Bring Me Olives..

Hello Ladies and Gents!

We are starting this week later than usual but sometimes things just get in the way, don't they?

But we are now ready to share with you the very first creation for our Birds and Roses theme..

This gorgeous card was made by our fantastic DT Barbara..

Do we have roses?
We do! Lots of them..
And the bird?
Hidden inside.. LOL!

The amazing papers our Barbara used are from the Easter Greetings collection from Pion Design..
Easter will be here any time and since these are soooooo gorgeous I suggest you grab some more while we have them on offer..

Here's our Olive Tilda from the Little Italy Collection 2015..
Coloured with Distress Inks and sealed with some Distress Micro Glaze..
Barbara added some nice accents on the image and around her..
The silver dots are made with Liquid Pearls and the olives are all covered with Glossy Accents..
Why doesn't the camera pick up all those wonderful details? Arrrgh..
The highlights on the eyes are made with a Ranger White Opaque Pen..

Lots of layers..
Faux and real stitches..
Some splashes of Gesso mixed with Texture Paste here and there..
A tiny bit of lace and a charm..
And lots of wonderful WOC flowers and berries of course..

Barbara cut out the image with one of the Magnolia Doohickey dies from the Rounded Frames and Tags set..

Pizza, anyone?

Good morning lovely followers!

This week we are all about different techniques around here as you might already know..
Our DT Laura chose to use lots of die cuts in white for this project and coloured them with Distress Inks..
That's her technique for today..

She made this kind of menu chalkboard decorated with some stunning elements..
She used some Pion Brown II from the Pion Design Palette collection for the base and added the gingham paper on top of it..

There's pizza on the menu today and what better stamp than Pizza Tilda to go with it..
This beauty from the Little Italy Collection 2015 is coloured with Copic Markers..
You can already see a bit of the pots behind her..

Yep.. Laura 'planted' a big sunflower in the big one..
And check out the gorgeous Basil in the little one..
I think it looks phenomenal..
She also used some Gesso here and there to soften the whole look a bit..

An finally here's Tilda's pizza..
As I said before our Laura loves to colour her die cuts with Distress Inks..
She cuts everything out of plain white paper and then she can make them exactly how she wants them to be..

Once again she made some basil..
This is one of the latest released Magnolia dies and the name of the set is Oregano and Basil..
As you can see here she used the oregano too..
But that's not all..
There's one more Doohickey here we want to show you..
The beautiful Parsley & Rocket Salad..

Our Barbara and Susen used those on previous projects and they can be easily used as foliage..
That's how amazing and versatile they are..

We said goodbye to one of our DT members yesterday but no worries..

Well.. Let's be honest..
The whole card is just amazing..

This is Pizza Tilda from the Little Italy Collection 2015..
Our Irene coloured her with Distress Inks and if you want to see how she makes these marvels you can take a look at the video she made for our YouTube channel..

She used lots of the new 2015 Distress Inks for this one too..

She decided to use once again the beautiful Pion Design papers from the To My Valentine collection..

The Magnolia Doohickey die called Chicken Wire is just amazing..
And guess what?
There's something else on this card that our Irene loooooves to use on almost every project she makes and will be added to the store very, very soon..
