Spectrum Samples Cards

I made this set of cards using card stock strips that were created to show the colors for the Spectrum/Kaleidacolor Ink Pads Stampin' Up! sold years ago. No sense in keeping those samples, so I repurposed them into cards to donate to Operaton Write Home.

I peeled the strips off of the card stock sheet they were attached to then glued them onto cards I made to fit envelopes in my stash. The envelopes came from a yard sale. Every once in a while I find a useful bargain at a yard sale, but due to the high gas prices and no need for anything I rarely go to sales anymore. I paid $1.00 for the envelopes and small pieces of white lightweight paper (stationery set) that were originally bought from Hallmark. The paper will be used on the inside of some of the cards.

They measure 3 7/8" x 5 1/2" because the envelopes are smaller than a normal A2/invitation size envelope.
I've kept them blank so they could be used for whatever the serviceman or woman would like.

My favorite ! I just love this cute smiling jellyfish
