Now at midnight all the agents and the superhuman crew

Is strapped across their shoulders, and then the kerosene
Is brought down from the castles by insurance men who go

People dying of heart-attack in the offices of the world to maintain a rich class with no heart. It's all so saaaad ...
But it won't always be that way. One day, humans will transcend the madness of mnaterialism and the slavery of consumerism. People will make love in the streets and ethics will be the greatest capital of the world.

On the strength of a bit of sunlight coming early into my bedroom, I came out of the house singing that old Johhny Nash fave, I Can See Clearly Now:
... gonna be a bright, bright, bright sunshiny da-a-ay ... (yeah!)
Somewhere about half-way to the office the tune switched to Desolation Row and kerosene ... later on I came across André Dahmer's cartoon, and since the one before it seemed to fit as well ...
But indeed, it has turned out to be sunny :-)

And I, graças a Deus, had Mark Twain from my father.
This blog has been feeling like it will end anytime soon. In the meantime I think I will feature a samba dancer on each post - today's will be Quitéria Chagas when I get around to it - something to look forward to :-)
