Happy Anniversary - AHSC #510

I am back again! This week I have a another card for the AHSC. This was a customer who orders cards from me. I used the Cherish papers which are sadly sold out now. I absolutely loved playing with this paper, it was so beautiful and that made it so easy to play with and so fun. I did have to alter my design from the sketch a bit as the flowers were to big so I had to slide one cluster over and leave the top cluster off.

Backyard Bliss - Happy Birthday - AHSC

Hello, I am back with a card from my next workshop, Backyard Bliss. I have been busy creating all summer but so bad at a blogging my creations; I am trying to get back into the swing of things with posting my art work.

I created the card above for the AHSC for this week but I flipped it on its side to work with what my needs were for the stamped image.

In Full Bloom Birthday Wishes - AHSC 471

Hello....We are half way to the weekend! Today I have a card I made for a friend who requested some of my cards to send to her friends and family. I have been having so much fun playing with the In Full Bloom after doing my workshop, I just kept on going! I used the In Full Bloom paper pack on this one along with the In Full Bloom scrapbooking stamp & thin cuts, I coloured the flower with Glacier and leaves with Avocado. I did add the Birthday Wishes from the CC3223 May Wishes card kit from the National Scrapbooking weekend projects. I finished it off with some black leaf branches I had left over from my workshop and some black dots. I also based the card off this sketch from the AHSC #471 as shown below,

Cheers - Pumpkin Spice - AHSC 443

Hello! Today I am back with another project from my Pumpkin Spice workshop and that I created for the AHSC Design Team. I had so much fun playing with these papers, I am a total sucker for all things fall....except Pumpkin and Pumpkin flavours! But I do love the feel, the colours, the sense of change all of those things!

When I saw this stamp set I could not wait to get it and play with it. For this one I used my water colour pencils to colour it in, I need to up my skills with the water colour pencils so I forced myself to use them and practice some shading, I think it came out ok.  For an added touch on the whipped cream I added clear shimmer brush, it is hard to see in the picture but it is there!

Isabella Thinking of you - AHSC 439

Hello! Today I am bringing you a project I made for both my Isabella card workshop and my AHSC Design team project.

I know I always say this but I really loved playing with this paper pack. I just love the bright bold colours and it was a fun switch from the very outdoorsy feel (which I also loved) of the Wander paper pack. I also loved how cheerful the papers made me feel, the bright bold blues and yellows were perfect to me to brighten someones day and with all going on in this world, everyone knows someone who can use some cheering up!

Thinking Of You - Bunny - AHSC 421

Hello! I am back with another project for you today. Today,  using the Hillside cottage papers I have created a card for my Hillside Cottage workshop using Sketch #421 from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I did change things up a bit, the bunny would have worked out without using the stitched bracket but I felt the top was busy enough that adding the sentiment up there would be lost so I added it to the stitched bracket.

Products Used:

Paper:
- Hillside Cottage
- White Daisy and Flamingo card stock.

Thin Cuts:
- Stitched Brackets

Ink:
- Blue Belle and Black

Stamps:
- Z3948 Hillside Cottage card making
- B1734 Sunny Days Ahead

Embellishments:
- Black and White Enamel Dots

New Products - May/June Idea Book

Hello and welcome to the New Product Blog Hop featuring items from the May/June Idea book.

I am super excited to see all the new items and what my fellow consultants create with them. If you are joining me from Krista Hershberger welcome! If you are starting here with me, welcome! If you are new to blog "hopping" all you have to do is look for the next consultants name at the end of each blog post and click on it to go onto the next project, it is that simple. Tonight we have 17 consultants participating....so grab a drink or snack and enjoy some crafty goodness with us tonight!

Tonight I have two cards I made using our Mix In paper pack. I always order the Mix In papers and then they get pushed aside and I forget that I have them (yes, I have that much paper that I forget they are there, ok maybe not forget but. blinded by newer stuff!) I liked this Mix In pack a lot so that is why I made sure to play with it!

For this card, the Shine Bright card, the Shoot for the Moon stamp set was on my I want but will I really use it but I like it and want it list...so it was not one I bought right off the hop, we all have those products we like but think is it a need....so I did not buy it and I am so glad I didn't because I actually won it in one of the prize draws for the CTMH online events! That tells me I was meant to have this stamp!

On this card, I used the new Make It From Your Heart Volume 5 (I love this sketch / ideas book) and again used the Mix In papers. For this one, I used B1741 Spot On Sentiments to create this card sentiment saying Just because...I love you.

Other products used:

Ink:
- Toffee and Blue Belle

Embellishments:
- Black and White Dots

Birthday Cupcake - AHSC #420

Hello! I am a bit late in posting my project for this weeks AHSC design team, it has been a crazy few days and the online learning is killing my time these days but I have it and here it is!

I used Hillside Cottage for the papers and the new Deserts a la Whirl stamp set. I stamped the wishing you in New England Ivy and the Happy Birthday in Intense Black. I stamped the cupcake on White Daisy card stock and then again (just the wrapper portion) with Intense Black on the blue patterned paper and fussy cut it out. For the frosting I used my Pale Pink Blend Tri-blend marker. I finished it off with some white enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I welcome any and all feedback. If you would like help with purchasing any of the products mentioned my post today, please contact your local CTMH Maker.
