You were born with greatness

Hello Crafty Friends!

It is my turn to share at Elizabeth Craft Designs and I created an inspiring wee card using product designed by the oh-so-talented Suzanne Cannon.  Suzanne designed the beautiful stamps and the gorgeous flourished frame die.  (see end of post for product links)

Below is the back of the card...sweet!  Love the flourished butterflies.

For card instructions and more details, feel free to hop on over to the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.

Product used:

If I Had A Star Grunge Card

Hello All!  Today is my day to share a project at Quietfire Creations.   I used Quietfire's If I Had A Star stamp and made a grunge card.  Isn't it a heart warming sentiment?  And the background paper is a perfect fit for the upcoming celebrations in the United States: Authentique's Pride paper.

It was a lot of fun making this card using the distress inks, edge distresser and the different materials.  A lot of it was scrap material that just seemed to fall into place on the card front.

Here is the inside of the card using more of the Pride paper and another star die cut.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you all have a great Thursday!
Hugs,

Quietfire Thinking of You card

Hello Crafters!

Today has been such a great day!  First thing this morning was the start of the baseball season.  (Ohhh...I just love baseball!  I am a huge Chicago Cubs fan and I look forward to seeing my boys play again!)   After the game was done, my friend Janice and I went shopping- which is always a good time.  The weather was in our favor with beautiful sunshine, too.  Now, I am listening to my Cubbies play Cincinatti in an exhibition game.  Feeling spring in the air, I decided to take photos of my card outside.

The gorgeous sentiment is Quietfire's Thinking of You stamp.  The background paper was an awesome find at a store in Crown Point, Indiana called Cafe Crop.  They had loose sheets of Authentique 6x6 paper available!  I have never seen that available in a craft store and I just had to have this sheet from the Free Bird Series.
Dies used: Spellbinders Stately Circles, Standard Circles and Stately Circles Grand.  The metal flower with gem is from Recollections.  Tim Holtz stain in Shabby Shutters was applied on the edge of the smaller Stately Circles die cut and on the pearls.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Kathy Jo

Tuning up for a Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!

It has been a week since my last post (*gasp*) but I have been nowhere near my little crafty room.  Hopefully next week will be better!

Today I am making a quick post showing the card I made for my Father-in-law. The stamped image is Penny Black's Tune Up stamp set.  As soon as I saw the dog fixing the car I had to get it!  He is too cute!  The background paper is from Authentique's Strong paper pad. Spellbinders' die set A2 Matting Basics A did the cutting for me.  :)

Really hate to post and run but my Father-in-law just woke up!  Time to give Father-s Day wishes...and a card!

Hugs to all and have a fantastic Sunday!
