When I first heard of the Coca Cola cakes I couldn’t imagine what one might taste like. Let me tell you I was very pleasantly surprised.
The first time I made the cake I thought I had messed it up. The batter was thin and the marshmallows were floating on top. Then I rechecked the recipe and found out that’s the way it was supposed to be.
This cake is easy to make and well worth the effort. Once you serve this cake, it will gain the status of one of your favorite recipes. You won’t need any special supplies, just the standard measuring and mixing tools. It is important to have the correct pan (a flat one) and to be sure the over temperature is correct.
Decorating Coca Cola cakes is not necessary but depending on the occasion, I will replace the pecans with candies or other items to suit the occasion.
