in honor of the holiday ;)  

Nothing fancy, I used an old Betty Crocker recipe.

Assorted Thank You Cards

I made majority of the cards I am sending to Operation Write Home blank cards so they can be used for almost anything. However, some were made with sentiments on them. These are a few of the Thank You cards I made to send.

All stamp images are from Stampin' Up!, most of which are no longer available.

Totally inspired by a pumpkin decorating project I saw in a magazine

I added a black hand drawn line around the edge of the white card stock after I took the photo.

It looks much beeter (of course I didn't get a photograph)

oops - forgot to have "Thank You" stamped on the tag before I took the photo

Thinking Of You - assorted cards pt 2

Still using up bits and pieces that have been saved.....................

Button Bear was my very first stamp set purchase from Stampin' Up! -

in the year 2000. I've had this image that long; it was given to me unfinished.

It was an uncolored bear with flower basket that had flocking on the paws, the row of uncolored bumblebees  along the top with Dazzling Diamonds wings, the checkerboard at the bottom.

I colored the images and added "Thinking of You", trimmed off the jagged edges that had been cut with edging scissors then mounted it to the checkered card stock.

Altered Notecards

These were a set of premade note cards I bought at a local discount store some time ago. 

The card stock is textured.

They open off to the side, under the embossed flap.

They were plain, no designs other than the embossing so I added

 stamped and colored images to the fronts. 

All cards are being sent to Operation Write Home.

Assorted Love Cards Pt 2

All cards are being sent to Operation Write Home.

One of the first rubber stamps I ever bought over 20 years ago before I ever heard of rubber stamp art.

 I just thought the bears were adorable.

Sadly it hasn't been used in ages and when I stamped with it, the image wasn't as good as it should be due to the fact that some of the rubber has hardened. Nooooooo!

Too cute - and fun to water color.

I could have made a dozen of these cards.....

maybe I still will !

I really don't like the tag on this - I think I will redo it
