One Foot in a Fairytale..

Morning everyone!

Time for a stunning piece from our DT Susen and this is the last inspirational post for this week's theme
Every Moment Matters..

There is a beautiful quote that inspired this card..

We all have one foot in a fairytale, and the other in the abyss..

Saturated Canary meets Maja's Summer Crush collection as our Susen said..
The card's layout is pretty simple but those colourful accents make it special for sure..

I'm sure you wanna know right away the name of this beautiful image..
It's Fairy Revised..

Susen coloured her with Distress Inks and applied some Distress Micro Glaze on top of it at the end..
This makes the image waterproof so you can be sure that your memories will last..

There is some faux stitching around the image, but Susen used her sewing machine also..
I looooove it!

 The postmark on top is from the Stempelglede Vintage Garden Set..
Behind the image is a distressed piece of corrugated cardboard covered in Gesso..
And all those gorgeous flowers..
From our WOC range of course..

Did you notice that pull out tab on the top right corner of the card?
This is the smaller piece from the Recipe Card Magnolia Doohickey set..
The fab thing is that there is a secret compartment behind the whole front panel that holds a big tag and Susen stamped another motif from the same Stempelglede set there and coloured that one with Distress Inks too..

Good morning everyone!

You think we are not making male cards?
You couldn't be more wrong..
Check out what our DT Izabela made for today..
A wonderful present for a gentleman turning 60..

It's a wonderful gift set..

A card with a coordinated box..

Izabela matched lots of different Maja Design papers this time..

Some from the Summertime collection, some from the Vintage Romance..

And one of the images is from the Summer Crush 6x6 Paper Pad..

On top of that she added some Pion Brown II from the Pion Design Palette..

Definitely she did not use as many flowers as usual and there is no glitter on here, but there are lots of wonderful masculine accents..

Cigars, Tequila, and old car..

The amazing Scrapiniec chipboard Clock represents the elapsing time..
Izabela used two more chipboard sets on this project..
One is the Park Avenue Hanging Sign Mix and you can spot the Trellis Background back there too..

She only used a few Wild Roses and Aster Daisies on the card but you can see that there are more on the box lid..
Chrysanthemums, Cosmos Daisies, Open Roses and again Wild Roses and Aster Daisies with some marvelous blue Vintage Seam Binding tucked in..

Izabela could not avoid using the stunning Rose Leaf Doohickey die..
She coloured the leaves with Fossilized Amber and Twisted Citron Distress Inks..

And yes.. The inside of the card matches perfectly the outside..

There's nothing left to coincidence..

Happy Summer Holidays..

Hello everyone!

It's time for our DT Izabela to reveal her Welcome Summer creation..

She loves summer and the sea,

the sound of water

and a joyful swim in the warm sea..

She says she cannot wait for the summer holidays to begin and her inspiration for this week looks like this..

She made this gorgeous vintage card using the Summer Crush 6x6 Paper Pad from Maja Design, another Maja sheet, this time from the Vintage Romance collection and the awesome solid Pion Design Palette sheet called Pion Blue IV..

Here are the gorgeous WOC flowers covered in glitter..

She used some Magnolias, Sweetheart Blossoms, Aster Daisies and Cherry Blossoms and made these gorgeous leaves with the Rose Leaf Doohickey..

They are cut out of plain white paper and coloured with Distress Inks..

Twisted Citron and Ground Espresso are the colours she picked for them and she used the Fossilized Amber one to give more life to the Sweetheart Blossom on the left..

Izabela used the Pion IV for the inside of the card too and the Scalloped Tags that are peeking out there were also made out of that..

Then she added some sea themed die cuts like the ship behind that awesome vintage image and

a bit of our wonderful and luxurious Lace Antoinette..

The edges are distressed and she used a bit of natural twine to give more interest to the whole project..
