worries, the moneys can be used for the development of Poring juga….we spent almost 3 hours there…took several pictures, swimming and some main “hantu-hantu”…Kuai and Defoo had to give up their fight from being thrown over to the water…another great moment was when Kuai managed to get a private hot tubs in a small cottage…..Thanks Kuai... there have 2 tubs with toilet each…well, the tub is not quite big but enough to accommodate at least 6 people..well, macam sardine juga la but that’s the fun of it….sharing a bath tub with fellow friends…even mungkin ada yang kencing we wouldn’t know…haha…

Spent hours in the cottage then walked back to the Medang Rest House….I took another shower (I was sweating walking back to the rest house)…we packed our stuffs and had our lunch….again, a decent lunch but very tasty…chicken ketchup and sardine….less is best ba tu…hehe…meleleh air liur ingat tu makanan…haha…last final thing before leaving was giving out the certificates…I was truly honored to be invited (along with Gurangak and Lumis..macam tua suda pula..) to present several certificates to others…the man of the hours was Mamai…he was first to reach Laban Rata and Lows Peak…Congratulation!!

Wallaa….we were finally at the end of the journey…me and Tom in Mamai’s car back to KK…Sumpitz, Defoo and Kuai with Zi in Zi’s car then the others were in a rented bus….we reach KK after almost 2 hours journey and Mamai sent to my bro’s house in Kelombong…minutes after that my bro arrived from “jalan-jalan” in KK town….rested couple of hours at my bro’s…I had already made a plan that night with Mesh and Jerry for a short meet-up…but due to complication (injured which disallowed me to drive and tiredness), I had to cancel the meet-up…earlier I had asked my bro if he’s free and planned to bring him along…he was fine with that…but after hours of resting my body became weak…eyes were so tired and contact lenses began to dry…I even fell asleep couple of minutes whilst laying down on a hard rock semen in my bro’s living room..huhu…at about 8:20pm I sent a text to Mesh that I had to pass the meet-up this time….me and my bro went out to the HSBC bank for me to withdraw some cash then straight to dinner…Once we reached home…I received couple of text messages….I was flattered…still, I tried to ignore godaan iman yang sangat kuat…..4 persons sent texts to me asking me to come….finally, my iman fell apart….I decided to come and I did with my bro….Gurangak, Mesh, Junior, Gidong, Kuai, Zi, Dogoes, Lumis, Bobby, Sumpitz and Olsen (if not mistaken) were there….I was served a jug of beer as promised by Angak…thanks bro…well I wasn’t thinking of drinking that much that night so I guess having a jug of beer should be more than enough….I was wrong!! A problem with me though…I can’t stop drinking once it comes to me…haha….I was kind of dizzy that night…it might surprised others that I was a bit hyper when or after being charged with alcohol (pemalu jadi tidak pandai malu pula kan)….haha…thankfully though, if there were 4 more jugs afterwards…I’m afraid I’ll pick a song and sing without hesitation…haha….we were the last groupie that left the place named Terminal 3 that night; a really nice place to hang out…I might go there again…hopefully the place would not be tainted by unlawful and uncivilized acts….it’s a karaoke pub club…there have extended pouch outside, sofas as well as a pool table…I had a great time with you guys …there’s always next time and when that time comes, it’ll be my treat….haha….

No problem at all..

"I drink, I get drunk, I fall down...No Problem"...thats the quote for today to start...on Thursday, I had a drink session with my housemate..Mr. Jabian (not a real name but that's what we've been calling him)..it was around 10:xx pm and I've had earlier thought of having a couple of bottles that night to boon my "Sleepless in Penang"....he actually just came back from KL...went there for an interview (post in KK), I was supposed to fetch him but I missed his text message... when I know he is already home... I returned his text message earlier to say sorry..ya kesian la ba..terpaksa naik teksi balik rumah...forgive me Mr. Jabian...at the same time, I was playing with his mood either he wants to have a couple of drinks..he then replied.."OK ba kalo ko"..I don't really know since when I first heard this statement..it's now a famous reply to any kind of request...so I went to meet up with him...and had 2 bottles..then 4 bottles..by 2 am we had 8 bottles already on the table..we chatted about his interview..he has a very high possibility to be hired...Good for you Mr. Jabian..we were 3 actually that night..his girlfriend is currently in Penang and she also had a couple of glasses as well..I was supposed to be in my sleep already at this time..instead of having a really nice dream..I was storing loads of fluid into my stomach...so the end result was, we contributed another 10 bottles for the beer manufacturer to fill another batch of Carls...when I reached home, it was already past 3 am..I need to depart at 6:30 am (latest time) to go to work later that morning..my shift starts at 7 am...I called someone and chatted for an hour then went to sleep..time was...4am!!!!!!! What a night....

Last night (Friday)..my housemate Mr. Jew and his band PAKU was invited to perform in a charity show meant for the China's earthquake victims..So, I joined to watch them and other invited bands...he said there would be around 10 bands..it was a wasted event!!..it was held at the exterior parking space of Queensbay Mall..this was OK to me..but the standard was so low and even lower than a fun fair kinda stage show..the crowd was less than 100 people... charity? no booth was been setup...they have a donation box but it does not look like a donation box..they left the box on the stage and hoping others would come forward to put some money in it...what the hell!! Heard that the event was sponsored by 100 Plus and Coca-Cola...100 Plus can drinks were provided free to bands' members...PAKU played 4 of their latest malay songs that are currently in recording process for their 1st offical album with 17 songs..(they had released they debut album with 3 songs and a video clip a year ago then went to UK..played at several night spots there)...the event was so disappointing..afterwards, we went to Club Dusun... another drinking session, only this time I was with Mr. Jew(Bassist) and Mr. Alex (Drummer)....we had Tiger mixed with Stout and a fried fries as a side dish..We adjourned at around 3 am as Mr. Alex needs to go to work today...I watched another DVD (Jumper) then went to sleep..

Today I woke up at 11:xx am, my body is a little bit fatigue and restless..but that's OK..no big deal...although it will affect my body but it never occurred to me to think this can be used as an excuse to not to drink continuesly...thankfully I have no problem with "boroi" issue although I drank loads of that fluid..do I have drinking problem?..am I an addict?...Totally Not!!..I like to hang out with friends and have a couple of drinks..that' all....last night Mr. Jew said that my "drunk meter" is already dead (mulfunction) He said...once I've hit that certain amount or mood..there will always be another round and round afterwards..(inda mau stop la ba ni kunun..tp mata jadi sepet suda)..I had so many experience..either bad or good...due to drunk..the worst I think was back in December 2006....they all are now my experience...as I personally believe that the more experience you have..the more you know about yourself....is there going to be another tonight..we might have one...Mr. Jabian's girlfriend said on Thursday, she wanted to treat us a drink and some BBQ on Saturday (today)..I love BBQ!Looking forward to that...now I want to watch another DVD..Have a great weekend guys!!
