Happy Day

Here's a quick card I made this morning.
I saw a card similar on pinterest last night.
I used 1 1/2" and 1" Circle Punches.
I used Flower Medallion Punch to make the leaves, I punched it out then reinserted it though the side of the punch and punched again.
I thought it was fun card, I have used the colours from Can You Case It #109
I have used  Shimmery White, Tempting Turquoise and Crushed Curry.
To finish it of I used the Clear Wink of Stella Pen on the centre circle and some rhinestones.
Last I stamped the sentiment from Perfect Pairings Stamp Set a SAB set you can earn for free.
Go and have a look at You Can Case It site, get inspired and create.
It's been a very busy week.
Here's the cake I iced for Samuel who turned 11 last Wednesday, we are going out for dinner tonight to celebrate.
My talents don't lay in cake decorating but the birthday boy is happy so that's the main thing.

Card in a Box

I have made two more cards in a box.
This one is very similar to Savannah's birthday card, which I posted last night.
The DSP is Quartrefancy Specialty, I have used different patterns from this DSP.
I like it with the Strawberry Slush paper.
I changed the flower on the headband, the Happy birthday is from Label Love Stamp Set and added Rhinestones instead of Candy Dots.
Here's another one that I have made.
The Colour Combo on this one is Island Indigo, Soft Suede, Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Very Vanilla.
The DSP is Venetian Romance.
I stamped a border on the Very Vanilla from You're Lovely (SAB) Stamp Set.
The flowers are from Flower Shop Stamp Set and the Just for You label is from Label Love Stamp Set.
Both of these sets have matching punches.
The leaves are cut using Little Leaves Sizzlits.
To finish this card I added Pearls and Candy Dots.

I(eye)Pad

I have made these for my kids to go in their stockings.
EyePads
I got the idea from my good friend Kim, for her birthday her DD made her an eyepad.
Sarah had used a vivid and drawn an eye on a pad.
I put my thinking cap on, here's my version using punches.
I used the Build a Blossom, 3/4' Circle and Owl to make the eye.
For the apple the back I used the Ornament, Scallop Oval and Bird Punches.

Sorry It's been so few and far between for posting on here this year.
2012 hasn't been a great year for me, and blogging has been in the too hard basket.
I have still been crafting, so have things to show you.
I will try to get back tomorrow (not promising through).

Puff 'n' Snuff....

...Blast from the past.
One of the challenges at Unconvention was a Punch Art Challenge.
Now you probably know I don't do a lot of Punch Art, it doesn't normally smoke my tyres as a rule.
I had been blurfing (blog surfing) as you do, and I came across Tami White's Dragon Punch Art card.
I had saved in my CASE file, so when we were asked to do a punch art card I knew what to do straight away.
Here's my 'Puff 'n' Snuff' card.
Can you remember that TV Show, I loved it but I was scared of Witchy Poo and would sit with hands over my eyes and peek through my fingers LOL.
I think he is just gorgeous.
He has been embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing folder, you have to love it, it's so versatile.
