I'm back with my second project as Guest Designer for STAMP WITH FUN. This time, it's a sketch challenge:

I have used a Bugaboo Astronaut and created some stamped backing panels using Papertrey Ink stamps and Night of Navy ink from Stampin Up.

The ric rac border is a Papertrey Ink die too.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges too:
Make It Monday ~ Anything Goes     One Stitch at a Time ~ Use a Digi
Robyn's Fetish ~ Anything Goes     Stampalot ~ Monochromatic
Sparkles Forum ~ Anything But Christmas

Another silhouette

Here's another card I made using the Botanical Silhouette set from Papertrey Ink.

I made it for A PAssion For Papretrey's silhouette challenge. I made the card blank using my nestabilities and I quite like the clean and fresh look of it. The monochromatic works great for silhouettes.

JJ Birthday Book

As it is a Monday, it's Anything But a Card Day at Bugaboo's blog, Catch The Bug! Today is my turn and I have used my Papertrey page die along with a whole bunch of JJ images from Bugaboo to create a Birthday Book/Diary.

Jodie has created a few sets called Calendar Months for a range of her characters. This means that you can easily have an image to suit every month of the year. I created a template for the pages in Microsoft Publisher and then inserted a JJ image onto each. Here's January:

And February:

And as it's October:

As it was intended as a birthday book, I used Baking JJ on the cover as I think she looks like she is struggling to bake a birthday cake. Finished off with a few jump rings and ribbon and viola!

I am entering this card into the One Stop Craft No Designer Paper challenge and Craft Catz's Birthday challenge. Stampin Sisters have a Time theme too so the calendar element fits in with that. My Time To Craft want Dies, well each page has been cut with one. The ric rac is also a Papertrey die cut.

Passion For Papertrey

When I saw that the theme for the current challenge at A Passion For Papertrey was Sihlouettes, I knew I wanted to finally get out my free set I got from them - Botanical Silhouette.

I kept it simple and have always been impressed by Nichole Heady's simple bordered cards. So clean and elegant. So this is my attempt at her style. I thought black would be too stark so decided upon Night of Navy card and ink from Stampin Up.

I also want to enter One Stop Crafts challenge with this card as it is a No Designer Paper challenge and Fairy Tale's Sympathy Challenge.

Another small step for man...

Let's fly off into space again with another card made using Bugaboo's new Astronaut image. There's a great selection of them to be found in the shop HERE.

The background was stamped using a PTI stamp set using Night of Navy ink from SU. Matching cardstock was used and the PTI eyelet border die too.

The background building stamp has a small star detail in the middle of the circles which really suits the theme and style of the image.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Digi Doodle ~ Anything Goes     Dutch Dare ~ Birthday
Digistamps4joy ~ Children     I Love Promarkers ~ Anything Goes
Papercraft Star ~ Anything Goes     Celebrate the Occasion ~ Blue and White

Knobbly Christmas

Did you like the Knobbly Knees that were released at Bugaboo the other day? If so then you're in for a treat:
CHRISTMAS KNOBBLY KNEES

I have usesd my latest Papertrey ink dies and stamps to create the frame and some snowflakes stamped in SU Garden Green on Garden Green card for a subtle background.

The sentiment is stamped with Elzybells word stamps.

Am entering into these challenges too:

Clean and Simple

What's in store for this week at Catch The Bug's Challenge? Well, it's
CLEAN AND SIMPLE
Yep, that's the challenge, keep it clean and simple - strip back all those embellishments and and go for the sleek look.

My card uses the Stocking Santa with Present image. It has then been punched out with a circle punch and mounted onto my new Papertrey Ink die and stamp.

Two thin black lines were drawn around the edge just to tie the whole thing together. It looked a bit too bare without them.

Although this is a challenge in conection with Bugaboo Digital images, it is not essential but we'd love to see you using the images. If you haven't got one, check out the shop as there is a freebie each week. Now you don't have any excuse : )   And make sure you visit the challenge blog at CATCH THE BUG for all the details and more inspiration from the Design Team.

Make For The Border

So excited that my latest Papertrey order has arrived safe and sound. Haven't even finished unwrapping it all yet and sorting the stamps out but just had to use the circle border and stamps as I have been wanting these since they were released!

I made this card for the Passion for Papertrey challenge which is Make For the Border.

For the Boys!

Well, seeing as Father's Day is fast approaching, what better theme for this week's Bugaboo challenge at Catch The Bug than:
IT'S A MAN'S WORLD
I have seen these shapes around for a while and so have had a go. Again, I felt the need to play with the measurements to make them easier! Have stuck to 1 inch and half inch increments to make this card blank:

The image is from the A KIDS VIEW SUPERHERO range. I love this character and have used him quite a bit! The green panels were stamped with a little star using distress ink. The 'My Hero' sentiment was also using a PTI ink set (the Star Prints one) and is actually 2 different stamps. The border on the bottom was punched using a Martha Stewart border punch.

Of course, with it being a Bugaboo Digi Images blog, we'd love for you to use one but it's not essential. If you are new to digis or want to try before you buy or simply looking to expand your Bugaboo collection, remember that there is a freebie available every Friday. Head on over to the shop now to pick up this week's one. And make sure you visit the challenge blog at CATCH THE BUG for all the details and more inspiration from the Design Team.

ABaC Monday

So today is Anything But a Card day at Bugaboo and today is my turn to share a project with you:

What is it I hear you ask! Well, it's a book I made using a PTI die

The front is adorned by Artist JJ as this book is an...

ATC display book!!! I have attached ATC sleeves to the pages to store favourite ATCS in. Below the ATC is space to write some detail - who made it, when etc. I've left one blank and put an ATC in the other so you can see how it looks before and after.

The tabs were punched with a SU Punch and then stamped with PTI Sentiments.

The inside pages have been stamped with PTI stamps too.

Introducing Ava and Deacon

Well actually, I only have Deacon! But both Ava and Deacon are released today at BUGABOO.

As you can see, I've used my PTI stamps once again to create the background. I've used a sentiment set called 'Around and About Sentiments' to create this for the Passion for Papertrey challenge. Just goes to show that you don't just have to use images and patterns to create a great background. I like the simple feel of it and the striking black and red colour combo.

So, you can head on over to the SHOP to get them now or maybe head on over to CATCH THE BUG for more inspiration from the rest of the Design Team.

Papertrey Background

You may have seen a card I made the other day using some Papertrey stamps to create a background. Well I've been at it again and used the Polka Dot Basics set to create this retro look backing paper. I used Garden Green ink from SU. So here's a look at my second entry for Passion for Papertrey:

The image is Gus from Bugaboo stamps.

I'm also entering this card into the Creative Inspirations Paint challenge which has the them 'Inspired by Circles'.

Papertrey December Hop

The theme for this Papertey hop is Recycling from Christmas. I decided to use some left over wrapping paper but it was a bit thin. I decided to wrap it around some white card and then 3D mounted it onto the white cardstock. I used a PTI sentiment on a Spellbinder label to wrap around the card.

I also seem to have a LOAD of small pieces of white card left over from all the Christmas projects. I cut out this little notelet and stamped and punched loads of star to use it up. Quick and easy thank you notes for the after Christmas needs. Hope you like.

Mini Tabbed Book

When I order from PTI the other day, I was really looking forward to being able to use the Snowflake Serenade set to create quick but sophosticated cards. But I also ordered a few dies too. I ordered the mini tabbed book die to be able to create small scrapbooks and notebooks. I spent yesterday just cutting out lots and lots of pages! This one is made using night of navy card with the night of navy and bashful blue ink from SU.

I havent got any rings to tie them together. If anyone can let me know a good place to get some jump rings then please let me know. Can't seem to find any anywhere! So instead, I used some Night of Navy Ribbon to secure the pages. The tabs I made using a SU punch and stamped some PTI mini sentiments (yes, another new set!)

I also got the bookmark die too. I made a matching bookmark for the mini book.

I'm entering this project into the following challenges:
Alice In Wonderland - Curiouser and Curiouser (Winter Wonderland)
Allsorts - Anything Goes
Sew Many Cards - Winter Project
Stamp Something - Tags or Pocket (I think the bookmark doubles up as a tag)

Snowflakes Serenade

Wahooooo! I got more Papertrey Stamps and dies. 8 more sets to play with. Backgrounds, Images, Alphabet but mostly Sentiments. I love their sentiments. Here's some really quick and easy Christmas cards made with the Snowflake Serenade set.

The first two ar A6 cards. I made these for the Passion for Papetrey challenge but I missed the cut off this morning. Still wanted to share them though.

These are 10cm by 10cm ones. A cute size for Christmas.

And for this one, I tried the same but in green. Quite liked it. The cardstock also has a glittery shimmer which the camera can't pick up but is great in real life.

I'm also enetering the cards into the following challenges:
Allsorts - Last Minute Christmas
Paper Playtime - Snowflakes
Scrapbook Sisters - Snowflakes
Wags 'n Whiskers - Snowflakes
Stampavie - Christmas
Stampin' Royalty - Winter Holidays

A Passion For Papertrey ~ Christmas

Do you like the background on this card? I used my PTI A Little Argyle stamp set to create it. No extra papers involved at all. I like the clean and simple feel it gives. I inked the edges of the card with some brown to add definition. The Robin is a Bugaboo digi from the November Club release. There's a new December club kit out now so head on over to the SHOP to check it out.

The sentiment is also from PTI. One of my best purchases this year. They've been used over and over again.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
A Passion for Papertrey ~ Christmas (using PTI Products)
Pile It On ~ Feathers and Fur
Sweet Stampin' ~ Making Your Own Backing Paper

A Wintery Release

I'm a big fan of the Bugaboo AKV Range (A Kids' View). They are such simple images to colour but look so fun and funky. Today is the release of another addition to the range ~ AKV Winter. Great wintery characters for all those cold and frosty projects. Check them out HERE.

The background panel was created using Pacific Point Ink from SU and A PTI stamp set - Tin Types. I doubled up the background stamp by stamping the same image in all the gaps to create a fuller background.

A Two Part Post - Lots To Read

I have a couple of cards to share today and a LOT of exciting Bugaboo news to share.

Firstly, here are my entries for the challenge over at Passion For Papertrey. I'm still a bit limited in my PTI creations but hope to rectify that soon.

The theme is to CASE a DT Member. I chose to CASE this card bi Niki Estes:

I originally tried to create the red one on Kraft card but the colour difference between the ink on kraft and the ribbon was too much so I changed the backing to cream instead. I also left out the flower as I had a bow instead. The sentiments are both curvy and look handwritten. Mine is from the Christmas set though but I think I need the set Niki has used too now!

Here's a close up of the Chocolate Chip version. I used the flower background from the Tin Types set:

And the Real Red version. Again, the stamp is from the Tin Types set but I have doubled up the crosses to create a fuller and bolder pattern:

Hope you like them. I'm going to enter them into the following challenges too:
One Stitch at a Time - Christmas Theme
2 Sisters - No Designer Paper
No Time To Stamp - CAS Christmas

OK, second lot of news. I'll start with the most exciting. BUGABOO ARE HAVING A NEW DESIGN TEAM CALL.
