Art by Mi Ran - Have a special birthday

Hi all!!

I wanted to share an extra project over at Art by Mi Ran today, so I am sharing here as well!

I just don't want to see any Christmas cards, or anything that has to do with snow atm, so I thought I'd make a bright and happy card!

 The papers I used are from Prima Marketing, and all the edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. I used a doily from my stash, which I didn't ink at all.

 The image I used is Whimsy's Flo. I stamped her with Memento Angel Pink ink and colored her in No-Lines technique. This was the second ever time I did it, and I am quite happy with it! I used the following Copic Markers.

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13, E93, E95

Hair: E40, E41, E43, E47

Dress: RV63, RV66, RV69

Flowers: RV52, RV55, Y21, Y26, V12, V15, G40, G43, G46

 I added some mesh and ribbon from a shop called Kimya. I also filled a glass vial with some pink glitter powder. The vial is also from Kimya.

The sentiment I used is from Whimsy Stamps too

To finish off my card, I added some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

Art by Mi Ran - Snow globe

Hi all!!

First let me say that I hope your Christmas was great, and that you got everything you wished for! I had an awesome Christmas, spend it with family and friends.

Today I my turn to host the Art by Mi Ran blog, and I can't help but share the last Christmas project I did this year.

 I took a glass jar that used to contain vegetables, and cleaned it very well. I used some Dutch Doobadoo Gesso on the bottom inside and outside, to make it look like snow. After it dried, I added some powder snow in it.

 The image I used is called Eirwen, and I used my Copic Markers to color her.

Dress: R24, R46, R89, R59
Cape: W5, W7, 100
Fur: W00, W1, W3

I made a snowman out of paper, with a tutorial from Annes paper creations. The hat from the snowman is a cut file from my Silhouette Cameo. Behind the snowman and the image is a tree made out of paper, also from a tutorial from Annes paper creations.

The lid is covered with a piece of snowblanket. I added some fake Christmas tree branches around it, and embellished it with some deco material from my own tree. I poked a hole in the lid and threadened some twine through it. I added a white rose from Wild Orchid Crafts, some stars en balls and some gold stamen from my stash.

CreaMiep - Kerstgroetjes van ons

Hoi allemaal!

Vandaag is het mijn beurt op het blog van CreaMiep. Ik zit met mijn hoofd helemaal in de kerstsferen, dus ik hoefde ook niet na te denken wat het thema van mijn projectje zou worden.

 Dit keer heb ik ervoor gekozen om een kraft tasje te pimpen, met wat papier uit mijn eigen voorraad. Ik heb alle randjes aangezet met Distress Ink Vintage Photo. 

De witte achtergrond is een vel cardstock, waar ik een winterse rand op heb gestempeld. Ik heb hiervoor Memento Toffee Crunch inkt gebruikt. 

 De stempel die ik heb gebruikt, is van Wee Stamps. Dit leuke meisje is ingekleurd met alcoholmarkers, die matchen bij het papier dat ik heb gebruikt. Ik heb haar met Memento Tuxedo black inkt op DCP papier gestempeld.

 De tekst stempel komt uit de najaarsset van CreaMiep, en is gestempeld met Memento Tuxedo black inkt.

Om mijn kaart af te werken, heb ik verschillende bloemen gebruikt, Cherry Blossom, Roosjes 15mm en Sweetheart flowers.
